1977 Yamaha RD400 (RD350 Fuel Tank) The bike was completed in 2013, has multiple local show wins, was Two Stroke World Bike of the Month for Sept 2013, and featured in Cafe Racer Magazine's Readers Rides section (Jan 2015). Bike runs and looks flawless. It's been a fair weather rider with probably 500 miles on it since completed. Tuned perfectly, it starts on first / second kick and never fouls plugs. Perfect 2mm smoke ring was obtained during plug chops. Engine conservatively timed @ 1.7mm BTDC and running 32:1 premix Amsoil Interceptor oil and 93 Octane. All wiring is neatly tucked under seat and fuel tank. New owner will receive a color wiring diagram of the bike I did in AutoCAD. I have for sale a 1984 Honda CR250R motocross bike. (pictures are of actual bike for sale in this listing) I bought this bike from the original owner who had taken it apart to fix it and lost interest. He then stored it for the last 25 years before I got it. I have done a lot of work to get this CR250 to the stage it is now. Here is a list of the things that I have done to it so far: -Rebuilt the engine: -New piston, rings, wrist pin, top end bearing. -New Athena gasket kit (MLS head gasket) -New seals -New bearings through out the entire motor. -New HotRod rod assembly -New water pump seal (mechanical type) (the water pump housing has very little pitting, which is unusual for this model) -Sand blasted and powder coated the entire motor (to my liking and not the factory colors)(the words HONDA and ATAC are powder coat and not paint) -Chassis: -New Fly aluminum bars -New Scott grips -New chain and sprockets -New seat cover -New maier Side panels in the rear -New Moose air filter -Powder coated frame (closest I could get to the Honda flash red) matches the cylinder head -Frame under motor has one small ding, but it was small enough that I didn't even notice it until just before powder coating. -Powder coated sub-frame that matches the cylinder -Powder coated foot pegs (gloss black) -Powder coated upper clamp (silver vein) -Powder coated rear spring to blend motor with frame (two colors merge)(silver vein and flash red) -New front number plate -Both tires have great tread approx. 85% tread left with no cracking. They are older vintage tires * I have the front plastic fork guards with disc protector, but they are not on the bike yet, but will be included. I have put a lot of time and money into this bike and it looks very nice. However there are things that I would still like to do to it to make it better, but neither time or money will allow. If this bike doesn't sell i will just hang onto it and slowly finish it as time and money allow, but it is currently about 97% done. Some of the things that could still be addressed are: -Rear chain splash guard has a piece missing (works fine but would look better with a new one) -Chain rollers would look better if it had new ones (they currently work fine) -Polish the plastics to more look like new (The radiator shrouds, front fender, rear fender are all originals) -Change fork seals, for piece of mind because they are the originals -Get fork protectors installed -original decals with vintage stickers removed -Model ID tag I have gotten the bike to the condition it is now, as seen in the pictures and that is how it sits as of this listing. I have started the bike and it runs great. After warm up I have ridden it down the street and back one time. Total run time of 5 min or so on the bike since all the work that was mentioned above. I have way to much of my time and money invested into this to complete everything that I want. I have to many projects so I'm letting this one go, but if it doesn't I will just finish it as time and money will allow. This bike will be sold with a bill of sale, because my state doesn't title off road bikes older than 1987. I prefer local pick-up. I will ship international, but I require $500 on top of the selling price and shipping cost. If bike sells for my asking price, I will get the fork seals replaced, along with getting new chain rollers, and chain splash guard. TRADES: -If you have a CRF450, banshee, trx450 or Sport quad that you would like to use as partial payment, send me a few nice pictures and I will let you know if I'm interested. I have tried to described this bike as accurately as possible. This bike is very nice as it sits, but for those of you out there that will disagree, please keep your comments to yourself. Thanks *Note, the bike can currently be ridden as it sits. Everything mentioned is just what I would like to do to make it look better. This bike is sold AS-IS and all sales are final so read all the info in the listing and if you have questions just ask. I can be reached at 435-232-o49eight I would prefer local pickup, but I'm not opposed to shipping as long as I have cleared payment before I ship. Buyer responsible for all shipping costs. Up for Auction is a 1 of a Kind 2008 Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide! Nick named "MEAN GREEN" ! This Bike was on the cover of the April 2009 issue of "BAGGERS" magazine! Bike is in same condition as in the Magazine! We did change the Exhaust to a Chrome 2 into 1 Cobra "Pro Pipe", that is designed for a "Built Motor"! We changed pipe because of no "Heat Shields" and didn't want to give any one a hot foot! We replaced all brake pads and replaced factory rear brake hose with a braided one. Bike is Ready to Ride! This is the August 2009 "Bagger Magazine" article with complete description! 2008 Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide - Down-Home Goodness How does a guy named Houston who is from South Carolina hook up with a guy from Phoenix to paint his bike? It's a long story that dates back a few years when Houston was looking for a painter to shoot some wild stuff on a few of his world-record-holding Yamaha Banshee race quads. After searching the Internet, looking at other paintjobs for a clue as to just what he wanted, he stumbled upon Airea5150.com and become enamored with what he saw. Looking for hours through page upon page of skulls, demons and nekkid women, he knew he had found what he was looking for. Fast-forward a few years as well as a few quads later, and Houston was hot to get his legs wrapped around a bagger. After looking at just which model he wanted, his mind was made up, and he decided to throw down some cash on a 2008 Street Glide. After riding it a few miles, he was happy with most of the stock items on the bike but wanted to make it look different than all the others at the cruise nights as well as put a few more horses into it. Being a guy who has made a name for himself as a two-stoke engine builder, Houston decided to tear down the stock motor and add on a Screamin' Eagle 103 kit. While he was doing the teardown on the motor, he sent all the sheetmetal to Scott and Karen at Airea 5150 to do what they do best. Houston pretty much told them to do what they wanted on it, and as most of us know, this is how you get the best paintjobs, by letting the painter go crazy in the creativity department with no constraints. After six weeks, the freshly painted tin was shipped back safe and sound to Houston, and he was floored at what he saw. A deep, two-toned lime green and gold base with tons of airbrushed demons and purple flaked tribal giblets with pinstriping now adorned his ride. After seeing the painted parts bolted back onto the bike, Houston knew that the stock wheels were not going back on, so he gave Roland Sands Design a call and ordered up some Contrast Cut Diesel wheels in a 21-inch/18-inch combo wrapped in Metzeler rubber. Knowing that the '08s come with Brembo brake calipers, he bypassed getting aftermarket billet calipers but opted for the matching RSD Contrast Cut rotors and Lyndall Racing pads. From there he did a fair bit of sprucing up on the Street Glide by getting some chrome gauge surrounds and ditching the stock steel floorboards for a set of Performance Machine's polished units with matching shifter and brake pedals. A smoked Kryakyn Panacea LED taillamp with internal inserts cleans up the backside of the bike very well. With the motor being punched out, the need for an upgraded exhaust hit a fever pitch, and a Bassani two-into-one was bolted onto the right side of the bike. A K&N; air filter was also slipped into the otherwise stock air cleaner cover, and it was all tuned with a Fuelpak. The fork was taken apart, amassed with the other pile of parts, including the front engine guard, and sent over to Affordable Powder Coating in Phoenix, Arizona, for the gloss black treatment. This bike is the case in point that you don't really have to do too much to make your bagger stand out in the crowd. Just do what Houston did and supply yourself with a winning combination of new wheels, a splash of paint and a few more horsepower, and you too can have one killer roadworthy custom bagger.
