1986 Yamaha Virago 750. New tires, rebuilt carburetors. She has a brand new upholstered seat too! Super comfy! She does run but needs a tune-up. She's in pretty good condition, but she does have a ding in the gas tank....cosmetic, does not compromise the gas tank. If you're looking to learn to ride a bike, don't spend a lot of money for those first few months. Get something like this at a price that you can afford, and then after you've made all the mistakes you can make on a bike, you can move on to a newer bike. We have the title clear. Little over 23,000 miles. Reduced to $950.

1986 Yamaha Virago XV700 for sale. Have the title. Title is clean. Not the original owner. Bike is being sold AS-IS, No returns/refunds. Has a shaft drive, dual carburetors. New Stater, fuel line and spark plugs replaced within the last 6 months. Needs clutch, starter, crankcase gasket, air filter cover. May actually run if these items are replaced, but this is NOT guaranteed. Actual mileage is unknown. Speedometer has come off (still have it), dent in the fuel tank left side, removed jardine slip-ons, no side mirrors, not a motorcycle seat. BE SURE TO SEE ALL PHOTOS - the photos in this listing are considered part of the item description. Cash only. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. Bike is located in Broward County, South Florida. Title will be signed over after payment received. Sales receipt will be provided as well. Here is the history: There is NO guarantee - bike is being sold AS-IS. There may be other issues due to 3 months stored: As of December 2014: The bike was running and used daily. There were no known compression issues. There were no known electrical issues. There were no known suspension issues. There were battery charging issues earlier in the year 2014, but we put in a new stator and that problem was fixed. We have a voltage regulator (new) for it too, but didn't put it on. In December 2014 we replaced the crank case gasket to fix the oil leak problem, but then the starter died. The rider push started the bike for about a week and the clutch went bad. In an attempt to fix/repair the clutch, the gasket tore. At that point, we drained the oil and parked it. The carburetor needs tuning. You can see in the photos the tire tread remaining and any rust present. The fuel line and spark plugs were replaced by a professional last year (I mentioned these in the ad). All the other repairs listed in my email (gasket replaced, new stator) were done by the owner/rider. All body modifications were done by the owner/rider. I have disclosed all that is known about the condition.

1993 Yamaha Virago XV535 Clear Title The bike was street legal up to May 2014. I didn't bother to re-register it because of the carburetor issue. Items included but currently off the bike (note: these items are either in separate packets and labeled or in a large box I will included with the pickup of your motorcycle): 4 Cylinder Head Side Covers 8 Allen Bolts and 6 washers for the Cylinder Head Side Covers 2 of the washers are missing; if I find them I'll include them. 2 Side Side Covers (Chrome Color) 2 Intake Boots with 4 mounting bolts 3 Gas Tank Mounting Bolts with busings 2 for the front one for the back 1 of 2 Carburetors I cant remember if this is the front or back carburetor. Condition: The engine runs strong but currently is not running at all because I managed to destroy one of the carburetors while attempting to rebuild them; an exterior screw was stripped and my removal process failed miserably. The bike will need a set of carburetors. There are dents on the gas tank. The paint job is not original. I coated the fender under-wells with some of that rubberized rust preventive paint because it was really my intention to keep this bike before blowing it with the carbs. I have all the parts for the bike boxed up and I am including them; this includes the one good carburetor I have for the bike. History: I obtained the bike in a 3 way trade and put about 2000 miles on it. The bike title was issued in NC. I noticed that the bike began to run very rough and that one of the cylinders was cool to the touch. I checked for spark; the cylinder was firing correctly. I used Seafoam in the gas and that seemed to resolve the problem temporarily so I decided it was time for a carburetor rebuild. That's when I had problems and turned a $50 job into a $400 job. Unfortunately I can't afford to replace the carburetors. I recently changed the oil and filter; the air filter was clean so its the same one that was on the bike when I traded for it. If you are interested please contact me with further questions. As I remember things about this bike I'll update this post. Buy now with confidence. Thanks. The centerpiece of any motorcycle is its engine. The V-Star's engine traces its roots to the air cooled, 70-degree V-twin Virago 535. The 535cc engine's bore increased 5mm and the stroke increased 4mm for a new bore and stroke of 81 x 63mm, bumping the V-Star's displacement to 649cc. The V-Star retains the 535's two-valve cylinder-head design and compression ratio of 9.0:1. However, each cylinder's single overhead cam cuts a new profile, and the Mikuni carburetors' throats shrank from 34mm to 28mm, for better response off the line at the expense of some power up at higher rpm. Exhaust gasses exit via a two-into-two staggered dual system with a cross-over tube.
