The gas in the tank and lines have 10 year old gasoline in them and will simply need the old gas to be cleaned out before driving it on the road. However, with starting fluid, it obviously starts, idles, shifts and accelerates with out trouble. Should be a straight forward clean, service and ride! She starts and shifts. Brakes work well too. copyright 2015 - Vintage Offroad Inc

Here is for your consideration a beautifully restored 1972 Jawa 350 Californian. Jawa was built in former Czechoslovakia and in it's golden age, Jawa was dominating the motorcycle industry around the world. This is an example of Jawa's most successful model sold in the U.S.A. The famous Californian. This Jawa was found in the barn two years ago as a wreck with about 40% parts missing. She was disassembled and completely restored. By restoring, I mean frame up restoration with overhauled engine. Motorcycle received a new paintjob, which is in my opinion 7/10. All the parts that use to be chromed, were re-plated by triple plating method. Missing parts were sourced in the Czech Republic and originals were restored. Bike received new rims, spokes, tires and tubes. Seat plate was stripped and repainted, new upholstery was applied to the original seat foam base. New electrical installation, featuring an electronic and reliable VAPE ignition system. Motorcycle is equipped with battery, but motorcycle can run with out it ( since the VAPE magneto) Unit has 6V system. Fuel tank was sealed inside to prevent rust. Engine - completely disassembled, crank shaft rebuilt with new conrods installed. New pistons and rings coupled with re-bored cylinders. New seals and bearings were installed as well as a new clutch. Initially this motorcycle was equipped with a Jikov Carburetor, but for a better performance I installed a Jikov replica, with better performance in lower RPMs. This carburetor gives this bike the "edge", she rides like a dream. I rode her for about 80 miles to make sure that everything is working fine. She cruises effortlessly at 70 MPH with max speed I noted about 80-85 MPH. But did not ride at that speed for a long time ( just couple of minutes), since the engine is not yet fully broke in. New Hypoid 90 grade gear oil fill. This is a two stroke machine with a separate oil injection system. So you fill the gas tank with straight ( I recommend ethanol free) gas and there is an oil tank on the left side of the bike, which is filled with 2 stroke motor castor oil ( I recommend to keep using it). She starts right up on second kick, very reliable. Bike has a new speedometer, all new cables, rebuilt brakes and repacked wheel bearings. Front and rear shocks were rebuilt with new bushings and seals, with fresh fork oil fill. All rubber parts are new as well, including brand new tires. The taillight is a replica ( very good) of the original LUCAS unit, which was un-restorable, front headlight is the original BOSH, restored For pictures of the restoration and to see, what the bike looked like before the restoration, please visit my facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/Pavels-Restoration-427624467343978/photos/?tab=album&album_id=804390199667401 In conclusion, this motorcycle was restored the right way, I did not cut any corners, however it is an old motorcycle, which will probably require more maintenance and attention than brand new bikes with modern technology. If you are looking for a daily rider, this might not be the bike for you and you should buy yourself something Japanese. But, she is very unique motorcycle, that creates lots of attention everywhere I go. For 43 year old bike, she rides like a dream and for somebody, who is a Jawa enthusiast, or just looking for something unique and different, she might be the bike of choice. She could be also used for display, to represent the fabulous 70's motorcycling era. Price: I'm open to offers, but please keep in mind that to purchase this kind of motorcycle project, you will have to spend probably around $1500 and to get it restored, you are looking for another 6-7k. So please no lowballing. I spend a considerate amount of time and invested lot of $ to do it right. Please ask any questions before committing to buy, also ebayers with out any feedback - contact me before purchasing this motorcycle, I reserve to cancel your bid if you do not. Title: Since this motorcycle was a barn find, there is NO title!!! I will provide a Bill Of Sale. Ebay does not allow to place bike there with no title, so even it say "clear" - I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE FOR THIS BIKE!! Thank you for looking.

