CB750 Rat bike project. I have assembled this from several parts bikes, I just don't have time to mess with it anymore and I'm getting ready to move. All it needs is points, a new battery, carbs tuned and float bowls adjusted and it will be running. It currently is not running but the engine ran when I bought it. It has new coils, plugs, cables, a custom oil tank, an led light bar headlight, led turn signals and stoplights. I used rebar for the fender strut, the paint job is rattle canned flat black and meant to chip off and look weathered. I upgraded the front end to a 1976 goldwing dual disc front end, the tires are in pretty good shape, but it needs a front inner tube. I designed a leaf spring seat for a pretty cool look. It has no starter and is kick only, the wiring has been redone so there is no provision for a starter any longer. Alabama doesn't title vehicles this old, so you will get a bill of sale. Thanks for looking.

Originally a 1978 CB750F. A little over 1200 miles since build. As you can tell, it is not even remotely close to what it was. This is a full custom bobber/chopper with every single inch of the bike touched in some way. Custom House of Kolor paint with ghosted green and copper accents. Even the coils, rotors, starter cover and breather cover are painted to match. Looks amazing and has professional show finish; just look at the reflections in the tank!! People were stacked around it at the last show. Removable queen seat and sissy bar. The queen seat makes for a nice back rest on long cruises. Holes in sissy bar are to strap items to should you carry a load. All pegs are custom made brass as are the controls. The passenger pegs are removable if you want to ride solo. Brass inlays on smoothed and polished stator cover and points cover. Custom brass rear blinkers inserted into and wired through the frame. Frame has been completely modified, strengthened, gusseted and repainted HOK gloss black. Just look for the wires, you’ll only see the bare minimum as all are carefully fed into the custom electronics box (Painted to match) with a Ballistic lithium iron battery $$(External charging port). Custom oil tank made of aircraft grade aluminum with proper venting system. Swing arm is extended slightly from stock; about 2.5 inches (Makes for a stable ride at speed!). The stitching on the leather seats is amazing. Euro style double stitched diamond tuck (Green thread to match tank). Engine case covers have been drilled for an awesome look. All suspension lowered with shorty fork legs and shocks with polished fork lowers (New seals). Handlebars are custom made. Upgraded tapered neck bearings. Polished triple trees. Rear Harley rim on Cb750 hub. Front is stock and both are powder coated gloss black with Buchanon’s heavy duty stainless steel spokes$$. Stainless steel engine bolt kit. Oil pressure gauge and custom turned velocity stacks. The exhaust is a modified 4 into 2 with turn up open style ends. Children will cry!! Ricers will cover their ears! Harley riders will weep! The exhaust is loud and sounds great!!! The bike rides awesome and is very stable at speeds due to its low stance and lengthened swing arm. This bike is an absolute work of art and needs nothing! Up for auction is my recently built 1982 Honda cb750. First and foremost this bike is a rider, it was built for greater braking handling and acceleration it is meant to go and less show, however with that said this bike and I have been featured recently in Pipeburn's publications along with being re-posted all over the web and won some trophies in vintage classes at local bike shows, but again its a very clean great looking bike but is not perfect it is after all made mostly with recycled parts from other bikes. Copy and paste this to get to the Pipeburn article: pipeburn.com/home/2015/09/28/honda-cb750-charlie-james-customs.html I wanted to add that I really hate to see this bike go so soon would love to keep it longer for it's publicity but really looking to expand into a bigger building trying to grow our name right now and have other projects I would like to complete, and some one is going to get one heck of a custom CB that not only will grab attention where ever it goes but also has the riding ability to back it up. I could write a book on the efforts to make a bike like this but will just hit the main things: Engine is stock with exception of CB900f camshafts new valve cover gasket, timing/valves adjusted, engine covers polished new gaskets for covers as well as Alloy Bolts hardware. Front end is from a early 90's CBR 600 f2, stock cb750 stem pressed and welded onto cbr lower tree, upper yoke, forks (new fluid and seals), rim, calipers, rotors, fender etc... all from F2. Rear end is mid 90's CBR 600 F3, swing arm, 5" rear wheel with new 48t sprocket, custom shims for pivot bolt, new 530x112 chain, caliper, rotor, etc... Bike Master 7/8 superbike bars mounted to upper tree using vintage KTM bar mounts. 