This frame off custom BMW R100 began as a 1978 BMW R80/7 and was designed to maintain the classic styling of pre-war BMW racing motorcycles while having the performance and handling of a more modern machine. To achieve this, the engine has milled heads, higher compression and dual plugging; giving it a bit more power and torque with reliability. The clutch and transmission are completely rebuilt to stock specifications. There is a longer rear drive on the machine to allow for lower revs at highway speeds given the 1,000cc engine. The front forks have been built with Racetech cartridge emulators which provide more predictable, stable handling combined with Hagon rear shocks. It has a midly aggressive riding position with clip on handlabrs but the bike is comfortable for 100 mile runs through the country. Much of the aesthetic was borrowed from the /5 series BMWs, the gas tank, side covers, seat, forks, front drum hub wheel and brake, tail light and turn indicators, knurled /5 polished levers, switch gear controls are from this classic generation and style. The bike has a motogadget instrument (made in germany) and Hoske replica silencers. It has a very deep, throaty sound without being too loud. Gloss black paint and hand pinstriped in BMW off-white on the fenders and gas tank with BMW factory tank knee pads finish off the look of this incredible classic motorcycle. No expense has been spared in the design and construction, full stainless steel hardware even in places you can't see. The look, feel, sound and ride experience of this bike is pretty desirable. The feel is long, low and lean; timeless. This bike was built by Darrell Faulkenberry (Owner of Second Wind) and belongs to one of our staff.

2010 Bmw R 1200 GS Adventure, Wondful condtion R1200GSA with BMW Bags and TKC80s! - This GSA is equipped with ABS, ESA, ASC, fog lights, extra accessory socket, top case mount, and Touratech headlight guard. A well cared for machine that is set up and ready for anything! Wherever you are, get ready for it: Whether taking a quick trip to the nearest mountains or setting off for a different continent to discover faraway new cultures. Range is not a problem with a tank capacity of 33 liters. Robustness? The G 1200 GS Adventure looks as if it had invented the term - and it certainly has defined it in the motorcycle world. This is partly due to the range of features which have become almost as legendary as the bike itself. On this machine you can take potholes with 20 millimeters more clearance than on the R 1200 GS. Perfect ergonomics, optimum gearing for every terrain. And a chassis which - whether fully loaded or not - will allow you to thrill your pillion passenger as well as surprise anyone ahead of you. Stone chip? Falls? Protectors! Ride on! The special equipment features off-road ESA and ASC continue to be unsurpassed. Unstoppable is their motto. The bike’s unstoppable character is further enhanced with the new DOHC engine, which first displayed its impressive performance in the legendary HP2 Sport. For the R 1200 GS Adventure, torque was given higher priority than output in line with practical considerations. And you can feel it. 120 Newton meters at the peak at 6,000 revolutions per minute is one thing, but the consistently higher level of torque in the relevant range up to 5,000 revolutions per minute can be fully experienced. The output has been increased to 81 kilowatts (110 brake horsepower) at 7,750 revolutions per minute). The supreme riding pleasure is underscored by a powerful sound from the new exhaust system with exhaust flap which will everyone will love – so take a test ride now!
