The R1200GSA is a bike that needs no introduction. It has dominated and redefined the adventure-touring market year after year and shows no signs of stopping. This 2006 model is a beautiful low-mile example that is too good to pass up.We know this bike well as it was sold here new in 2006. It was brought in routinely for services and babied by its one and only owner. The bike looked perfect when it came in; however our technicians have an eagle's eye for detail, so they did note it was in need of tires and a service. We had them perform a full annual service, ABS bleed, final drive and transmission oil change, and had them wrap the wheels in a fresh set of Metzeler Tourance tires. Per standard procedure, we sent the bike through the MD Safety Inspection as well as our Pre-Purchase Inspection to assure that it is ADVANTAGE CERTIFIED and ready for the road!
With only 38 miles; this is a bike that fits more in the "pre-owned" category than "used". To make a long story short: the single owner of this bike never got a chance to ride it before needing to get rid of it. That means the few miles that are on the machine were put on by the tech that initially built the bike and our tech when we brought the bike in. This means that you have the ability to get yourself onto a might-as-well-be-new 2015 R1200GSA at a steal of a price.
2013 marked the 90th anniversary of the BMW "boxer" opposed twin motor. To commemorate this; BMW released a limited number of special editions in the RT, R, and GSA models. Along with being fully loaded from the factory, these models wore a beautiful Sapphire Black Metallic paired with matte black/gold accents, graphite engine, drivetrain, and frame, and an exclusive brass emblem on the fork bridge. This 90th anniversary R1200RT was purchased here and owned by one of our own; so it's safe to say we know this bike well! In his time with the machine he added the stylish 28l top case, knee pads, side case scuff buffers, sidestand foot, cylinder guards, saddlebag reflectors, and a brake pedal extension. As noted before this was a fully loaded model which included ESA II, heated grips and seats, bluetooth, cruise control, ASC, and much more!
