All stock Benelli Tornado. Has undergone careful cosmetic restoration including new clutch, top-end, seals, charging system, front fork seals and steering stem bearings. Rides on original Borrani wheels with new Metzeler tires for period look. Original La Franconi exhaust and original Dellorto square slide carbs. New paint matching original scheme. All work done by reputable Guzzi/Ducati mechanic. Tach and speedo recently rebuilt by North Hollywood Speedometer and Clock. Speedo works, tach functional but not working due to lack of proper cable. Clean good running bike with expected issues for a 42 year-old. It is a right-side shift bike with original points ignition. Some minor oil leak around countershaft seal. It doesn't leak when sitting, but will leave about a quarter size spot after running. The bike has an electric starter. The starter and button are all there and functional, but the starter was designed with a weak sprag clutch that I stopped replacing after a few failures. So electric starter not working, but it starts easily with one or two kicks (see video). See history and more info at http://benellitornado650.blogspot.com/ . See it start and run at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suGoclgBKbs Sale includes spare seat (more comfortable than original), NOS brake shoes for front and back drums, a few spare oil filters and a box of other miscellaneous parts. Will also come with an Electronik-Sachse electronic ignition made specifically for this model that was never installed because points ignition is currently running fine.

Very Original Parallel Twin Cylinder Original Tool Kit MotoeXotica is pleased to announce our latest addition, a virtually new 1975 Benelli Tornado 650S with only 60 miles on the clock in running condition. Operating out of the oldest European motorcycle factory, in non-continuous production; Benelli has produced some of the world’s greatest touring motorcycles. Matriarch, Teresa Benelli invested all of her recently departed husband’s savings in to founding Benelli Garage. Initially her intensions were to keep her six sons out of trouble with stable work, by repairing bicycles and motorcycles. In 1921 the Benelli Garage offered their first motorcycle with their own built in-house engine, a 93cc two-stroke. Mrs. Benelli’s youngest son Torino Benelli became a successful motorcycle racer on his family’s motorcycles, earning the Benelli brand a reputation in development and performance. Continuing their success after WWII, Benelli fulfilled the Italian need for cheap and lightweight transportation by offering a range of models that where inexpensive and nimble. By 1969 Benelli offered their first model intended for the American and English markets, the Tornado 650S. This model soon earned a reputation of being extremely reliable and performance driven with a claimed top speed of 117mph. The Tornado was intended to be the Italian version on the English the Vincent’s, Norton’s, and Triumph’s. In extremely pristine condition this Benelli Tornado 650S is a perfect showpiece for Benelli’s unique Italian design and build quality. Indicated on the odometer, this Benelli has only registered 60 miles! Painted in its original a yellow and black color scheme this motorcycle looks amazing. The paint is original and in ideal condition, only very minor imperfections can be found; but are negligible for original 40 year-old motorcycle. Every chrome and stainless steel accessory is original and in very good condition, almost no aging can be found. A black banana seat allows the rider have a comfortable and relaxing experience, with a natural riding position. Under the seat the original red tool kit is still in place with every tool being accounted for. Original handlebars and Veglia gauges are in excellent condition, the handlebars still retain the factory hand grips too. Front and rear turn indicators work along with the original headlight and taillight too. Mechanically this Tornado 650S is powered by a Benelli 650cc parallel-twin four-stroke with overhead valves. The Benelli factory claimed this air-cooled engine produced 57hp and was capable of propelling this motorcycle 117mph. This was due to Benelli’s engine design being much more advanced than other manufacturers. Suspension is handled by Marzocchi tele-hydraulic front forks and an adjustable rear swing arm. Drum brakes in both front and back help halt this motorcycles immense power and speed. Finally the Metzeler tires are in good condition, with hardly any noticeable road wear. It should be noted that this motorcycle was never been titled. It will be sold on Bill of Sale, with the original manufacturer’s statement of origin (MSO) in hand. What are you waiting for? This is your chance to buy a 1975 Benelli Tornado 650S, basically new, and be the new owner to own this wonderful Italian touring motorcycle! Making this Benelli a perfect candidate for a showpiece any motorcycle collector who cherishes original motorcycles will envy. GET OUT AND RIDE!!! MILES: 60 WE BUY CARS AND MOTORCYCLES! Turismo Veloce is the boldest bike ever made by MV Agusta. This time we didn't take our inspiration from our 75 world titles or our legendary riders to set new speed or power records. We did, however, accept a challenge that was perhaps even more difficult, at least for us who feel at home on the track and are often the first to see the chequered flag flying: to make an MV Agusta touring bike The fact that it is also "Veloce" (fast) is the natural consequence. We offer finance up to 84 months and as low as $0 down payment (qualified customers) for Aprilia, BMW, Triumph, Benelli, Bimota, Ducati, Harley Davidson, MV Agusta and Vespa Piaggio. We can assist you finding a Bank for Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki (GSXR, CBR, R6, R1, Ninja etc). Here at Unique Superbikes you will find your next exotic motorcycle, located in the heart of Miami, we are the Official Franchise Dealer for APRILIA, MOTO GUZZI and MV AGUSTA.

The Moto Guzzi "small block" 90-degree V-Twin, a.k.a. the V7, has a long story behind it. The engine started life in 1977 in the V35 and V50, with 350 and 500cc displacements. Plagued by a number of basic faults forced into the project by then-Moto Guzzi and Benelli chieftain Alejandro DeTomaso, the compact Twin reached positive maturity when it was enlarged to 650 and later 750cc. Never a high-powered engine, the Moto Guzzi V7's strong points lay in its compactness and light weight. When Piaggio took over, major development work was concentrated on the legendary "big block." But it was quickly realized that the V7 still retained good marketing potential as an "entry-level unit with great personality" once it could be fitted to a properly styled family of accessibly priced models.Everything to make that happen was already on the shelves: a fuel-injected evolution of the 750cc V7 unit, a classic-looking steel tube double-cradle frame, and the same tank and seat created back in the early '70s for the legendary V7 Sport. The new V7 family of models was an instant success by today's Moto Guzzi standards and, above all, proved worth the investment required to refurbish its dated components, starting with the engine. The V7 induction system has been completely revised, going to a single Y-shaped 38mm throttle body that splits into two 36mm runners, each with an individual injector, leading to larger valves. The single throttle body inhales much cooler air than its previous counterpart, thanks to the relocation of the airbox to a more rational and efficient position. The result is more efficient filling of each cylinder through the whole range of usable revs, starting from as low as 2000 rpm. The V7 has also received new lighter, stronger pistons sporting thinner, low-friction rings, and a vastly redesigned Heron-type combustion chamber that bumps compression ratio from a too-mild 9.2:1 to a more credible 10.2:1. This required larger fins at the heads and cylinders for increased cooling, resulting in a stronger look for the whole unit. More importantly, the revised V7 delivers performance that I would definitely describe as much more rewarding, even beyond the Moto Guzzi-issued numbers of 51 horsepower at 6200 rpm and 42.8 foot-pounds torque at 5000 rpm. Nothing fazes it. Never a need for mid corner corrections; goes where it's pointed PERIOD. Has to be experienced to understand. Had been looking for "the one" and when this came up & after speaking to the previous owner, I knew I had to have it. Purchased in May of 2012 from a level 2 Honda mechanic, flew up to Sacramento and dead headed back to Palm Springs with nary a hiccup.
