For Sale is my 1983 CB1000C motorcycle. They only made these for a single year so they're rare, and this one's in spectacular condition. Some items have been refurbished and restored, but the motorcycle is all original, even the exhaust pipes! No rust, rot, or damaged body panels, and all chrome is in great shape. A good solid bike that is comfortable and fast, that you can ride all day. Braking system was cleaned and rebuilt, new mustang seat cover, new rubber turn signal stalks where needed. I just finished cleaning and synchronizing the carburetors to get it in tip top shape for spring. It's a get on and ride bike, ready for a new owner who will use it more than I am able. The bike is used and sold as is with no warranty.Shipping is not included or offered and is the responsibility of the buyer, but I will be available to assist in loading the motorcycle if necessary. I am selling this motorcycle for a friend who is seriously ill. I have no personal knowledge of the bike. Therefore, the motorcycle is for sale “as is.” However, you can see from the photos the bike is in very good to excellent condition. There are a few small dents on the right side of the fuel tank that are shown in a close up photo. Other miscellaneous nicks, etc. that you would expect from a bike of this age can also be seen in the photos, but overall in beautiful shape for its vintage. A test ride will not be permitted because of the steep curved drive to get to the road and it is not possible to know the riding skills of a potential buyer. The motorcycle starts and runs fine. Also, I can say that he rode the bike regularly and has always been meticulous in maintaining vehicles, particularly this prized bike. Up for bid is a very clean original 1983 CB1000C – a rare and unusual “one year only” classic Honda. I have owned it for the past 4 years, and when first purchased, I had a local reputable motorcycle shop go through it front to back, top to bottom. Carburetors were rebuilt and synchronized, new starter installed, brakes redone amongst other various odds and ends to make it as perfect as possible. Bike runs flawlessly, everything works as it should. Bike also comes with the National Cycle Plexifairing as shown, a Battery Tender hardwired connector, owner's manual and factory shop manual. NO dents in the tank – NO tears in the seat. Paint is shiny, chrome is excellent, slight typical corrosion on some of the original aluminum engine parts. Bike has been stored indoors in a climate controlled garage and only ridden carefully in nice weather since I have owned it. I’d love to keep the bike, but I’m just running out of room.
