1983 CB1100F Super Bike Up for auction is a 1983 Honda CB1100F Super Sport Super Bike. This 1100F has been restored/rebuilt with several OEM, NOS Honda parts. Motorcycle was disassembled, frame painted, tank replaced with NOS, NOS Fuel Cap and retention strap, front fender, front fairing and fuse cover ALL replaced with NOS, rear seat/fender extension replaced with NOS. NOS odometer/speedometer cluster, Side covers, seat and some other parts are used but in very good condition for 32 year old parts. Rebuilt/reassembled engine performed by Speed Limit (Chicago). Lots of NOS parts used in the engine rebuild...nuts and bolts, etc. NEW Avon tires, NEW Yoshimura 4 into 1 pipe (OEM Exhaust Pipes included with the sale), NEW front and rear brake rotors and front and rear brake pads, NEW front fork seals, NEW wheel bearings, NEW chain, NEW Mighty Max battery, NEW case guards, Carbs rebuilt and jetted, complete tune up, Spectro oil and filter, ALL calipers rebuilt, tires mounted and balanced. A lot of the repairs/rebuilding/parts replaced performed at Honda recently with a $2100 repair bill. This bike is very clean with 271 miles on the odometer. That is the mileage since the bike was redone. Always stored in climate controlled garage. Includes bike cover, Honda tool kit (on motorcycle), Repair manuals, Restoration decal kit, Magazine articles. Not ridden much for the past 5 years. Runs great but a little rich with choke on, plus has old gas in it mixed with new gas. Rides great. Center stand and OEM exhaust included. This is a used motorcycle - and therefore no warranty is expressed or implied. Please ask any questions you have before bidding and do not bid unless you have the funds to complete the purchase. This is the last of the "K" bikes and is a very serious Super Sport motorcycle, given its age. In good condition, has cosmetic wear and tear. Probably driven for less than 5 years of its 32 year life, all of it in Ontario, Canada. Bike is too powerful for my needs and would be better of with someone who will use the full capabilities of the bike. The first owner bought the bike in 1983 and it sat unused for an unknown number of years. Bike was well serviced by the second owner, being the owner of a KTM dealership and a bike collector. I am the third owner and put 2,500 km on it since April 2015. Needs: new tires, fork seals, carburetor cleaning, petcock rebuild. May need: new shocks. Here is a list of improvements completed since 2014: - Front and Rear Master Cylinders rebuilt - Front and rear calipers disassembled and rebuilt with new seals and dust boots - All brake pistons and caliper rods polished and brake pads replaced. - Anti-dive unit rebuilt with OEM parts. - Full tune up with iridium plugs - Valves checked and re shimmed where needed - valve job sheet included. - Clutch Master rebuilt. - Carbs Professionally Rebuilt, Polished, and Synched by Mike Nixon, Motorcycle Project - Front forks disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt using new upper and lower OEM fork bushings. Filled with ATF. - New Fork seals and dust boots installed. - New Regina 530 chain. - New Sealed Battery - CBR F3 Coils installed - ProCom ignitors installed - New OEM AUTO Petcock - New OEM Petcock installed. - Valve cover powder coated and new valve cover, tach drive, and cover bolt gaskets replaced with OEM. - Ignition covers powder coated and new Cometic gasket installed - Headless R6 starter clutch installed. - Joe Alphabet 4 into 1 race header system installed with new OEM exhaust seals. This comes with the original box and all original paper work. Installed right out of the box 5/2015. - Oil pan removed and re powder coated. Gasket replaced with a new Cometic - Oil screen cleaned and all oil seals replaced, including the o-rings from the oil cooler. - Fresh oil change - New Pirelli Sport Demons installed less than 100 miles on them. - Front and rear wheel bearing replaced with new sealed bearings. - Mirrors, starter cover, Ignition cover, front sprocket cover all powder coated. - Left and Right Front Directionals replaced with new OEM cups and stalks. - Original tool Kit - Giuliari seat. - Minor blemishes noted in pictures.
