1991 Honda CB-1 Type 2 RARE Japanese Market PLATED! Street legal 1991 JDM Honda NC27 in beautiful low mileage unmolested original condition !!!! The CB-1 is one of those wonderful Honda's from the late 80's and early 90's, everything about these bikes is classic Honda. An engine that is a work of art, beautiful fit, finish, quality and typical Honda reliability. I own a U.S. Spec 89 model, which I am keeping as it has a number of mods. The Type2 (or MKII) CB-1 was only sold in Japan, it has some slight differences from the early U.S. model which was pulled from the market here after only two years. The 1991 model has a slightly larger tank, a full stainless exhaust system, different rear shock, higher bars, taller gear ratio and other small things, like the cool tinted indicator lenses, Km speedo etc etc. And of course, the very cool black engine and dark grey/silver frame and accents. The fact that clean lower mile well preserved examples of the Hawk 650, GB500 and CB-1 command the same as new prices or more is testament to how much Honda had it right when they were producing these bikes. The CB-1 is special in its simplicity and do it all nature. The CBR400 derived engine makes wonderful gear driven cam music and provides just the right amount of usable power on the street. The engine is the focal point of the bike but the handling and braking are just as superb. The later CB400 super fours are abundant in Japan but the CB-1 is quite rare due to its overall short production run. I looked for a long time to find a clean stock low Km example. This bike is a true survivor and was stored inside and has avoided most of the harsh Japanese conditions that render many of the older classic bikes with corrosion. If you are looking for a nice CB-1 you will be hard pressed to find a nicer one, and you will probably never see another JDM type 2, I have never seen or heard of another one in the states. Legally imported in accordance with DOT and EPA it has a clean and clear Arizona title with plate and new 2017 tags. It has an 11 digit Japanese VIN so California reg may be troublesome, but everywhere else will be fine. I just recently did full service on the bike, full carb clean and sync, fresh oil and filter, fresh 50/50 coolant (and flush) fresh Synthetic DOT 4 brake fluid front and rear. (All this was less than 50 miles ago). Battery and spark plugs are a bit older but still pretty new. Tires are not original, good tread but older. I would advise going with fresh rubber before any spirited riding. The bike starts and runs beautifully, it turns over and fires instantly when warm and the same when cold on the choke. The carburation is excellent with smooth linear power from down low to the 13,500 RPM redline. The bike truly runs wonderfully. Everything works, all lights, signals, warning lamps . The bike is 100% stock, exhaust, rear fender etc etc. Bike has just over 7000 original miles. Please have a close look at the photos, I will also add a short video of the bike starting and running. There are some small areas of corrosion on the valve cover, and around other metal bits, some are minor enough they started to clean up as soon as I worked on them with some cleaner. The bike has been in my shop for awhile and while covered etc, its still could use a pretty good detail. There is one small scratch on the top rear of the tail cowl and a small discoloration spot on the right side of the tail cowl. And those stickers....I didn't have the heart to remove them...I will let the new owner decide on that...but being a bit of a Japanophile and lover of all things *Engrish* I left them in place...and I assume they are early 90s period correct. Check the battely :) Please have a close look at all the pictures and let me know if you need more of a certain part of the bike or if I overlooked anything ask any and all questions. Bike is located in so cal desert near palm springs, I can also have it at my place in Phoenix. If you are local, test ride is encouraged with M1, proper gear and asking cash price. Happy to work with your shipper, u-ship etc to get the bike anywhere it needs to go to a nice safe new home. Please check out my other auctions!! UPDATE 14 Jan. I added Youtube video of bike starting and running and short walk around. I also noticed the right fork seal is starting to weep fluid. I have ordered new oem Honda set of fork seals L /R and will replace with fresh fluid before bike sells, if I do not have time to finish before its sold I will send parts with the new owner!!

just when was the last time you have seen one of these hondas ? I think most were rusted by 1980. CONDITION not perfect but about a 7.5/8.5 bike starts everytime with les than 3 kicks. most times 1 kick. runs GR8 This would be the perfect bike 4 hunting camp /vacation camp & to have with your motorhome. it's a little sweety & can keep up with traffic. will go over 55mph. She draws a crowd at the gass station. The best thing is that there are lots of NOS Honda parts 4 this bike a low cost if you would need any. come test it if you like. local pickup or you pay shipping.

