View Large Images ? ? Description This is a New, Still in Crate Harley Davidson Heritage Springer Softail. This Harley has never been removed from the Original crate from the factory. The bike was originally purchased and stored in a temperature controlled garage since new in 97 and Never removed from the original packaging or crate. We did put a new battery in it to check the mileage and it only has the original 13 miles on it that were put on at the factory after assembly before crating the bike for shipment to the dealer! We removed the factory bag and outer box to inspect the bike and the only way to describe it is Pristine. The chrome and Paint are absolutely amazing. The Leather bags and fringes are also in brand New condition. This Harley is all stock and has never been laid down or damaged in any way as it is still in the factory crate! This is a Very rare bike and even rarer color option. In my opinion it is One of the most attractive color combinations ever available on a Softail and makes this one hard to beat! We are currently storing this one in our private collection but we are a little overwhelmed with Harleys so its time to let her go. For instance, after designing two of the best looking fenders ever, the good folks in Harley's design department slapped on a trick looking tombstone taillight and front running light, making those fenders just that much more impressive. Another such detail is the horn. Prominently displayed right up front, atop the damper, this thing is a brilliant reproduction of the original. And it works great, too. Nice and loud and pointing straight ahead instead of down into your left boot. The view from the saddle is fabulous. Nothing but chrome as far as the eye can see. Starting with the chrome dashboard, you move up to two stout chrome risers, and then onto the funny looking top springs. And finally the coup de grâce: Three beautiful chrome orbs that are the backsides of the head lamps. This could be the coolest view in all of motorcycling. In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a Deposit in the amount of 10% by major credit card, cash in person or bank certified funds. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by bank wire transfer, cash in person, bank certified funds to Seller. At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer MUST fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License.