I have for sale a 2008 Yamaha FZ-6 in perfect condition. It only as 3793 miles and was well taken care of. The bike is in excellent condition cosmetically and mechanically. I changed the oil and filter in early June and the battery was replaced in May. The blue color is amazing and is one of the best looking colors on a bike in person…I get comments all the time about it.If you are still trying to figure out which bike to buy, the FZ6 is really a jack of all trades. I find it perfect for getting around the city since you sit in a more relaxed stance than a lot of the other sport bikes. It has plenty of power off the start and really comes alive after 6000 RPM or so. Also, with the pipes running under the seat, there is virtually no way to burn yourself or your passenger. After 2007, the FZ6’s are fuel injected which is really nice, especially on colder mornings. One of the things not often advertised is how a bike rates for insurance. I had full coverage on this and was paying less than $200 a year. Some of my buddies with other bikes pay over $800 a year despite having good driving records. I am asking a fair price of $4000 and have a clear title in hand. I also have a newer motorcycle dolly (paid $90) and a Bike Barn still new in the box (paid $390 with shipping) that I would be willing to make generous deals on with the bike. See the links below the ad. I will be happy to answer any questions. I work mostly from home so I can be pretty flexible meeting with you if you are interested. Of course any test drives would require cash in hand. Dolly: :// /low-profile-motorcycle-dolly-95896.htmlCover: :// /model_standard.html

I am so tempted to buy this bike myself am listing for a good friend who is and has been a suzuki guy since the 70's, And He wants it to go to someone who will appreciate and not chop it up. Its all original barn find all he did was get it running and it runs super and rides great . Yes thats the original paint ect! its crazy the bike is 40 years old! super low miles the tires look about new and don't look weather cracked at all. Id say with a few hours elbow grease with mothers polish and chrome cleaner she would look pretty much new theres zero rust under the seat pan unheard of!, And yes you can see in the pics the aluminum will buff out with very little effort just minor corrosion with mothers it will shine like chrome!! there is some minor pitting on chrome id say most will come with with chrome polish. its like a time capsule. people who are looking at this now know exactly what this is they called these The giant killer why??? because they are super quick bikes and back in the day even the big honda 750's and kawasaki 900's feared these little devil 2 strokes lol. Price is more than fair. Really id enjoy buying this bike to put in my living room just to look at it . But what fun would it be to ride it to shows ect or just step back in time and ride it everyday. I bet you could even show some newer crotch rockets a thing or two lol. im 54 years old and remember when these awesome bikes were racing around. Shes sweet shes an awesome runner and she has a clear title, last on the road 1982 in NY shes in WI now .. You cant go wrong for the money . Shes pretty much like a new bike. I bet she'd even win a few trophies . Ask all questions before you buy. Need 250.00 non refundable deposit after purchase and rest in bank check or cash on pickup will work with your shipper on time for pickup.. Anyways im old school and so is friend im selling for. Hand shake and deal kinda guys . And once again boy does this bike look tempting, I just may end auction at anytime and buy it myself ? I reserve the right to end auction at anytime as word of mouth it may sell local. by me or someone else we know lol. you know you want her !! LOL I DO :)

Price Only !!!Any offer excepted below B.I.N. will NOT include free shipping.International Buyers Please Read Payment and Shipping Agreement Below These unique functional art pieces truly represent our passion for vintage cycles...(Please Read Disclaimer At Bottom Of Description) Here for your consideration is our latest Replica Tribute bike. This bike was designed and built to be reminiscent of an early 1900's Harley Davidson racer. This one of a kind build has many features of the iconic originals. Such as a hand crafted 16 gauge steel true split tank, low slung bars, race # plates, and even a "race pillow" atop the tank. A race pillow was a simplistic addition incorporated by the races of the day to make their ride just a bit more comfortable, around the hair raising tracks of that ear. All this put together and done in a "barn find" finish, completing the motif, look and feel of a vintage survivor. Please note that the # plates can and will be changed to any # the buyer wishes, Free Of Charge. This bike is 100% finished and ready for a new home. We road test all of our builds to ensure that they arrive tuned in, problem free and ready for the road ahead. Each bike is put to the test over a 3 day period and has roughly 30+ miles on the road before going up for sale.