1950 Harley Davidson Model E Panhead 61ci. Very nice example of one of the last year model E's produced by the factory with the 61ci motor and low compression pistons. E models were widely used for police and commercial use back in the day due to the smooth running and dependability. This example sports a one year old restoration and has only a few miles on the motor. Along with a lower number matching motor, this bike has an original frame, front end all sheet metal, speedometer, dash panel, original ignition switch (no keys) oil tank, rear stand, original sergeant stripes, taillight, original hubs with new cad plated spokes, headlight and bulb, primary covers, floor boards, rebuilt correct Linkert carburetor, air cleaner and backing plate. Aftermarket items include complete exhaust system, new wiring harness and Hellings custom style handlebars all made in America. Other items such as steering dampener, tool box, seat pan and tank emblem may also be aftermarket. Motor and trans rebuilt by Steve McPhillips Mac's V-Twin out of Wallkill, NY. Bike was restored and assembled by C&S Supply out of Windsor CT. This is not a Taiwan put together! This bike was built as a personal rider with all of the best components available! Excellent runner and ready to go! I reserve the right to end this auction early as this motorcycle is being offered elsewhere. I will consider direct offers. I'm not interested in anything except for cash. Bike can be shipped anywhere, but I sure would love for it to stay in the Pacific Northwest. Bike sold with Wa state Bill of Sale PDF document, and name of previous owner. Includes: For sale is my fully capable of riding or racing, 1977, Mod 193 Pursang. Condition: Beautiful looking and sounding, Pursang beast of a 370. Nothing leaks, nothing is broken, All the plastics have Bultaco emblem on them. Not repop items, seat, no tears/breaks/cracks. All pieces may/will have light scratches, this is NOT a museum piece. The tank appears to be repainted, but is also an original. Betor forks, original. There are no re-pop, remanufactured items on this bike. The frame, and exhaust may have age rust, or "surface" meaning very very slight, but I wouldnt want it to arrive and have someone think its a museum. I want it to arrive and shock you. This bike was just ridden at the local vintage moto "Riverdale Raceway" in Toutle, Washington, USA in April. This is not a museum piece, this is a vintage motocross bike ready to go ride. I describe this bike, personally as a 8 out of 10. Its a rider, its fully entact. You could drain the oil and store, or add fuel and ride it tomorrow. The only thing changed is the big Mikuni carb, which was a standard fix/upgrade. I don't possess a title for the bike, but if you're going to stare at it in your hallway, or rip on it at your local vintage track, you're not going to need one anyway. Fires right up and pulls harder than a YZ490. Might wake up your neighbors too, but that's ok :-) This was a favorite, because this was not one of the "low shock" short shock models, but it also isnt the late 70's, early 80's models that had an outrageous seat height and single shock. This is still a twin shock, midsized, suspension, Bultaco. Truth be told I've only owned the bike for a year, but I need funding for my Chevy C10, so this bike has to go. This is my 3rd motorcycle sale on ebay, and I've had very good luck with cheap shipping off of uship.com which, ebay uses/owns. I would like to keep the bike in the states. I'll sell this to the lower 48 USA states only. Please see photos, and condition will likely speak volumes for itself. Shipping: Winning bidder will have 24 hours only, to make nonrefundable deposit. The balance will be paid via money order in 5 business days, or if you are eager to have uship show up as soon as possible, a personal payment on paypal (i.e. no fee) would be acceptable, but not preferred. I will meet/coordinate pickup with uship.com driver/hauler, Monday-Friday pickup. Lastly, I have been on ebay for 13+ years, and vintage 2 strokes are my love. I don't sell junk. Best of luck and inbox me any questions if you are a serious buyer. ***PLEASE READ ALL OF MY FINE PRINT*** ***International bidders: Not available on this BULTACO*** SHIPPING:I like to use USPS Priority shipping for shipments that fit into USPS Priority small, medium, and large boxes. Due to size, weight, and content restrictions we realize that this is not always practical especially if your item is over 12" x 12" x 5"If this is the case, I will use USPS "Standard" in most cases instead of Priority.Sometimes with post they still offer shipping confirmation/tracking. I will include this once shipped! ***VERY IMPORTANT***NO NEED FOR NEGATIVE OR NEUTRAL FEEDBACK.Is there a problem? Contact me before leaving feedback. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSWILL YOU COMBINE ITEMS TO REDUCE SHIPPING?Yes I will, send me an email, after purchase, I allow you to change shipping numbers at my approval, upon check out! Please provide item numbers and what zip we are shipping to.WHAT DAYS DO YOU SHIP ON?These are general rules but not guaranteed.Normally Orders paid for before 2pm PST will ship SAME DAY excluding weekends and holidays.HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO PAY?I require immediate payment on all fixed auctions. I like working quickly for both parties!WHAT KIND OF PAYMENTS DO YOU TAKE?I am a PAYPAL ONLY store at this point.CAN YOU SHIP TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS OTHER THAN WHAT IS REGISTERED WITH MY EBAY OR PAYPAL ACCOUNT.Lets keep life easy, and say no. I will only ship to addresses associated with your paypal account for your safety and mine.WHY DO YOU NOT OFFER RETURNS?I am not offering returns at this time. This is a part time hobby, and I have a full time job and family of my own. If you want to return this part because you bought it for a different make model or year I cannot be responsible. If you are even slightly unsure of your year, check on ebay or google for help. I have tried my hardest to list clear information on each and every auction! I look at the amount of info I include versus other stores, and my descriptions are more detailed. Hopefully you agree. Thank you! ***PARTS INSPECTION***I am not an expert... And I may make a mistake! In this auction we have a 1967 Royal Enfield Continental GT that is in good running condition as you can see in the video here. These bikes were factory built cafe racers and are a much sought after model. While they are fairly common in the UK (as common as a running bike from 1967 can be), they are much more difficult to find here in the United States since they were imported in extremely low numbers. There are some interesting points about this make and model specifically as well as points of interest about this bike and the current interest being shown for it. This machine is one that was manufactured in England. This was not one of the Indian made Royal Enfields. If you’re looking for a mid 60s 250 cafe racer there are only a few choices -- a Bultaco Metralla, a Ducati Diana, or a Royal Enfield Continental GT. The Enfield is much harder to come by and ours is priced at a much more reasonable rate than any Metralla or Diana. Another standout feature is that this bike has all the restoration parts available through Hitchcock’s in England. This includes the clip on handlebars and flyscreen that was common on the British models, but was typically an optional part purchased through your dealer in the United States. Currently, there’s also a contemporary resource for rebuilding this machine -- you’re not going to have to dig through decades of old bike magazines to find a road test with the specs, photos, and other related information you’ll need to rebuild this. Classic Bike magazine began a feature in their May 2015 issue they are now calling the Project Royal Enfield Continental GT that’s a part of their Classic Workshop series. They are rebuilding this motorcycle from start to finish with modern full color images and all the tech specs you’ll need to potentially create a Concours level restoration. If this is the size and vintage motorcycle you’re interested in owning, there will be no better choice for you since there were no Triumph or BSA variants to be had with this motor size. A few other things to know about this bike before you buy it will be shown in the photos and in the following description. We can afford to sell this bike to the right buyer because, as you can see, this bike has been in an accident. The fork tubes are bent along with the swingarm. The fork tubes can be straightened or bought new and the swingarm can be easily straightened since it is still intact and the material is still in one piece. The frame has been inspected, however, and it is not bent. With these obvious flaws, we are selling this at a reduced cost so this is your chance to have an entry into a rare British cafe racer without having to pay a premium price or pay those very premium import prices to have it shipped from England. Once again, all the missing parts for this bike are available from Hitchcocks in England -- one of the foremost Enfield specialty parts companies. In the May article there was a great quote saying “This bike typifies the ideal first restoration project”. Having been in a shop that has seen several top end restorations, we can agree that any machine with so many fundamental pieces included (or readily available) would be the best one to start with as a novice, or would serve as an easy project for the well seasoned restoration artist. We have been selling motorcycle and motorcycle parts here on eBay for over five years now and we do our best to help other enthusiasts and professionals have a chance to get what they need in a painless, friendly transaction. We are glad to accommodate any shipper you may use (don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions) and can also offer storage for your new purchase for a reasonable amount of time until you have made arrangements to get it. Because we are also very active in the vintage bike scene we can offer an economical delivery option to the Mid-Ohio and Wauseon swap meets. Finally, this motorcycle has no title , but will be sold with a bill of sale (a title was not available at time of original purchase). It is also sold with no warranty and no returns accepted. If you have any questions or concerns just let us know. We are happy to help and want to get this machine into the hands of someone who can breathe new life into it.
