only 5,200 miles. the bike is immaculate, no disappointments. new rear tire with less than 200 miles. stock was 180mm, I put a 200mm on it. The stock muffler has been modified to have better flow and a deep throaty sound. The voltage regulator has been updated to an aftermarket piece. its a common issue with some buells. 2008 Buell Ulysses XT w/very Special Features ***Please read the "BUY-IT NOW" Special Offer Below*** It is not very often that a Ulysses XT like this comes up for sale...in this condition...with this many special features. The new owner will be purchasing much more than they ever expect. I have owned many Buell motorcycles since 1995 so I have some basis saying this. This XT has had every system gone through in an effort to improve design weaknesses and create a very durable, comfortable motorcycle. As a result it has turned out to be greater than the sum of it's parts and has become a motorcycle with limits expanded well beyond those of a stock Ulysses XT. This motorcycle has never been on it's side, in an accident or had parts replaced because of damage. It has not been left out in the rain. All the hardware is clean & fresh, not gray or nasty looking. The original engine and frame are clean and free of damage. I am 5'7" and this XT has been carefully constructed so as to offer me two footed stability when stopped while not sacrificing ride quality. The re-contoured seating surface, along with other subtle changes, allow a 2" lower seating position than that of a stock XT. These changes helped to create a motorcycle with an uncanny high speed stability and razor sharp handling in the corners. It is extremely stable at speeds over 100mph. The handlebars are also brought 1" closer to the rider for additional arm comfort. If the new owner desires, I also have a brand new set of 2" lower Knight designs billet foot rests to allow extra leg room. A comprehensive service was recently performed using Mobil 1 oils. This motorcycle has no fluid leaks. The drive belt has about 6k miles on it as do the front and rear wheel bearings. Both tires have about 6k miles on them, but best to be replaced for the 2015 riding season. Premium & Upgraded components on this motorcycle: Hero Blue Translucent Intake Cover w/one of a kind Skeleton face buried within. Zero Gravity, tall, dark tinted shield w/stainless mounting hardware...new. Lower black bug shield... new. Black Front fender & lower cowl...as new. Hepco & Becker panniers and racks mounted w/stainless hardware...as new. Right side engine air intake. Comfort kit w/optional exhaust header shield. Buell low seat modified so as to remove forward slope and contoured to allow easier leg reach to the ground. Aprilia Tuono SL750 mirrors (not clones). Grip Master foam grip covers. Adjustable, billet hand levers, short (black w/red adjusters) Precision Machine 1" billet handlebar riser. Knight Designs, black anodized, bar-end vibration dampers machined for use with or w/o hand guards. K&N intake air filter (just serviced). Jardine, Titanium RT1 muffler w/fresh packing & optional, removable, billet silencer insert ( this muffler reduces motorcycle weight by 18#'s). Stainless fasteners (not rivets) installed for servicing muffler core. Erik Buell Racing ecm tuned for this intake & exhaust. American Torque breather bypass system w/optional K&N carbon fiber breather filter. New OEM Voltage Regulator. New Yuasa high output battery w/240cca. OEM Coil wires...new. DCPR9eix iridium spark plugs...new. Barnett kevlar clutch pak & spring (heavier than stock). Requires Mob 1 Syn V-Twin Primary Oil.
