For Sale: A solid old Airhead recently re-activated after several years in storage. I purchased it as a project two years ago. The bike has an indicated mileage of 4449; however, I am not certain if that is accurate. It runs much stronger than my other 1983 R80RT which has 148,000 miles so perhaps it is a low mileage bike. I have only ridden it about 1500 miles and it runs great. As may be noted in the photos, the fairing has been removed and the bike resembles an R80. It could be returned to an RT if desired, since I will include most of the necessary parts (some of the parts were used on my other R80RT. A windshield will be included if the buyer wants to leave it as an R80. Although a classic bike, it has many new parts: Tires, Mufflers, Battery, Carb Kits, Steel Brake Lines, Right Handlebar Controls, Brake Caliper Kits, Red and White Paint. Price: $3000 negotiable. I will deliver it a reasonable distance for a reasonable fee to be negotiated.