(this is why we list them as "USED") Bike is available for viewing at our shop for any local buyer to come take a look in person. If local and interested we would love for you to stop by and take a look. The Barn Find finish is something to behold in person. Though we do our very best to take as high quality photos as possible, photos just don't do it justice !!! For each different model one could count the total number of originals that have survived to date and not run short of Fingers and Toes. One of the last public Sales of one of these extremely rare original Bikes, (a 1912 HD), sold at action this past March 2015 for a tremendous... $236,500 !!!!!!! <---- That is NOT a Typo ! I don't know about you, but we sure can't afford those prices ! And even if we could we surly would Never ride a bike that rare and expensive. So, to quench our thirst and love for these timeless bikes we build Tribute Replicas. This we feel is the Closest and Next Best thing to being able to enjoy the wind in your hair on the back of your favorite vintage bike. Kick your leg over and roll back the throttle on one of these bikes and your taken back to those, truly Simpler times. At a fraction of the cost of the super rare originals, anyone that shares our passion for these timeless examples of motorcycling history can own and better yet enjoy riding there very own Tribute Replica. These bikes are crafted with NEW parts,(some factory and hand made), that are only finished to look old and worn. Each bike is a one off build. With fantastic MPG's from the 2 stroke motor, the joy of riding to the corner store or all the way across town is up to you. The extremely simplistic power plant is virtually maintenance free, only needing minor adjustments such as chain tension from time to time. Which is simply done with common hand tools. The great thing about this Moped style set up is that when you don't want to use the motor, bike functions just like an ordinary bicycle, and can go anywhere you wish to peddle it. When using the motor, bike can reach speeds up to around 35 mph, and with around 80 MPG the fun seemingly goes on forever. A commonly over looked benefit to 2 stroke motors,(gas and oil mixture), is the fact that they do not require motor oil and the use of an oil tank; though you may see nonfunctional oil tanks on some of our models only to replicate those on the original bikes. This means these bikes will never need an oil change and can never develop a messy dipping oil leak. Perfect for those that plan to not only display them but to also enjoy riding them.Safety First...We HIGHLY suggest draining all fuel from the bike before displaying them in a home, office or place of business !!!If purchasing for display only... Let us know and we will drain, rinse and thoroughly clean out the fuel tank, carb float bowl, and motor before shipping. We will do this Free Of Charge to ensure that it is done correctly and that the bike will not only be safe to display in Home, Office, or business, but also be completely free of all fumes and fuel smells. We pride ourselves in building our bikes not only to be eye catching art, but also to be completely functional and ride-able. You will find that all of our fuel tanks are hand crafted for each individual build. Building each tank by hand not only gives each bike a functional fuel tank, but also allows us to more accurately replicate the style of tank for each individual motif. Depending on the style, each one of our tanks hold at least 1 US Gallon, giving the rider a riding range under motor power of around 80 miles per tank. Each tank is hand crafted from scratch using high quality 16 gauge steel. Completely TIG welded and internally seal with a fuel tank sealer that protects the tank from internal rusting for years to come. In most of the U.S.A. these types of bikes are classified by the states DMV, (department of motor vehicles), as "Mopeds". Therefore they DO NOT require title, licensing or even a motorcycle endorsement! In most states the only requirements are that the rider is at least 16 yrs of age, with a valid drivers licence. However, check with your local DMV to be sure. So many people from different walks of life all seam to have a common draw to the timeless look and feel of these bikes. Many people like to ask questions and take a few photos, never a dull moment riding one of these around town ! As much fun as they are to ride, they are just as fantastic as a functional art peace for an office, den, or as that attention grabbing conversation piece for your/his man cave. They are also fantastic for promotional events or as an eye grabber for a store front. Have had a few customers order builds to be used as "PIT" bikes on track days, and other customers have ordered a few for RVing around the country. Also