2001 Buell Blast. Excellent condition. We've gotten 73 mpg out of this bike. Perfect beginners bike. Low seat height. Less than 6,000 miles. All services are up to date. All gaskets and fluids have been replaced, new spark plug, new automatic choke, new front tire, new drive belt, carburetor serviced. Seat recovered with additional padding. Includes a removable and lockable Shrad top case and windshield. Either can easily be removed if you like.

Good condition Buell Blast. Odometer 3120 miles. Clean title. Vehicle History report available. Great beginner's bike: small, light, easy to handle, great pick-up for going around town but not so powerful it will throw you off. Can get up to highway speeds with no problem. Starts right up and shifts smoothly. Has an automatic choke and self-adjusting belt drive. Super easy to own and ride. Both seats available: regular and low. Cosmetic scratches on right Buell logo on tank, silver accents, and belt cover. Front turn signals are aftermarket but rest of bike is stock. Message me for more pictures and video of bike running. 2009 Buell Blast, A Two Wheeled Piece Of Engineering History - FUN FACTOR The Buell Blast is a machine that represents everything there is to love about sport riding. It?s lightweight, perfectly balanced and thanks to Buell Intuitive Design and Engineering it?s also a very capable corner-carver. Some of the innovative design features included the use of an automatically tensioned belt final drive, self-adjusting hydraulic valve lifters, and a carburetor with an automatic choke. The engine design was borrowed form Harley's Evolution Sportster engine with the rear cylinder eliminated. The plastic bodywork pieces of the Blast were made from Surlyn, a substance used to make the outside of golf balls, to protect the surfaces. Here's an opportunity to own a piece of history, at a great value.

It has seen its share of tip-overs and the left side of the tank is scratched up. However, it also spent it's life going slowly in a parking lot. That's the reason for the low miles. It is designed as a user-friendly bike that is very confidence inspiring for beginning riders. It has a number of problems that need to be addressed. The battery is very low and will need to be replaced. It starts with difficulty and runs, however the carb and the automatic choke seem to be in need of cleaning and adjusting. The neutral light does not work and it is very hard to shift. The transmission may have something bent inside. It can actually be ridden as long as you are very determined when shifting. As you can see, the headlight, turn signals and right passenger peg are missing. Anyone interested in this bike can come by Coleman Powersports in Woodbridge, VA and take a look.
