2000 BMW R 1150 GS, Due to changing work conditions, the time has come to part ways with this incredible 2000 R 1150GS ABS. This is a two owner bike, it was acquired with 13.500 miles of Sunday good weather riding on the odometer. Being a pilot, lucky enough to have earned a living flying the Pacific for the last few years, I have come to LA a couple of times a month during this time. Once there, this pampered GS has been waiting under a bike cover in valet parking at the crew hotel, ready to take me out to camp out under the stars around SoCal, up to Death Valley, the Sierra Nevada, Los Padres and elsewhere. It has only very occasionally been off the tarmac and only once had a little "rest" on it's side (the embarrassing moment where I laid it down from standing absolutely still - fortunately without a scratch, and nobody saw me;-)) I have enjoyed pampering it and have installed a number of farkles over the years, making the bike that extra bit special. The bike has 30.481 genuine miles and has been regularly serviced with a fresh 12.000 mile service completed 150 miles ago. The bike has OEM heated hand-grips and is ready to take you wherever you want to go. It is ideally located for a fly and ride, being only minutes from LAX airport. New Metzeler Karoo 3 on the rear and about half life on the front.
