The combustion chamber shape was precisely engineered to direct the fuel/air charge to the center of the piston for more efficient combustion and maximum power. Ceramic-composite-plated cylinders provide excellent heat dissipation and reduced oil consumption. A newly designed double-cradle frame enhances city riding enjoyment. The engine is mounted to the frame as a stressed member with a rigid mount system that provides precise handling. Newly designed 12-spoke cast wheels are used to provide strength and toughness. Up for sale is my 1999 ducati 996 SPS limited edition. This is a very clean, near mint condition example of a 1999 Ducati 996 SPS with only 16K miles. Recent service included valve adjustment, belts inspection, shock and fork service, and overall shakedown. New Bridgestone Battlax 016 tires (I have only ridden the bike 50 miles since I got it in late November 2012). Again, this bike is an extremely clean condition, adult owned and has never been raced or dropped. I'm only selling it to help fund another project that I am finishing up, that's why it's priced to sell. Clean title in hand ready for the new owner! This bike is in super clean, in excellent working order and runs strong! Please ask any questions that you may have. Will consider reasonable, respectful and serious offers, but please lets not waste our time with some ridiculous lowball dream.
