When we found this machine, it had very few miles....let alone "racing" miles. The owner used it to race around his backyard. It was the Standard Polished gas tank with the Purple cross stripe on the tank. We decided to make it into a real classic BSA muscle machine. We replaced the steel fenders with fibre....powder coated the exhaust pipe and discarded all the muffler and leg protectors for same. They looked like an egg carton. New seat, new rubber, new chrome and polish where needed, a super tuneup and "Bingo" it's done. What a great looking piece of BSA history. Note the large rear sprocket? For those riders who demand wheel stands off the dirt. It starts and runs great! Go ahead and make a fair offer.....we might except it. Thank you, JC WE WILL NOT ACCEPT OFFERS FROM EBAY MEMBERS WITH (0) FEEDBACKS, AND OR MEMBERS WHO HAVE JUST ENROLLED IN EBAY WITHIN THE PAST TWO WEEKS.

1964 BSA Star Fire 250 , 1964 BSA C15 S Starfire Scrambler project. This is a rare find, its a genuine factory built 250 Starfire scrambler, not a home brewed C15 road bike conversion Its exactly as I got it. Good starter. It kicks over with strong compression and selects gears It looks to be in very original condition apart from the cut down mudguards and missing rear light and chainguard The carb slide moves on the twistgrip and the clutch and brakes operate The engine is stamped as a C15S It is in good condition, and will make a nice project. It has the heavyweight forks, folding footrests, alloy tank, energy transfer ignition, and the 6" headlight, single seat which are all genuine features. I have ply and would ship anywhere. $2,500.00

Time to let someone else enjoy my classic. Just turned 70 and can't ride a motorcycle anymore- doctor's orders. Too shakey, replacement hip joint, ruptured back disc. This old Vietnam Vet is shot to heck. Don't want the bike to just sit in the garage, let it pass to someone who will enjoy it. This is THE 305 Scrambler to have as it is the eye catching Honda Scarlet (red) and silver. I had the far more common Black and silver bike back in 1965 as a kid in the Air Force. I would estimate that only 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 of the 305 Scramblers were the red and silver, by far there were a lot more of the less flashy black and silver bikes. And so it is today. The bike that gets the stares, the bike that get the raves is the red and silver. It is THE ONE to have, colorwise. And original red and silvers will bring the highest money. Look at the pictures and tell me the red and silver isn't the best color combination. And, they don't grow on trees. I have had this bike about 10 years. Came from a museum in Kansas. I have some receipts. The cylinder head was bored (350 Wisco Kit? I can't prove it.) and new pistons, bearings, chain, etc. done. Top end is quiet because of the money spent. IT NEEDS CLUTCHwork. It is drivable, I have put about 200 miles on it over the last decade. Email me and I'll discuss the work needed which will cost about $400 estimated by Honda expert and friend of mine, Bill Silvers who wrote the Honda Buyer's Guide for Motorbooks a few years back. I HAVE ADJUSTED MY PRICE $500 DOWN TO GIVE YOU THE ROOM TO HAVE THE CLUTCHWORK DONE AND HAVE A PAINTSHOP TOUCH UP MINOR SCRATCHES ON THE TANK AND REAR FENDER AND ONE FRONT FORK. I also include a box full of used parts to include a complete clutchbasket for any needed spare parts and no charge with the bike. Extra carbs, rare seamed gas tank and more. Free with the bike at the Buy It Now Price. I am not one to take advantage of a buyer, please email for any further details. This bike is a nice piece, not perfect, but about a 95 out of 100, points Show. Could be 98 or 99 with very little expense, but then it is not something you want to ride--and riding this bike brings back memories of that deep bass exhaust roar with the Snuff-Or-Nots wide open. That sounds on these Scramblers is what MADE HONDA in the 1960's. Once you heard it, you will never forget it. Music. That scared Harley, Triumph, BSA, and Lambretta owners! This is a nice bike. I put expensive electronic ignition on it and what a difference that made for the better. I live at 5,000 feet and gas here is crap. It has so much alcohol in it I have had to have the carbs cleaned of a white residue twice in 4 years of living here. I had the carbs cleaned last fall and the tank is mostly empty and the maintenance free battery was new 2 years ago and has been kept on a Battery Tender. I have a pigtail that comes out from under the seat so the battery can be charged without removing the seat. The bike should start and run with the addition of new gas. Tires are matched and excellent. Tool kit under seat. Here is why my price is very fair. Much NOS was obtained for this bike 20 years ago. The chrome on the rims front and rear is gorgeous. NO PITS from standing water like happens to these rims. Are they NOS from when the museum did the bike in the 1990's? I don't have proof, but they sure look NOS. The horn is NOS, taillight, chain, and a few other parts, hard to find today. A bargain for the new owner. The "HONDA" front fender racing plaque and headlight Honda Wing are repops from Thailand. This is a darn nice bike. The price is very fair. The condition is excellent with room for minor improvements. THE COLOR IS RIGHT!!!!! FOB Kanab, Utah. Please buy my bike, give it a good home beyond my lifetime and your money will help me pay medical bills to try and fix as best that can be done the ruptured disc in my back beyond what Obama will pay.

