*Price Reduced* Up for sale is a clean example of a 2009 Buell XB12R Firebolt. The bike has a K&N air filter, Jardine slip on exhaust, and is custom tuned by Faribault Harley Davidson. There are no dead spots on this tune like the race ECM's give you with aftermarket exhaust, and I have the dyno graph to go along with it. This bike also has a GPR steering damper, mini blinkers, undertail kit, blue aluminum shorty levers, a leather seat cover, and the tires have minimal wear. Also going with the bike is a Buell code reader ($125), and the passenger foot pegs. I just never ride with passengers and removed them to clean up the look of the bike. I have put a few miles on the bike in the last month. Its still under 13,500 miles, but I just listed it at 14,000 so there are no surprises.

This super-comfortable, powerful and very dependable touring machine is being sold because its owner (me) is an elderly gentleman who is beginning to have issues with upper body strength and with balance problems. Rather than risk dumping this beautiful machine I am going to be moving on to three-wheeled transportation. (I have a Suzuki V-Strom DL1000 on which I'm going to put a sidecar.) This bike is a beautiful gold-tone metal flake color with black accents. I emphasize that this is a BIG, HEAVY bike – weight is close to 900 pounds and it is considered to be top heavy, so unless you are a large person with decent upper body strength I don't recommend you consider it. The previous owner scuffed it once against a pillar in a parking garage and sanded and painted over the scuff, which can be seen on the passenger side of the fairing. That is the only, small, cosmetic issue for this bike. (Touch-up paint is included.) Back then, British twins, usually Bonneville engines, were used to form the basis of home built bikes. Used to race from one café to another, they featured extensive modifications such as dropped bars, single seats and upswept exhausts. To this day, we’ve kept many of these styling cues for the modern Thruxton. Named after the high speed British circuit where Triumph enjoyed great success in production racing, it follows in the tire tracks of the legendary 1960's Thruxton T120R. And just like those café racers of the 60s, the modern Thruxton is Bonneville based but nowadays, our engineers have made sure it rides like a modern Triumph twin.
