When we found this machine, it had very few miles....let alone "racing" miles. The owner used it to race around his backyard. It was the Standard Polished gas tank with the Purple cross stripe on the tank. We decided to make it into a real classic BSA muscle machine. We replaced the steel fenders with fibre....powder coated the exhaust pipe and discarded all the muffler and leg protectors for same. They looked like an egg carton. New seat, new rubber, new chrome and polish where needed, a super tuneup and "Bingo" it's done. What a great looking piece of BSA history. Note the large rear sprocket? For those riders who demand wheel stands off the dirt. It starts and runs great! Go ahead and make a fair offer.....we might except it. Thank you, JC WE WILL NOT ACCEPT OFFERS FROM EBAY MEMBERS WITH (0) FEEDBACKS, AND OR MEMBERS WHO HAVE JUST ENROLLED IN EBAY WITHIN THE PAST TWO WEEKS.

This is the first of the swing arm frame models. This bike is in very nice tidy condition and looks good from every angle. This bike is fitted with the optional Wellworthy Alfin alloy cylinder barrel, which is a nice addition and looks great. This motorcycle is entered for sale under 'BSA' as there is no Velocette section and these great British motorcycles get lost in all the dross advertised in "Other Makes" amidst the others etc. The bike runs and rides well and is ready to go. Will help all I can with Safe Shipping. Utah title. From 1948 Velocette turned their attention to building the LE and discontinued the MSS, but a re-worked 500 returned in 1954 with all the mods cons of the time. The light-alloy engine now used square dimensions of 86mm bore and stroke, and featured hairpin valve springs and a bonded-in iron cylinder liner. Its output of just 25bhp sounds modest, but the MSS made the most of Velocette's excellent sprung frame which Cyril Ayton once described as 'virtually faultless'. Velocette's own telescopic front forks provided superb steering with fully-adjustable rear suspension provided by Woodhead-Monroe springs. Many a rider on a 650 parallel twin was startled to find a 500 single keeping pace on A-roads, and on twisting B-roads the MSS would have the measure of Turner's flexi-frames of the 1950s and early 60s. So Velo's MSS was an easy starting, tractable and good natured all-rounder which weighed in a 385lb, capable of cruising at 70mph with shorts bursts of speed up to a little over 80. The MSS looked smart, too, in gleaming black and gold, with its fishtail silencer and slightly stepped dual saddle. Although Velocette were never a mass manufacturer as such, the MSS stayed in production in this guise until 1971.

Nice original patina! 1971 RICKMAN METISSE WESLAKE 500cc BSA B44 Frame number: 1934 Engine number: 98246 As Tom White writes on motocrossactionmag.com: By the late 1950s, Englishmen Don and Derek Rickman had become world-class motocross riders, and with good design and fabrication skills, knew they could build something better. They soon introduced their Rickman Metisse (metisse is French for mongrel) chassis kit for British four-stroke engines. The Metisse pioneered such ideas as oil in the frame, fiberglass bodywork, narrow chassis width and nickel-plated Reynolds 530 tubing. The Rickman’s marketing plan was simple. The brothers would race the bikes on Sunday and sell them on Monday. After a winning weekend, the public would literally line up to buy the Rickman machines. Possibly the ultimate Rickman Metisse was the Mark IV Weslake BSA B44 powered machine. The BSA powerplant was small, originally starting out as a 250cc single-cylinder, but would prove both powerful and reliable, especially when the Weslake 500cc top-end was added. Top of the line chassis components like Ceriani forks and Girling shocks were used and lightweight Akront alloy rims completed the package. Rickmans weren’t just kit bikes. They were great bikes. The bike offered was found languishing in a private collection for many years. Properly stored in a dry environment with fluids drained it took very little to resurrect this rather special machine. The usual re-commissioning of brakes, suspension, carburetion and spark by a local marque expert was all it took. The engine has great compression, starts and runs easily. The bike is fast and handles well. The previous owner built the bike up to be a fun road-going machine with the addition of a rare Flanders headlight and a taillight, which has since been removed. It also sports a twin leading shoe front brake and a 19” wheel. The bike comes with a clean, clear California road title! This is a great opportunity to acquire a rare and fantastic icon of the dirt, in road-going trim!