1967 Matchless 500 , 1967 Matchless G85CS Scrambler One of less than 100. Beautiful and correctly restored in 1998 by Robert Allen. The bike was last started in June 2001, ridden around my yard and parked in my family room or office since. I have kicked it over enough to circulate oil a few times a year. Includes a folder containing history, restoration documentation and an original G85CS - G80CS - P11 Maintenance and Instruction MANUAL in near perfect condition. This is a great piece for the Triumph or BSA Collector. Serious offers by serious buyers will be considered. I am selling only because the office spot has been taken by another bike. The Matchless G85CS was a fine, handcrafted off road only scrambles racer built to a higher standard than any previously sold to the general public through dealerships. It had less standard Matchless components on it than anything this side of a G50 road racer! As trim as they were (around 300 lb) these bikes were not overwhelmed with brute horsepower and did weigh a good deal more than the rapidly improving two strokes they ran against. The G85 is the direct predecessor to the P-11 Norton which has basically the same frame. It is commonly reported that the P-11 was born as a result of the west coast distributor installing a 750 Norton twin in a G-85 frame and sending it back to the factory with the instruction "Build This". The frame was bronze brazed Reynold 531 (Brit for Chrome Moly) in a design clearly derived from the Rickman brothers Matisse. The front forks appear standard, the front hub has the cooling fins removed giving it a unique appearance and saving a few ounces of weight. The rear hub and brake plate are "Elektron" magnesium alloy items of G-50 road racer derivation. Foot peg hangers, rear brake lever and other parts are fabricated from tubing rather than cast. The bike came with a fiberglass fuel tank and side covers. The aluminum oil tank was a very complex shape welded up from sheet. This was reportedly done with oxy-acetylene as TIG was not yet common practice. Perhaps the least practical feature was the 1-3/8 AMAL GP carburetor, which has tight inner clearances that do not do well with grit and dust. The ignition is by Lucas Magneto and these generally gave adequate service. Yes they did come with that ridiculous stubby front fender. How many survive today?? 303-499-5186 $21,000.00 3034995186

1971 Honda CB350, RETRO - Engine: 324cc air-cooled OHC parallel twin, 64mm x 50.6mm bore and stroke Claimed power: 33hp @ 9,500rpm Top speed: 100mph Weight: 346lb (157kg) Fuel capacity/MPG: 2.4gal/45-50mpg Price then/now: $700/$1,500-$4,000 Honda might not have been the first motorcycle maker to market a high-pipe 2-cylinder scrambler, but it was probably the most successful. Many manufacturers had traveled down the scrambler-style street-oriented route before Honda, including BSA and Triumph. None of them, though, were as successful as Honda and their CL350 model, and according to Honda restoration guru Charlie O?Hanlon, none of them have the same cachet. They were built to be ridden, they were built to be reliable, and they were built for people to have fun on them. Honda broke open the American market for small, rider-friendly motorcycles in 1959 when they established their import business in LA. Prior to Honda, many of the motorcycles being ridden on the streets and in the dirt in the U.S. were heavy American-built V-twins. Lighter British iron was more sporting, but still featured relatively crude production qualities.