great as a compliment piece to ride in the bed of your classic truck. The best part is, at the car show pull out the bike and ride around to view and enjoy the other beautiful machines and people. What more fun and unique way can you think of to get around the pits, camp grounds, car shows or just cruise around town. These fun, one of a kind bikes can truly go anywhere and everywhere, and are sure to turn heads wherever they go. Over the past few years we have built quite a few of these fun bikes in many different styles and motifs. Though we love replicating the look and feel of the rare vintage originals, we are more then happy to build to a customers design. If looking for a great marketing or promotional piece for your Business we can incorporate your logo and overall company themes on a platform that is sure to draw attention ! . This 1963 Studebaker Avanti is an excellent, rust free survivor original, with 289 V-8, Power windows, Power disc brakes, and good California history going back to the 1980's, when the former owner, Charles Mylor owned it. The Vault Classic Cars dealership recently purchased it from the estate, and got it up, running and driving ! . Here is a video of the car as it is now, in action and operating! The car had been sitting, barn find style, in the former owner's driveway. We rescued it, and performed the necessary CPR. It Lives ! . It's all stock and authentic, with the Studebaker 289 R-1 V-8, Borg Warner automatic transmission, and Power steering, Power front disc brakes, Power windows, and full instrumentation including Tachometer. And a brand new Strato-View rear view mirror on the fender! . Excellent fiberglass, solid hog-troughs and frame. Good original chrome and stainless. . Brand new dual exhausts from manifold to exhaust tip. Brand new 15 inch whitewall tires. Current title, plate and registration with no back fees. . The brilliance of using fiberglass was the ability to make curves and surfaces that couldn't be done with steel. When you look at other 1963 automobiles, they're basically square boxes with some texturing / styling on the sides. The AVANTI, on the other hand, was curvy everywhere, and it was beautiful viewed from any angle ! . The original '63/64 Studebaker Avanti's had a rakish stance. The later ones, the Avanti II's and later, had to make room for the increased height of the Chevrolet Engine, so they just don't look right! . No Chevrolet here! This is the stock and original Studebaker 289 V-8, Running good ! Note the ignition shielding. I have the spark plug shields and they're included with the car but they're not installed right now. . The original interior ! It's held up pretty well! The carpeting is very tired, and I would think you would want to re-do the front seats, but overall amazingly good for original ! . The original back seat - clean, no rips or tears in the original Elk Vinyl. . Excellent original! I noticed that the console vinyl and the rear arm-rests appear to be died in the Elk color over Orange ( ! ) pieces. Orange was an Avanti interior color, but I don't understand why Orange would be here, in an obviously originally Elk interior. I guess I'll never know. . Nice original dash, with a couple of cracks showing. You'll also note the A/C vents. It appears the former owner was in the process of converting the car to A/C. I include the fan assembly and the console side panels with the car. There would still be quite a bit of work and parts needed to actually finish the A/C conversion. . All of those guages work properly except for the Tachometer. . . Nice original headliner, with padded "Roll Bar" . Note there's one little puncture in the headliner. . Nice Original doorpanels. . When bucket seats were really bucket seats! . Roof mounted headlight, instrument light and heater / defroster switches. Part of what makes the Avanti so cool ! . Trunk is pretty clean. When we got the car, it had a trunk mounted battery, which is now gone in favor of the correct 3EE 12 Volt "Suitcase" style battery under the hood. . Jack and jack crank in the spare tire well, and lugwrench in the special area off to the left. It is missing the spare tire and wheel. . New exhaust and solid frame! . Stock and authentic, the way it should be. . Another view of the 289 Studebaker R-1 V-8 . The right door had some unprofessional fiberglass repair. There are also 2 holes in the other door where a non-authentic mirror used to be. Other than that, the fiberglass on this car looks really good to me ! . There's the original Blue personalized plate, I'll also include the rear plate. The current plate on the car is a modern California white plate, shown in some of the other photos. . Sure it needs a paint job and some cleanup, but it's a really good, solid, easy to restore - and reasonably priced - authentic R-1 Avanti ! . Another great angle on the Avanti Styling! . A great profile ! . A good car! . Offered by the Vault Classic Cars Dealership, Anaheim, CA, call us at 714-401-1047 International customers are welcome to buy! We’ve sent many cars overseas. THERE IS NO COOLING OFF PERIOD UNLESS YOU OBTAIN A CONTRACT CANCELLATION OPTION. California law does not provide for a "cooling off" period for vehicle lease or purchase contracts. 