I've been riding motorcycles since 1968 and it's time to slow down a bit. This 2004 BMW R1100S ABS model was purchased in September of 2014 at which time the bike had 4,487 miles on it and I technically became the 3rd owner. (I say technically because the second owner never rode it!) It was my 18th BMW motorcycle and immediately became one of my favorites. It is quick and nimble and definitely not for beginning riders. It was in very nice condition when I got it but since I was doing a "fly & drive" from Knoxville to Pittsburgh it was treated to a complete fairing off cleanup with full BMW Spec-2 service by BMW of Alcoa, including fuel filters, air filter, new plugs, valve adjustment, fuel injection clean, new BMW Gel battery and a new set of Metzler Z6 tires. I have conservatively accessorized the bike with a Sargent Worldsport performance seat, smoke grey sport windscreen (with available Cee Bailey touring windscreen) narrower BMW OEM City Lids, an accessory socket for heated riding gear/battery tenders, engine cylinder head guards, and barbacks to raise standard height bars for a more comfortable riding position. This motorcycle is complete in every way down to factory decals and warnings. The tool set is absolutely complete. It comes with 2 sets of keys and all the original owner's manuals, factory service manual and a BMW soft cover. Please see my photos to get an idea of its thorough present condition. It runs, shifts and brakes perfectly, is turn key, needs nothing. This motorcycle is sold as-is where is, available for inspection but no test pilots. Shipping arrangements or pickup are responsibility of the buyer but I will be available to hand off the motorcycle to your shipper at my residence. I expect $500.00 deposit within 48hrs of close of auction. You can pay the balance within 7 days via cash at pickup, certified bank check or personal check with a hold while funds clear my bank. If required I will send signed off title to the buyer along with owners manuals and receipts once final payment has cleared my bank account. I can store the bike for up to 30 days while you arrange shipment or pickup. 2004 BMW R1100S Motorcycle (Pacific Blue color). This USED bike is in excellent condition - mechanically and otherwise. It is a good sized, powerful and fast bike. I am the 2nd owner with a clear title on hand, and have had it since Feb 2014. Had the 24k mile service performed last fall and is currently inspected thru 10/2015 (PA). Bike has NEVER been dropped or involved in an accident. Bike has the usual scratches, nicks and chips at some places due to road debris in line with its use over time. The previous owner had it for 10 years and has performed all necessary service and maintenance during that time. For sale is my mint condition BMW R1100S ABS Light - all original - show room clean! There were only 150 of the Light version of the R1100S ABS made. What made them different was all black bike with blacked out engine / trans (not heads), Carbon Fiber body components (front fender, belly pan, head light surround, rear seat cover, rear shock cover, heel plates, etc), center stand delete (side stand only), upgraded suspension from the factory, steering stabilizer, wider rear wheel (5.5 inch), etc. This bike has been babied since new with getting only around 1k miles per year and living its life in doors and always out of any bad weather. There is NO other R1100S ABS Light that is this nice, let alone original. Recent work done to this bike was new tires, new battery and all fluids changed, valves checked, drive shaft and splines inspected and lubed. This bike is ready to ride across the country and back! With 15k miles, the boxer engine is not even broken in yet. Everything on this bike works as it should,ABS brakes, etc and rides like a dream. If you are looking for a BMW - this is the bike you want! Truly one of a kind in condition and care. Only reason for selling is my riding style is going more the way of adventure or sport touring.
