Moto Guzzi : 850 1972 moto guzzi 850 barn find

1972 Moto Guzzi 850 with very rare front fairing. This bike has heavy duty thick spoke wheels and brakes. It has hard bags in rear and big cylinder heads. From a little research we believe it to be a GT 850 California Police model but cannot confirm that you will need to be the judge. Engine numbers are VP50492 which makes us believe that it is a California Police model; however, it does not have the Police gage package?? The motorcycle was running when it was parked but has been a number of years since it has been running. The engine is not frozen, we moved engine forward and back ~ 15 degrees but the cylinders should be removed and inspected. The tires will need to be replaced due to dry rot, battery needs replace, carb should be rebuilt etc... This bike is being sold for my brother in-law. He has clear title in hand. This bike is sold as is where is. This will be a wonderful bike for this coming summer with a little work. 1982 Honda CR250R Exceptionally Clean Perfect Restoration Project I purchased this bike two years ago with the intention of restoration. This was truly a "barn find" Honda CR250R. It has had 2 owners, still has the original tires, perfectly straight wheels, and also includes a binder of history that adds to the value of the bike.Since the CR did need a new clutch/water pump cover, I was able to obtain a perfect (mint) 1981 aluminum cover which was difficult to find. (The 1982 CR 250R came with a magnesium cover which was prone to failure). The CR had piston failure the last time it was ridden 20-25 years ago. Although I have not removed the cylinder for inspection, I would assume that the cylinder would be a good candidate for refinishing as well. The only other item the bike would need is the installation of the aluminum clutch/water pump cover which is included. The CR is fully clean, detailed, and ready for immediate delivery. Original shop manual, MSO from Honda, and a binder full of articles/tips/info from the era of moto racing is included. I will assist in any way with shipping the bike to you. I have available a 1975 Honda CB550F SuperSport that is in need of a good home. This vintage girl is a Barn Find that was not in good working condition. The engine was rebuilt and new tires put on as of riding season 2014. Got to ride her quite a bit and she sprang an oil leak recently. Looks to be a hose but don't have the time to fix her up. Bike starts first time and has a built in electric start and Kickstart. I have all receipts for repairs during my time of ownership. Features: Seat has been repadded and wrapped in leather, Extra Gas Tank included and engine guard with highway foot pegs installed. History: I am not the original owner.