1980 Suzuki RM 125T in great shape! Low hour barn find that was freshened up and is ready to ride or race!!! The bad stuff is that the pipe has a smaller that a dime size dent, the kick starter is a little sloppy, the air fork caps are a little mangled (still work just fine), and the choke knob doesn't stay up, but I have a clip to use for it, just take it off after it starts. Bike starts, runs, and rides great! Still has the original mud cover for the air box! Comes with some retro stickers... I just didn't want to take that "Brand New" look away from it. -- Lots of brand new parts to make it durable and race ready include: Brand new bars, levers, grips, chain and rear sprocket, forks rebuilt with new seals, dust covers and fresh 10wt oil, Belray gear lube, chain rollers, seat cover and plastics due to weather damage, and all new cables. Gas tank was painted with a quality plastic paint to match new plastics. All bolts were snugged down with locktite. Almost new parts installed was a Maxxis MS9 rear tire, Michelin S12 XC front tire (both in great shape), and a Uni air filter -- New parts the previous owner installed: Brand new piston and rings with a honed cylinder (looking into the exhaust port it looked like he never even fired it up before I bought it). -- Comes with a bill of sale from me and a copy of the bill of sale of the person I bought it from. No title. I did call the Oregon Sheriff's office and ran the frame number, it came back as "UTL" , unable to locate' any records for this bike.... a good thing :) -- I reserve the right to end the auction at any time until someone bids my reserve price or higher. I have it for sale locally as well. -- Buyer is responsible for all shipping. Must either be a local pick up or send a shipping company. I will not crate the bike. I will meet your shipping company locally and help load the bike if needed though.

I am the 2nd owner of this clear title 1978 KAWASAKI KZ-650 SR with factory corresponding D-1 frame and engine numbers, Frame-Off restoration & refurbishment, bike is 100% and runs strong, engine is original with no internal modifications or over-bores done, needs nothing except a new owner. This is not another supposed low mileage barn find that still has to have countless hours of labor plus the inevitable investment cost for new parts before it is actually operating correct and dependable again, as all that has already been done by a professional motorcycle technician. This motorcycle is a detailed, functional, and dependable daily rider that was built to operate and enjoy, this is not an exact restoration to all original factory specifications museum piece for viewing only. This historic motorcycle will still turns heads and start conversations every time you take the bike out for a ride. Includes but not limited to: hammer-finish black/brown powder coat frame and parts, polyurethane blue paint with pin stripe and clear coat flat fuel tank bearing a Kawasaki H2 type sticker, Dyna electronic ignition system, Dyna ignition super coils, Dyna 7mm spark plug wires, 4 into 1 Vance & Hines chrome exhaust system, Barnett racing clutch kit, DynoJet stage 3 carburetor kit, individual pod type K&N air filters, Speigler braided steel brake lines, EBS brake pads, Marine grade black vinyl hand-sewn seat, Pingel fuel valve, Pingel dragster handlebar, Progressive Suspension rear shocks and front fork kit, Shinko tires, Sunstar sprockets and chain, new battery, low mount mirrors, plenty of new fasteners, seals, gaskets, and rubber parts, a Clymer repair manual, and even an original Kawasaki factory service and repair manual. Buyer must pay all shipping costs from Tucson, Arizona USA contact me for additional information. I am asking 3,500 firm price for this motorcycle, please no trades, no low-ball offers, no test rides without cash in hand, cash or certified bank check only for payment in full, and no financing is available from the seller. No warranty or guarantee is offered or implied on this motorcycle by the seller, please inspect prior to purchase. Yes, I have all 4 of the original signal lights for the new owner, as they are not required under Arizona motor vehicle regulations, I left them off the bike. Yes, parts are available for this bike via Kawasaki dealerships, after-market suppliers, vendors online, and via Ebay. The availability of the 1970's era Kawasaki Z-series motorcycles has been steadily declining for many years, this is an opportunity to own a decent example. Please message me if you have any questions, if you prefer to speak over the telephone then leave a contact number and time of availability in your message.