1971 Honda CB750K1 History: In February 1968, Honda organized a team of about 20 members to head the development effort of a new high-performance motorcycle. Around this time, Honda heard from a reliable source that the British manufacturer Triumph was developing a 750cc triple, and in turn, Honda immediately settled on developing a 750cc four to counter the British effort . The in-line four design, with 4 separate exhaust pipes, was chosen so motorcyclists around the world would immediately associate the bike with the Honda Grand Prix road racers of the mid-sixties.A secondary goal was to build an engine that would produce at least 67 horsepower - one more than the most powerful 1300cc Harley Davidson at that time. Lastly, Honda wanted to build a bike with superior performance and reliability. So, in July 1969, Honda introduced the first CB750, and changed the motorcycle industry forever. The initial production numbers were forecast to be only 1,500 per year. Well, the 1,500 yearly goal quickly became a monthly production number, and soon after, the monthly production number rose to an amazing 3,000 units. About this bike: The first Honda CB750 was sold as a "K0" model in 1969 and 1970. The bike for sale here was built in September 1970, and was sold as a 1971 model with the model designation "K1". However, the September 1970 build date means that this bike was manufactured in the original Honda "Factory One" where the bikes were a bit more hand-made, prior to the high production assembly line that came a short time later. The engine on this bike has a hand-ported head from the factory, and some of the frame components are hand-welded. These manufacturing processes were eliminated when the new assembly line was built by Honda to meet the rising demand for the bike. Recently, this CB750 received a complete frame-off restoration, and has been driven approximately 3,000 fair-weather miles since then. The frame was media blasted and received professionally applied black lacquer. NOS parts include the HM300 complete exhaust system, NOS rear shocks, NOS turn signals, and NOS tank and side panel emblems. Other new components are the swing arm bushings, front and rear wheel bearings, rebuilt carbs, new carb manifolds and boots, front brake pads, control cables and nearly all the rubber parts, bumpers and grommets. The tires are Bridgestone Spitfires with period correct sizing and look.Mechanically, the motorcycle is completely refreshed and the bike runs strong and stops as it should. The sound of the exhaust is really nice as these original pipes are a bit less restrictive than the later HM341 exhausts. Cosmetically the bike is a 9+ with all re-plated hardware and excellent chrome everywhere. The paint on this bike is new, very beautiful and unique for a Honda sold in the United States. The inspiration for the paint came from a Honda CB750 color called "Polynesian Blue Metallic". It was offered only in the European and Japanese markets and was not available in the U.S. It is not the same color as the Candy Blue-Green offered here in the U.S. in 1969 and 1970. Finally, the bike is just plain stunning. Take a look at the photos and see if you agree. This bike would more than hold it's own at a concours show. But good looks aside, I like the fact that the bike works so very well. It is really fun to ride, and for me, I think I would do as much riding as displaying. I am selling this bike on behalf of one of my restoration clients. Questions and/or offers can be directed to me. Feel free to call Bill at (805) 708-1129 Comes with a Clear Arizona Title. The bike is located in Santa Barbara, CA 93105. Shipping costs to the lower 48 States can run between $250-650 depending on your location. Arranging and paying for shipping are the responsibility of the buyer. I do have several shipping contacts that I am happy to share with you. The bike can be stored for several weeks (if paid for) while you arrange your transportation. International buyers are welcome. A deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours and is non-refundable. You're looking at the latest Cafe Racer creation of Magnum Opus Custom Bikes in NC named "The Elegant Ride"This bike is being featured on the major cafè racer websites for its design and attention to details. It starts as a 1975 CB750 SOHC K5 with a modified frame and a freshly rebuilt motor (new piston rings, valve stem seals and all new gaskets (all of them), also a 3 angle valve job was done. The bike has only the testing milage on it (100 mi). Everything else (I mean everything else) has been replaced/upgraded. It's a joy to ride and it handles wonderfully!!! But hey, you're free to park it in your living room and show it to your guests, if you wish !!! With this build we wanted to create a light looking machine without sacrificing the handling and the elegance. We believe we achieved that