This is a 1942 BS WM20 from the military motorcycle collection in the Hamilton Triumph Motorcycle Museum in Apache Junction, Arizona. This motorcycle was on display until just recently when it was moved out to make room for new acquisitions. Over 125,000 WM20s were made for the military during the war years. From the history we know on this machine, it was used by the British Army until 1957. When we obtained the bike about 12 years ago from a collector in California, it was painted Brunswick Green which the modern military color used by the British army after the war. The information plate on the toolkit shows that this BSA had been overhauled by the army in November 1951. This WM20 has frame number WM20 28820 and engine number WM20 14132. We fully restored this WM20 about 6 years ago, taking it back to its World War II configuration. At that time, it was put on display in our museum and has not been started since restoration. It will need a battery and fluid renewal if riding it is planned. Henk Joore from the Netherlands has an excellent website on the BSA WM20s where more information can be found … http://www.wdbsa.nl/index.htm This motorcycle has a clear Washington state title. Note: Bidders with feedback scores of less than 10 and/or outside of the USA and Canada must have permission before bidding, otherwise their bids may be canceled. No bids from outside the USA or Canada will be accepted without written email permission.

This is a running 500cc engine for a BSA WM20. engine number WM20101485 makes it from a batch manufactured in 1944. This came out of my WM20 when I had a special engine built. Mechanically, it's a stock WD engine and can be verified working by Ian Wright of ARK motors in the UK. Ian built my other engine and removed this one in the process. Has a nearly perfect excellent cast iron head with ALL cooling fins intact on the head. Has stainless steel head bolts. Mileage? I have no idea what's actually on it before I got it, but I put around 1800 miles in 7 years Picu What do you get? JUST a running 500cc engine with the specially made engine stand seen pictured (Nothing else) What don't you get? no magdynono carbno header pipe picture of the bike is reference to show it was in the bike and ran. Picture is from my Normandy, France trip. THIS IS A HEAVY ITEM.....packing and shipping will be done professionally, but I will deliver within a reasonable distance from the following zip codes 10038 and 07825. Send me your location and I will give it some thought. If I deliver, you pay gas both ways. Winner/buyer otherwise pays all shipping, crating, handling, etc costs.

1945 BSA M20 , 1945 BSA M20. This bike is in excellent mechanical condition. In 2012 it set a new Land Speed Record at the Bonneville Salt Flats in the P-PV (Production-Vintage Gas) class at 64.030mph on a 45mph record. In post run inspection the head was removed for inspection and honing marks were still visible on the cylinder walls. Thats how fresh this motor is. Top speed achieved was 66.924. The bike has a current SCTA log book should you want to run it at Bonneville. There are cosmetic blemishes. Rock chips and scratches. A thorough paint and polish would bring the bike back to OEM. Among the spares are three aerosol cans of custom matched paint. Spares include, saddle bags and mounting plate, various gaskets, nuts & bolts, head gasket, 3 side tool boxes, air pump, center stand, military red rear light, slightly used clutch pack (new clutch pack in bike) passenger foot pegs. The frame is # WM20 121448. The engine # is WM2C11705. The engine number is very difficult to read and that is my best guess. My asking price is $5,900. Please feel free to call with any questions.
