1966 BSA Hornet , The BSA 1966 Hornet A65 was built as a competition model to compete in the English Hare Scrambles, before motocross evolved. These bikes were ridden in the California desert races by such notables as Steve Mqueen, Dick Mann and a host of others. They were also converted to flat track bikes and won many championships. This bike is fully documented with a rebuilt engine and trans, new Akront wheels w/stainless spokes and a list of other repairs and reconditioned parts. It has the Mikuni carb conversion along with an electronic ignition. It has brand new Avon street tires and tubes. All fluids have been serviced including the front forks. Any rubber lines have bee replaced. The original parts (3 languages) and original owners manual included. There is a large tub of various parts included also. It has a steel Goldstar tank on it but comes with the original fiberglass race tank. (don't use it!) I run 100 leaded octain race gas in it. The parts tub is included with sale. Don't miss out on this true time castle of Motorcycle History. Call or text Tim 714-227-8087 Price is negotiable. More pics available on request. This is a very nice flat/dirt track bike with approximately two hours on the motor. It was purchased around 1997 in the condition as shown in one of the pics. It was completely restored inside and out. The only time on it was from tuning and one race. There is no frame # that I can find. It was more than likely cut off during the restoration, to make the bike lighter. If it's in a secret location, please let me know. I know nothing about BSA's (and my husband can't remember :) The Engine # is A65HA8955-Y. Great bike for vintage racing, but it's a, "Heavy ......." This bike will come with a bill of sale. A $500 deposit is due via Paypal within 24 hrs. of auction end. The balance is to be paid in cash, cashier's check, wire transfer or personal check. The bike will not be released until the payment has cleared my bank. I will assist in shipping in any way possible.

1964 TRIUMPH FLAT TRACKER Just have too many projects to get through, the wife said clean out garage, so.... Here is a cool Vintage Flattrack Racing Bike. This bike is very close to period correct 60s flat track racer. It has a '64 T100SC frame and a '71 T100 Engine. This bike has all the GOOD PARTS that I believe to be from the 60's, Ceriani Trees, Boranni 19" Rims, Betor Forks. Lipp TriCor Fiberglass tank, Barnes Style Quick Change Hub, Barnes 53 tooth Sprocket, rebuilt Hurst Airheart Master Brakes, Grimeca 1000T Calipers with new pads, The seat pan seems more modern with some Taillight Bolts on it for a Street Tracker, newly recovered leather seat, and the Pazon Electric Ignition is definitely modern. Has a brand new Goodyear/Dunlap DT2 Rear flattrack tire, Progressive Rear Shocks, also has brand new Chain. Fuel tank is very clean. Dessert sled style oil tank. decent high pipes. The engine was gone through and cleaned up, bottom end specs seemed good, top end has new rings, honed cylinders, valves gone through by professional machine shop. new springs, valves were good. Was converted to Pazon Electronic Ignition setup with a battery eliminator Sparx Module. Two new 6v Coils. New Wires. Has good spark with battery. The bike needs a few small things to get running. It has good compression and spark. Just needs oil lines run, Rocker cover bolts tightened up, Lot of the parts are just hand tightened bolts and nuts. Tank, Triple Trees, Brake carrier, Brake reservoir, Pegs, Seat, Engine, etc. all just "loose". Needs brake pedal Fabricated. So it shifts and brakes on Right Side (Left foot is on ground through the corners). Kick start return spring jumps off spring peg, may need to be shimmed. Part alone are worth more than Reserve, Don't want to break up this great bike. Could also convert into a Street Tracker or Ice Racer? NO TITLE. BILL OF SALE ONLY Will help with loading and with shipper have had good luck with Uship. Can store for a little while if paid in full. $500 down payment due 3 days from end of auction remainder within a week, unless previously arranged. Can ship Worldwide, International buyers are on your own with tarrifs and taxes and such, will help where possible. You must deal with all shipping and export issues. You are looking at a 1929 JDH 2 cam "cut down." (bobber these days). This bike has been a cut down ,I believe, about 80 years. There were only 100 of these Harley-Davidson motorcycles made in 1928 and 29. The 1929 crash and depression was on it's way and these Harleys were about 200 bucks more expensive so they didn't sell well. Better for us, I guess. It has 3 speeds and original rear stand and new chain, sprockets and clutch. A couple sets of points and some rear brake lining goes with this Harley.I got invited to the 2012 Canon ball run but our house caught fire and I had to rebuild it, so couldn't go. My preparation for the canonball was to completely rebuild the transmission which was done by Steve Lipoldt, rebuild the generator, with nos parts, done at Harbor Vintage in Vermont and to get the original coil rewound with, get this, 7500 feet of .0015 wire. New plug wires. These bikes had dual headlights as new but this one only has one with original taillight. It's been painted black & white for a very long time. It has two extra taillights I added to the rear. Can't have too much light back there. It has the rectangular dash, not the triangle dash with ammeter as some had. This 1929 was the second year of the front brake. With these old front brakes the bike went faster when it was pulled ;-). It now has a 1968 BSA double leading shoe front brake that stops great. Both wheels and tires are 400/18" Dunlop K70s (C pic). which handle and ride great. This bike is very nimble handling. The handlebars and spirals are re-manufactured with all new inner and outer cables. The grips are just tape like riders did back then. This machine has been completely rewired. It has switch and fuse on the ground wire for fast shutoff if needed, There is no speedo but there's no more that 600 miles on the motor and only about 100 miles on the other rebuilt items. This Harley is for sale on 3 other sites, Europe. plus locally so this auction may end without notice so if ya want or need a very very rare old museum piece or a daily rider, bid...ah nobody hasta tell ya that. Whomever really wants it is gonna win it. $1000 immediate deposit into my PayPal. Final payment is any way we agree on... Cash is king. Shipping is free in the con US if I get $55,000 and under 55 we'll split the shipping 50/50...Howzat? Winner must set up shipping with a trucker that ships to their area. I will help with any shipping. In Florida, after full payment, I will deliver it for the gas money. I know a vehicle shipper for specific area, between the southern USA and upper USA, east of the Mississippi and maybe into Canada although I never discussed Canada with him. He is fully insured and passionate about his care of antique vehicles. Just the lower end of these engines go for $10,000 or more if one's lucky enough to find one....Offers are gladly entertained. FWI: When I acquired this bike it had 400/18 1950, totally worn flat, dry rotted and cracked, Sears-Roebuck, tires on it. The pre WW 2 real rubber inner tubes held air pretty well with 4 patches in each tube. When I installed the new Dunlops, with new tubes, each wheel got 17 pounds lighter. Call Florida George at 772-466-9009 office-shop or 772-20104242 cell with any questions or to just bulls--t. Be glad to hear from y'all. Have fun bidding. AMCA # 6362I also buy, sell and rebuild Linkert carburetors. If possible I have a one day turnaround. labor is a flat hundred bucks, plus parts. {No damaged Linkert carb bodies please.} They come back looking brand new.I will also rebuild any F head-pocket valve, Flathead, Knuckle or Pan motor. I do em right and sometimes it ain't cheap depending on condition when I get em. I get $30 per hour, keeping track exactly, in a book I keep for time keeping.Been biking for 57 years and 500,000 miles.