1968 Royal Star up for sale. Matching frame and engine numbers. I am not a big BSA expert but from what I can tell its almost all original and it appears to all have the correct patina. The hardware and rubber appears to be aged and all period correct. It has just over 9k miles and from the looks of it that could very well be actual mileage. I bought it a few years back with a few other bikes as a package deal. Recently got it running and riding. It has been kept as a collectors bike by myself and the previous owner so I am not sure when it was last used as a rider. It will be sold on a Bill of Sale only. NO TITLE. It has fallen out of the system and there is no national record of the VIN in any state according to NMVTIS. Please check out the pictures, there are a few dings in the tank, rust on the front rim, and a rip on one fork gator. Please review the pictures carefully. Feel free to call or text me with questions 951-531-7068. Buyer is responsible for shipping. This is an "as is" sale, no returns or refunds. If paying with a check, money order, paypal, Bike will be released 5 days after payment clears my account to avoid scams.

This is a running 500cc engine for a BSA WM20. engine number WM20101485 makes it from a batch manufactured in 1944. This came out of my WM20 when I had a special engine built. Mechanically, it's a stock WD engine and can be verified working by Ian Wright of ARK motors in the UK. Ian built my other engine and removed this one in the process. Has a nearly perfect excellent cast iron head with ALL cooling fins intact on the head. Has stainless steel head bolts. Mileage? I have no idea what's actually on it before I got it, but I put around 1800 miles in 7 years Picu What do you get? JUST a running 500cc engine with the specially made engine stand seen pictured (Nothing else) What don't you get? no magdynono carbno header pipe picture of the bike is reference to show it was in the bike and ran. Picture is from my Normandy, France trip. THIS IS A HEAVY ITEM.....packing and shipping will be done professionally, but I will deliver within a reasonable distance from the following zip codes 10038 and 07825. Send me your location and I will give it some thought. If I deliver, you pay gas both ways. Winner/buyer otherwise pays all shipping, crating, handling, etc costs.

Rare, Excellent condition- many new parts. 500 cc Starts right up (kick start), runs great. I rode this bike regularly, it needs nothing to be a daily rider. New brakes, tires, wheels, rubber, rebuilt motor , carb and tranny with 200 miles on rebuild. New electrical, everything works. I have the original shop manual from BSA that came with this bike too. If it were repainted, it would be a show bike, I just like the look of it being original. All work done by original BSA/Triumph shop in Ohio (Humpheries), and I have all receipts. This bike used to be owned by the shop owner of Humpheries, and I brought it back to him to restore for me.I'm open to trades and any offers, but I don't need another motorcycle. I have non factory mirrors and saddle bags I will include.

1968 BSA Lightning 650 A7 , 1968 BSA Lightning for sale. This is an excellent example of BSA's twin carb 650cc bike. It has less than 500 miles since a total restoration was performed. The engine was professionally rebuilt from top to bottom. It has new pistons, rings, rods, valves/guides, bearings. It has new Amal 930 carbs, new Dunlop Gold Seal tires and tubes on stainless steel rims and spokes with a quick disconnect rear wheel. It has a new electronic rectifier, new fork boots, and new rear shocks. The paint is new and is the original red color with lots of good chrome. Everything this bike needed to make it a beautiful, reliable machine, it got. It starts easy, shifts smooth, steers straight and true, and has that distinctive beautiful vertical twin sound. It's ready to ride or show...or just admire. It's a crowd pleaser that anyone in the market for a classic British bike would be proud to own. I have owned this bike about five years but I now have other projects that need my attention so I decided to let this one go. The price is $6,895 and that's a very good deal for someone. Call Gerald @405-971-4423. No texts please and no PayPal scammers. If you're interested in the bike call me and we'll talk or send me an email and I'll reply as soon as possible.
