I purchased this motorcycle from the builder in Wichita, here is his original listing: Bike is located in Lyons Kansas. TITLED AS ASSEMBLED VEHICLE, NOT TITLED AS A BIG DOG! CHECK WITH YOUR BANK BEFORE BIDDING. Please read the entire description before bidding. This bike is somewhat unique compared to the 2009-11 Big Dog Wolf models: If you are familiar with Big Dog Motorcycles, then you are probably already aware that the last year that the Big Dog Wolf was manufactured by the factory was in 2011. I worked for Big Dog at the factory in Wichita Kansas for over 10 years and have built a handful of special construction bikes during that time frame. This bike was built from the ground up just this past year for a political figure in the Bahaman Islands that dropped almost $50,000 building this bike to his specifications, but 2 days before delivery he decided he did not want the bike due to relocation to Europe and I am now offering it up for sale. Although this bike was built with all OEM parts and built to factory specifications (with the exception of the larger 132ci motor & special paint), it is not titled as a “Big Dog Motorcycle”. It is a “Special Construction” bike and will appear on the title as an “ASVE” (or/ Assembled Vehicle). The chassis is based on the 2009-11 Wolf frame. There were 156 Big Dog Wolfs made between 2009-11. This bike is built on a factory production frame that was left over from production when Big Dog closed in 2011. The frame has a backbone stretch of +6” and the down tube is -1” under stock. The overall frame tube diameter is 1-1/2 with the exception of the front single down tube measuring 2” in diameter. The Wheels are chrome plated with a chrome Drive Side Brake set up by Performance Machine and a matching chrome 1-1/8 Drive Pulley. The brake rotors are 2 piece floating discs and are also chrome plated and cut to match the wheel & pulley design. The rear suspension uses 11.5” adjustable shocks by Progressive (w/ 1150lb springs). The engine is the big upgrade on this bike. All of the production Big Dog bikes ran the S&S 121ci X-Wedge motor. When this bike was built, the buyer forked out over $13,000 this year to drop a 132 motor in this bike. Due to the different degree clocking of the engine on the 121, I had to make slight frame modifications to shoe horn this beast into the frame, but it was worth every bit of the work!! The stock 121 was a 4-1/8 bore & 4-1/8 stroke. This 132 has a 4-1/8 stroke and was bored out to 4-1/4”. The intake & fuel system is the S&S Electronic Fuel Injection Set up. The ECM computer on the bike is “unlocked” (unlike the factory Wolf ECM which is “locked”) so you can change software and tune the bike however you want (software & box file will come with the bike). The exhaust System is also updated to the Vance & Hines Performance Big Radius 2-2 system. The Transmission & Drive Train is the Baker DSSC Right Side Drive set up from Big Dog (BDM Balance Drive). The transmission is fully polished and is a 6 speed gear set up. Other things worth mentioning are; the seat was covered in black shark skin leather. – The paint job is not a factory color or graphic (see pics). The paint color is called “Stormy Blue” and is a two tone metallic paint that reflects different tones in sun light & shadow (I do have the paint code). Everything on this bike has been set up equivalent to the OEM factory specs. The bike WAS built correctly with great attention to detail. It is not some backyard slapped together POS (and I imagine you have also seen your fair share of shit boxes if you know what I mean). The bike has 9 miles on it now (plan on it having around 50 before delivery as I want to make sure everything is stable) and the engine will not be fully broken in until the 2500-3000 mile range is obtained. It will need its first service at the 500 mile mark. I do have a list of the routine maintenance schedules as well as the factory repair manuals if you plan on doing the work yourself. Or it can be serviced at any Big Dog dealership or service center just like any other Big Dog. More bike details….. · Rear Wheel : 7” x 20” Rim (220/50R-20 Avon Cobra Tire) · Front Wheel: 3.75” x 23” Rim (130/60R-23 Avon Cobra Tire) · 35 degree neck rake & 5 degree tree rake = 40 degree over all rake angle · Fuel Tank Capacity: Approx 4.1 Gallons · Fenders and fuel tank are all steel (not the early fiberglass style) · Goodridge Steel Braided Oil & Brake Lines · Streamline Chrome Headlight · Chrome Signal Housings with LED Brake & Signal Lights · Barnett Steel Braided Clutch & Throttle Cables (with clear coated cover) · 40 Amp Charging System · Performance Machine 4 Piston Chrome Brake Calipers (front & back) · Multi Function Gauge with digital/needle swap out between tachometer & speedometer · Performance Machine Differential Bore Brake Calipers · Internal Compression Releases · 41mm Chrome Telescopic Sleeved Front End IMPORTANT NOTE: The front end on he bike is used. Its in good mechanical shape, but the chrome has some wear on it. This was the way it was brought to me when he dropped the roller off for the assembly, so it is what it is. Bid accordingly.