1970 Norton 750Trackmaster Vintage Off-RoadCommando Desert racer NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OR BUYERS UNLESS BUYER MAKES ALL ARRANGEMENTS, and only then if I am CONTACTED IN ADVANCE. Trackmaster oil-in-frame built specifically for desert racing-- beautiful original nickel finish. Custom Trackmaster swingarm with dual shock positions. 1970 Norton 750 Commando motor - balanced & blueprinted w/extensive head work. Norton 4 speed transmission - blueprinted. Massey Ferguson points Magneto ignition. Custom built aluminum desert skid plate protects all vitals. Vintage Hurst Airheart drilled disc brakes w/stainless braided lines – front & rear (cutting edge trick for 1970's). Leo St. Martin high seat w/ new velour seat cover. Steve Simons 38mm forks & triples. Charles Curnutt long travel desert shocks. Buchanan built wheels w/custom stainless hubs and stainless steel spokes. Dynamic Machine rear and front axles. Charlie Cavallo open megaphone dual exhaust (these are a work of art). 40mm Del Orto carburetor w/ K&N filter & ACK intake manifold. Charlie Cavallo custom primary housing. Custom billet aluminum magneto cover & various bits. Lightened bolts and nuts (mostly titanium & aluminum). Lightened sprockets and discs. Vesco desert tank. 1970 vintage Husqvarna aluminum fenders with custom mounting brackets (see last photo). Preston Petty front #plate / tool box w/vintage desert number plate. 3.25x21 front tire and 5.00x18 rear. All high risk bolts & nuts were safety wired for racing. This is a loud, brash, in your face vintage desert sled. If you're caught behind this bike while racing then you'd be in trouble--if the sound from those open megaphones don't kill you then the roost from that rear tire will. It is beyond trick--beyond 'works' even---it truly is a one-of-a-kind bike and would be impossible to duplicate now. I purchased this bike from the original owner/builder (the son of a famous Hollywood western film star of the 1950's) who had informed me that he had lost count of all the $$ he had invested in this bike. His estimate was 'somewhere around $40,000 or upwards over the years'. He told me that he had always wanted the ultimate MX/desert bike so in 1970 he contacted Trackmaster Racing Frames (who were famous for their short and long track flat-track frames) and specifically requested that they custom build him a motocross / grand prix desert frame for a Norton 750 motor that would have the longer rake steering angle for high speed tracking & stability. He paid them what was a small fortune at the time and waited forever, as Trackmaster was up to their eyeballs making their cutting edge flat track frames. The wait was worth it though because what you see here is this one of a kind / 'only one in the world' frame. Bike started out with conventional Betor short travel suspension and eventually evolved into the bike you see here. He spent ridiculous amounts of $$ on every trick part he could find or have custom built. His budget was unlimited. This bike was raced--improved upon---and raced again until it evolved into the long travel incarnation you see here. I doubt that there is another bike like this anywhere in the world and I sincerely doubt that anyone could duplicate this bike today, at any cost. Most of these parts are one off, and the ones that aren't are surely unobtainable now. Take a close look at those wheels & sprockets, the engine & exhaust, the carb & intake, the footpegs and brake arm, etc. Over 40 years of time and buckets of money have gone into turning a British heavyweight into this lightweight fighting machine. This is the one and only 750 Norton desert frame that was ever built by Trackmaster. Original nickel plate finish still shines like new. THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND BIKE AND SHOULD GO INTO A TOP LEVEL VMX OR OFF ROAD RACING COLLECTION OR MUSEUM. In all my years of collecting these bikes I've never run across another one even remotely like it. Bike has very few miles on it since it was restored. Please use ZOOM feature and check out the photos carefully. ---SEE BELOW FOR FURTHER PURCHASE AND PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS--- Bike is ready for YOUR RACE PREP prior to riding or racing it.Please look at photos and ask questions (USE zoom FEATURE). This is your best way to determine it's condition so PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY AND ASK QUESTIONS if unclear about anything.Az-Mike 623-465-0636. SHIPPING: INTERNATIONAL--I can help with that but you must CONTACT ME FIRST! This bike does NOT have a title, so getting out of USA and into yours will be relatively HARD and EXPENSIVE.