I don’t deserve this bike and before it becomes somebody’s Barn Find years from now I’m going to put it back out in circulation. I had been thinking I’d might like to try an RT out, when last fall when this one came up locally … with the great condition, low miles and the price…. I jumped on it Under 5500 miles on the bike and less than 1000mi on the tires, the bike is in excellent condition and is ready to go cross-country now. Bike was dropped by a previous owner, (it is always a PO who’s done it) resulting in a couple of distracting scratches on the right side lower cowling and a 2.5” inch crack to the same cowling below the cylinder head (Crack has been secured). Includes both side cases, top box and radio harness/carriage. Side cases have a few scratches that I’ve tried to picture, but are pretty decent over all. Bike is located in Missouri City, TX near Houston. With 2 airports nearby, I would gladly assist with pick-up, making for a convenient fly and ride. Clear TX title in my name, on hand, ready to transfer. The bike runs and looks just like you would expect from a garage stored BMW with 5500 miles. Outside of the scratches (too deep to polish) & the crack on that right side fairing, body plastics are excellent....everything lines up like it should, all the hardware is there. No mechanical issues, everything works as it should including the ABS. No leaks, no smoking, no surprises, just a great running machine. The gentleman I purchased it from said he had bought it from a longtime acquaintance who was the original purchaser who after dumping it over essentially just didn't ride it much. Sorry to say I have no documented history of services performed. Though I was told that it had been serviced and the brake fluids flushed in its recent history. I also own 2009 BMW R1200 GSA and thought that a RT might be nice for two up riding. When this bike came up locally I figured it was a low risk way to try out an RT and it was. However we're not riding enough to justify keep both bikes and I prefer the GSA. Thanks for looking and feel free to call or txt for questions (281) 895-1718. Tom $500 deposit via PAYPAL due with 48hrs after auction close, balance due in cash or cashiers/bank check on pick-up.

Therefore, you cannot later cancel such a contract simply because you change your mind, decide the vehicle costs too much, or wish you had acquired a different vehicle. 1917 LOCOMOBILE PROJECT (THAT IS LOCO AS IN LOCOMOTIVE) THIS WAS ORIGINALLY A CALIFORNIA CAR, DURING THE 1970-80 PERIOD. IT WAS PAINTED CANARY YELLOW, AND DRIVEN IN SANTA ROSA , CA. PARADES BY ITS' THEN PHYSICIAN OWNER. IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE A SHOW CAR, BUT IT WAS FEATURED IN THE MOVIE " THE AMELIA EARHART STORY" DURING THE 1980S. THE PHYSICIAN PASSED , AND THE CARI CHANGED HANDS. THE MOTOR WAS REBUILT AND THE CAR WAS DRIVEN IN SEVERAL GREAT AMERICAN ROAD RACE EVENTS DURING THE EARLY 90S IT IS UNKNOWN WHEN THE CAR