with The Elegant Ride. A huge amount of effort went into the wiring and the controls, we had to minimize the number of wires/cables that go into the headlight, to get to the neat appearance we wanted. So, we got rid of the original controls to install minimalistic ones and relocating the start button (by hiding it) into a machined triple tree top nut. We wanted to use a headlight without lateral brackets, but we had a hard time finding one with the shape we wanted. We ended up with a very unusual choice, by adapting and installing a headlight that comes from a French car produced in 1948. We modified the body, to allow the installation of a 2.5" speedometer in it. The forks have been taken apart and chromed (they came from a 1978 CB750F), the brake disk, drilled. The old steering ball bearings have been replaced with a new generation of tapered ones and the races replaced. The velocity stacks (with brass screens), hand grips, pegs, tail light and exhaust tip have been machined down on a metal lathe (not CNC), we really spent some time creating these unique pieces by hand, using a bunch of aluminum billets. The gas tank and the seat pan were also handmade and the aluminum polished. The battery we used is a non-spillable gel one, installed under the seat cowl (we also installed a battery tender connector so you won't have to take apart anything to install it). The two original ugly unit (rectifier and regulator) have been replaced with a combo solid state one, installed under the seat along with the new LED blinker unit. ...The bike features custom wiring that led us to eliminate things we don't need or that would take up too much room, this bike now has a single 30 amp fuse , easily reachable on the right side of the bike. Continuing with the list of handmade parts, the starp and the upholstery was made by using , foam pads, and hand-quilted italian leather (100% prime quality leather). As you can see, the oil tank we used it isn't the original one, this particular one was made according to our specifications and professionally TIG welded and pressure tested by a shop here in Wilmington, NC. New oil lines were installed as well. We also installed a new 530 GOLD chain for aesthetical and functional purposes, drilled the rear wheel drum, the chain cover and some of the frame tabs for the same reason. New, vintage firestone tires were used for this build, because we wanted everything to match that period in time. The company's logo was the only thing engaved (cnc'd) onto the points cover. We installed a 4 into 1 kerker exhaust with a custom made exhaust tip. Upgraded the carburetors jet, needles and synchronized everything. Lastly, the hammer engraved name plate was added at the end to give you the feeling of a hand built machine. Please feel free to ask me any question about the bike. Text me here or at 347-235-9405 If you buy local (Wilmington, North Carolina USA) you'll have 30 days/1000 miles warranty as we're sure of the way we built this bike. NO MOTORCYCLE BUILDER GIVES YOU ANY WARRANTY ON A 40 YEARS OLD BIKE, WE DO. We might be able to throw in shipping (insured) for the right offer. Within the USA, NO international. Decided on case to case basis There's no warranty implied or expressed if you buy from out of State / Area or Country (due to possible scams). This unique bike is the result of 400 hours of work. YOU WON'T FIND ANOTHER BIKE ON THE STREET LIKE THIS. Street Legal No low ballers, only reasonable offers will be considered. Clean/Clear NC title in hand as for all our bikes! Buy with confidence as we have 100% positive feedbacks. WE SHIP WORLDWIDE at buyer's expense. 1974 HONDA CB550 with only 10,000 miles 90% original but totally mechanically restored It has new Kenda tires, a brand new chain, new throttle and clutch cables, new battery, new fork seals and fork oil, new spark plugs and plug boots.. Freshly changed the oil 200 miles ago with new oil filter and rebuilt the carbs, also put on a set of black superbike bars and new grips. When I got it it had a charging problem, so I went through all the wiring and it ended up being the stator, so that was replaced and it works great now. The paint is original and it's really nice, but it is faded on the top and there are a few scratches (it's 40 years old!) but there are no dents! This bike literally needs nothing, come take it and ride!

We can ship this motorcycle to your door anywhere in the continental US for $400 This bike is totally original and unrestored. Has the original Bridgestone Super Speed tires from 1978. It's been stored in a garage since 1982, owner finally decided to part with it. Would be an extremely easy restoration, as it's fully complete and unmolested. The chrome on the fenders, headlight brackets, handlebars etc. are nearly flawless. See close up photos. It is missing the original side covers, but they are typically available on Ebay.
