R100 Nikasil cylinders, and pistons, Deves rings, big valve heads, valves had proper valve grind, 44mm bing carbs, etc. The transmission was rebuilt some time ago, (30K, 50K?) I don't remember exactly, but it shifts perfect, no noise. the drive was rebuilt about 15k ago. All suspension was rebuilt and set up for a loaded bike 3k ago. just installed a new Gel-cell battery. At some point the frame was powder coated. Spare parts and tools are stashed and hidden all over the bike. I haven't even driven on the new Twinduro tires. 1994 BMW R100GS WITH COLLISION DAMAGE. Damage: Bike arrived with a damaged gas tank, handle bars, and side covers had scratches. I purchased new OEM handle bars from BMW and was lucky to find a really nice gas tank and side covers in color right here on EBay. Engine runs great, however the front end is out of alignment. I am not sure what exactly is bent? This bike appears to have been well cared for as you can from the pics. Equipped: Corbin seat, PIAA lights, one side bag, Metzler tires with plenty of tread left. Super clean 1988 BMW R100 GS. This GS has only covered 16,192 miles. The bike is in fantastic un restored condition, there are a few nicks and scratches but over all the bike looks great. All original no after market parts other than hand guards. Everything on the bike works as it should, all the lights, turn signals, brake light and all lights on dash work. The bike starts up first try and runs like a old airhead should. I purchased the bike to turn into a PD look alike, but I think it is to nice to do that with. This bike runs beautifully and has had a major overhaul. New parts include: BMW R100 custom stainless steel exhaust, new stainless steel spokes and wheel bearings. The rims are powder coated. It also has a Brembo front master cylinder, new brake pads, caliper seals, and a Spiegler brake hose. It has new Dellorto Carbs and the following seals are new; all shift seals, fork seals, and swingarm seals. It has new Avon tires and a Corbin seat. All hardware is stainless steel. Bumble Bee! This 1988 R100GS is in excellent shape both mechanically and cosmetically. One of the most desirable R100GS years and color out there, this one is sure to turn heads and take you wherever you want to go. This bike came to us from FL and was in relatively nice shape. We did some work to it to bring it up to speed and make it something that really stood out.The bike received a new Ohlins rear shock, new OEM handguards in black, new front fender, new decal for the windscreen, and new steering head bearings.On top of that we did a full "airhead annual service." This bike is truly ready to go anywhere. Leakdown measured in at 6% and 2%, well within spec. New fuel lines, new fuel cap and lock, new fork oil, engine oil and filter, drive oil, brake fluid.
This is a nice unrestored R100GSPD. She has lots of vintage eh..., "character" (looks used but not abused). It has been serviced through MAX since 2012 and well cared for. We have just put brand new TKC80 tires on it and it has an upgraded Fox shock and front suspension. The engine passed both leak down (2%) and compression tests (150/160psi) with flying colors and it runs nice and strong. The speedometer/odometer has been repaired and reflects the correct mileage on the bike now.These bikes are getting harder and harder to find and there competence and simplicity still make them a good choice as an everyday rider. This bike should keep you smiling for years to come.
This BMW is absolutely like new with less than 3k miles. This bike has the HP performance pkg with HP rearsets, Akropavic exhaust, quickshifter, and carbon fiber rear seat cowl, tank panel, and front fender. This K1300S also has ABS, ASC, ESA, TPM, Heated Grips, ON Board Computer, and hyperlites LED running lights for safety. Still under factory BMW warranty.