WAS REFITTED WITH THE SPEEDSTER BODY, BUT WE KNOW IT HAD BEEN FASHIONED OUT OF THE REAR SECTION OF A TOURING CAR. THE CAR WAS BROUGHT BACK EAST AND HAS BEEN IN STORAGE SINCE THEN. I RECENTLY REMOVED THE SPEEDSTER BODY IN ORDER TO REPLACE THE ROTTED WOOD FRAMING. ( IT IS OFF THE CAR NOW, ALONG WITH THE TWO DOORS WHICH WERE FITTED TO IT. IT WILL ALL GO WITH THE CAR IF DESIRED. THE DASH PLATE READS MODEL 38 LOT 2. NUMBER 13252.CAR - 139 1/4 INCH WHEEL BASE.- THE YEAR 1916 IS CAST INTO MOTOR BLOCK 523 CI SIX CYLINDER PRODUCES 43,5 HP AND MASSIVE TORQUE. HAS TWIN DISTRIBUTOR, TWIN SPARK PLUGS PER CYLINDER . WATER COOLED. IT HAS MANUAL TRANSMISSION WITH STANDARD. "H" PATTERN SHIFTER. ( LOCO DESIGN INNOVATION ) MANY YEARS AGO THE CLUTCH WAS REMOVED TO CLEAN THE PLATES, LININGS, BUT WAS NEVER RE-INSTALLED. ALL THE PARTS NECESSARY TO RE-INSTALL GO WITH THE CAR. I NEVER GOT IT BACK TOGETHER DUE TO MY JOB WORKING OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY FOR TEN YEARS. THE OVERDRIVE WILL PROPEL THIS CAR TO A TOP SPEED OF 78 MPH LOCOMOBILE WAS ONCE CONSIDERED THE MOST FASHIONABLE AND EXPENSIVE CAR BUILT IN THE AMERICA TOTALLY RARE NOW AS FEW WERE SOLD, PRE 1922 LOCOMOBILE HAD A PRODUCTION RATE OF FOUR PER DAY. BASICALLY THIS WAS A HAND MADE CAR WITH HAND PICKED PARTS. IT COST MORE THAN A ROLLS ROYCE OR A MODEST HOUSE AT THE TIME. .. AFTER TWENTY THREE YEARS OF OWNERSHIP, I NO LONGER HAVE TIME TO WORK ON THIS CAR AND IT jUST TAKES UP MY GARAGE SPACE. ( the new car sits outside) MY SONS WANT THE CAR, BUT THEY JUST SEE DOLLAR SIGNS. SO IT IS NOT IN THE CARDS. I AM PASSING IT ALONG AS A PROJECT/PARTS CAR TO BE SOLD "ÄS IS" "WHERE IS" IT HAS BEEN CRANKED REGULARLY BY HAND TO KEEP THE MOTOR LOOSE, BUT IS NOT A CURRENTLY RUNNING VEHICLE, NO FUEL TANK INSTALLED OR BATTERY. USED TIRES HAVE TREAD AND WILL HOLD AIR, BUT ROT CRACKING IS APPARENT. CAR CAN BE SAFELY TOWED./DOLLIED/ SHIPPED OR FLAT BEDDED. CAR IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN WATERTOWN, NEW YORK, 13601 ( UPSTATE, NY ONE HOUR NORTH OF SYRACUSE). THIS CAR IS TITRLESD AS A 1916, BUT I CAN ONLY FIND A PHOTO COPY OF THE ORIGINAL AND MY BILL OF SALE. IN NEW YORK A BILL OF SALE SUFFICES TO TRANSFER OWNERSHIP OF HISTORIC OLDER CARS, BUT I WILL SEE ABOUT OBTAINING A STANDARD DUPLICATE. THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF RELATIVELY COMPLETE RUNNABLE ORIGINAL MOTOR, COMPLETE DRIVE TRAIN, BASICALLY COMPLETE RUST FREE CHASSIS WITH ORIGINAL 34" INCH TIRES ARE VERY OLD. BUT ON SOLID WOOD WHEELS, THE RADIATOR HAS A SMALL PUNCTURE THAT NEEDS REPAIR. COWL IS THERE BUT WAS MODIFIED FOR THE SPEEDSTER BODY, I BELIEVE THE BRASS WINDSHIELD FRAMING, IS ORIGINAL. BUT CHOPPED, AND NO GLASS. READIATOR HAS A LOCOMOBILE SCRIPT BOYCE RADIATOR CAP. T HERE ARE SOME LOCOMOBILE BRAND OR OTHERWISE PERIOD GAUGES AND SWITCHES INSTALLED IN THE DASHBOARD, MOSTLY FOR COSMETICS. MECHANICAL BRAKES OPERATE REAR WHEELS. HAND BRAKE IS COMPLETE AND