I have for sale my low mileage 2006 BMW F650GS Dakar. I just had the 6000 mile check up from San Francisco BMW completed a couple of days ago, which cost $680, and she has a clean bill of health. I had this done early so the new owner would not have deal with taking it in to get this done right after purchasing it. They replaced the brake pads, flushed fluid, changed the oil and filter, lubed and adjusted the chain, and checked the tension on all the crucial bolts and everything else that is done on a 6000 mile check up. The bike has heidenau k60 scout tires with I'm guessing around 40% of life left or longer on these long-wearing tires. The body has some minor nicks in the paint and plastic from normal road use. It has never been dropped and never been taken off road (other than a dirt road to take the pictures shown). She has a long life ahead of her and I'm sad that I must part ways.
