Nice 1984 Honda CB700SC. I brought this bike back from the graveyard starting in 2009. After getting it running discovered that 2nd gear was weak. Bought a 1985 donor bike and swapped engines/transmission. Runs well. No issues. Turn key. Everything works as it should. The 1985 engine had 7,000 more miles than the 1984 so it's 31,100 on the engine. All stock with the exception of: K&N Air Filter, F2 Brake Rotors, Stainless Steel Brake Lines, Bar End Mirrors, Rear Turn Signals, 150 Rear Tire The following has been done to the bike within the last 5 years: New petcock New lock set (gas cap, ignition switch, and seat lock) Forks rebuilt Brake master cylinder rebuilt Clutch master cylinder rebuilt Clutch slave rebuilt Brake calipers rebuilt Carbs rebuilt Starter rebuilt New tapered neck bearings Gas tank coated with Por-15 New Pirelli Sport Demons installed front and rear last fall, 600 miles ago. Bike comes with the complete, original, 1984 engine which has 19,000 miles on it. Weak 2nd gear. Owners manual. Service manual. Original tool kit. Document box. Bike also comes with tons of spare parts. Extra exhaust, brake rotors, carbs, and boxes of other stuff. I'm sure I've forgotten something. Any questions just ask. 1985 Nighthawk S CB700SC black and blue in excellent condition. The Nighthawk S is hard to find especially in this good of condition and this bike is one of the few that still maintains its original black chrome exhaust. The paint is in excellent condition with no scratches, dents, cracks, or fading. The bike has approximately 25,500 miles on it and has been well maintained. New Dunlop tires front and back are on the bike with less than 500 miles on them. Brakes have been changed with about 1,000 miles on them. Seat upholstery is perfect. Everything functions well on the bike and there are no leaks. The instrument panel is in great condition and the lens is clear. Ttle is clear and in hand. I would completely trust the bike enough to get on it as is and ride it across the country. The Nighthawk S in my opinion is one of the all time best looking bikes.

CLASSIC!! This is a 1984 Honda Nighthawk S CB700SC. You would be hard pressed to find a 84 Nighthawk. This bike has the classic Honda styling, and was hugely praised in its day for handling, seating position, and engine smoothness. Message me today to schedule an appointment to see for yourself! You are bidding on a 1984 Honda Nighthawk S CB700SC parts bike (although most parts are on it). Honda only made this bike from 1984 to 1986. It has less than 15,000 miles on it which is very low for this year. My brother got it used many used many years and was gonna ride it cross country then he heard some noise in the engine. He instead rode another bike and never got this bike back together. Most of the main parts are here frame, seat, fenders, most of engine, exhaust, etc. The engine is mostly together but cylinder heads are not connected to engine. It would make a great parts bike or you can strip another bike to fix this one. I am also including the users manual and repair manual. 2 CB700SC bikes. BIKE 1 - 86, 22k original. Orange/black bike. Runs good. Carb sync performed 8/29/14. Good side covers and tail. Motor does have broken fins, very dented tank left side upper, no leaks. No fuse cover. Has a replacement cluster with rebuilt needles installed and visor. Front fender has been trimmed and painted. New control switches and replacement cables installed. Non OE front fairing installed, stock cowl mount brackets are included with bike. Needs tires, minor other work and parts that are included on the parts bike. I would personally get a rear tire for bike below and use its good front tire and wheels and place them on this unit to have the factory correct black wheel set on this machine. BIKE 2- Non OE paint- 86. Running machine with verified broken shift drum, inside shift cover area. Tranny manually shifted through all gears fine. Placed in neutral now for ease of moving, with shift lever removed.*** NO BODY ITEM other than the broken front cowl***. No fuse cover or air filter(stock, mouse eaten, tossed), cluster or CDI module. Front cowl is busted and not complete. Black motor and wheel set. NO broken fins on motor!! Motor and wheels shined up good for age. Good front tire, near new, still has nubs on it. Carbs cleaned, installed, fired up and purred. Front brakes flushed and bled. Clutch master cleaned and new cap screws installed to replace stripped stock ones. New clutch line installed and clutch system bled.