OPERATES. WIRING IS QUESTIONABLE. THE STEERING WHEEL COULD USE SOME TLC. HEADLAMPS HAVE A FEW DINGS. THE CAR HAS BEEN GARAGED SINCE I PURCHASED IT. THE MOTOR TURNS OVER FREELY AND HAS COMPRESSION, I TEST RAN THE MOTOR S HORTLY AFTER MY PURCHASE IN 1993. AND NO NOTICEABLE ISSUES OR NOISES WERE DETECTED, I BELIEVE THE MOTOR WILL START WITH A NEW BATTERY, FUEL. AND A TOUCH OF TLC IT HAS A BOTH A HAND CRANK AND ELECTRIC STARTER. IT WAS PREVIOUSLY CONVERTED TO ALTERNATOR CHARGING SYSTEM. I HAVE A FUEL TANK FOR IT, BUT IT IS NOT THE ORIGINAL. THIS CAR BEGS TO BE RE-BODIED. IT IS A FULL CCCA CLASSICS AND COULD POSSIBLY END UP IN A HIGH END AUCTION. I NEITHER HAVE THE MONEY, TIME OR INCLINATION FINISH IT. WHAT YOU SEE IN PHOTOS IS WHAT YOU WILL GET, ( MAYBE A LITTLE MORE, BUT NO LESS). NOTE THAT THE LOCOMOBILE COMPANY OF AMERICA FURNISHED ONLY THE CHASSIS TO ITS'' CUSTOMERS, AND WOULD SENT OUT A TEAM OF SIX MEN TO A CONTRACTED COACH BUILDER. TO HAVE IT FITTED TO THE CUSTOMER SPECS.. SO, EACH LOCOMOBILE BODY IS BASICALLY A VARIATION OF A STANDARD LOCO FACTORY DESIGN. THIS MAKES THE CHASSIS IS TECHNICALLY CORRECT FOR FITMENT OF ANY VARIETY OF BODY STYLES. LOCOMOBILE BODIES WERE FABRICATED USING ALUMINUM ALLOY OVER WOODEN FRAMING. PRE- 1922 OCOMOBILE CHASSIS INCORPORATED MANY PATENTED DESIGN FEATURES DEVELOPED BY THE STANLEY BROTHERS (STANLEY STEAMER). AS FAR AS I KNOW, EVERY MODEL AND VARIATION OF LOCOMOBILES MANUFACTURED PRIOR TO 1922 HAVE BEEN DESIGNATED AS CCCA FULL CLASSIC CARS... THIS IS NOT A BARN FIND. I PURCHASED IT FOR BIG BUCK IT IN A MASSIVE CAR WHICH MOST PEOPLE THINK IS A FIRE ENGINE. I'M GUESSING ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BODY STYLE, BUT MOST LIKELY THE CAR BEGAN LIFE AS A FOUR DOOR CAR. I THINK A PROFESSIONAL FABRICATION SHOP COULD TURN THIS CAR INTO A BEAUTY IN VERY LITTLE TIME THE POTNTIAL IS FOR LOCOMOBILE CARS CARS TO SELL INTO SIX FIGURES. THIS CARS CURRENT VALUE CAN ONLY BE DETERMINED BY THE BIDS, SO PLEASE DON;T BE RUDE AND/OR BULLY ME ABOUT PRICING.. SEND ME YOUR REASONABLE OFFERS AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS, I'M NOT IN ANY WAY DESPERATE TO GIVE THE CAR AWAY, BUT IT MUST GO VERY SOON. THE BID PRICE ESTABLISHES THE WINNING BID PAY NO MORE OR NO LESS. low miles, extra chrome, nice pipes, great look, great price You wouldn?t be surprised to unearth a beauty like the Heritage Softail Classic under a dusty cloth in Grandpa?s barn. With studded leather bags, big fenders, giant chrome headlight and passing lamps. For the rider who dreams of classic style, there could be nothing better. But those seeking a modern-day machine will also find this an ideal ride. See the Twin Cam 88B engine for evidence. It?s eighty-eight cubic inches of refined internal combustion. We rigid-mounted it, but two ingenious counterbalancers cancel out all but the good vibrations. Choose it with carb or EFI. There?s a hidden rear suspension. Wire-laced wheels inside blackwall tires.