1978 Suzuki GS 550 gas tank with new Pingel Racing petcock adapter plate to run 3/8 male npt type petcocks new Harley style chrome petcock.(paint and prep on tank is good but not perfect) The Bonneville Shop 7" carbon head light bucket added a Halogen lamp that has built in leds wired as front indicators. Carbon looking bar ends and levers. Cone type filters with stainless bands instead of big hose clamps. The hand controls/switches I pulled off a bike I parted out I'm almost positive it was a early 2000's Katana. Polished upper tree and engine side covers not mirror polish didn't want chrome shine but they look great and there is a lot of time into them sanding and polishing. AceWell digital speedometer 3700mx has speed tachometer hi beam indicator neutral light + more not there best but very fitting for this type of machine. Honda cbr rear sets with new foot rests (pegs).. Custom sub frame with a very comfortable coffee bean color cafe style seat with a small wrapped hump. Dunlop Sport Max Q2 tires 180/55/17 rear and 120/70/17 front. Integrated Led tail light strip with signals. New old stock OEM Suzuki gas cap for tank. New ytx9bs AGM battery in a fabricated battery box located under bike, behind rear of engine also using a Suzuki battery strap. Vance and Hines Vintage 4into1 in great shape with baffles in tact very nice sound and loud when you open it up New jets from Dime City 70/122 this combo has been working great for me here in Ohio obviously if you take the bike to different elevation or cold/hotter/humid etc.. it may need adjusted to your area. Inside of carbs cleaned inspected replaced some hardware out sides brushed off and lightly solvent cleaned but the engine cases and carbs still have there original finish so there is dirt/grime chips to finish on motor, I really don't like to paint motors always feels like your hiding something this bike has been around for 30+ years its heart (engine) earned that finish! Stock wire harness has been shortened but everything is still there everything is neatly tucked wrapped and hidden, under tank houses flasher relay, fuse panel and solenoid, under the sub frame towards front of seat mounted are the igniters and r/r. There is labeled wires in the headlight bucket for a horn they are already wired to the switch I can even throw in a used horn if your state requires one, I thought maybe get a new small one and hide it in the bucket itself should be enough room. I am sure I didn't touch on every little detail like new bearings and hardware through out but I imagine you get the most of it and there is a walk around video plus lot's of pictures. Being as it is a old bike there is no warranty but you and whoever owns the bike in the future will get and endless supply of help with any questions about the bike how things were done I will even work on the bike maintenance if your near by or can bring it to me. Basically whatever support I can give and others who have bought my bikes metal art etc... can attest to that. Any questions just ask and thanks for looking. This is a comfortable low mileage bike that runs smooth and shifts fine and stops well. This bike had a mint set of gauges that say 700 Seven Hundred!! No shit. we still have them. The previous owner swore the odometer on the title we handed to the secretary of state. Smooth engine, no smoke, no noise. The front tire is an original, and the front brake rotor shows no wear. It is lowered, and has a hog wheel on it, which shows some rust, unlike the rest of this clean bike. It had a 4x4 cross chopper pipe set in mint condition, but was so low the bike would not turn, and there was not a mark on them, I sold them and put this nice 4 into 1 on it. The seat is an original pan, cut to fit the 78 supersport gas tank. It has a new petcock installed as well. I took the carbs off to clean them and after setting since 1992 they needed nothing. I am the 3rd owner, the second owner bought it in 1991, from his friend who bought it new, and sold it with 650 miles on the odometer. The tank, breather, and bodywork were lost in a fire while off the bike in a separate building. It was never ridden by the 2nd owner. It has a new battery, and all lights work. It has an H1 Kawasaki tail light, because I like it. We still have the 700 mile gauges, but they are on the 74 we restored. The cut seat, lowering kit, and CB500 shocks set this bike low enough that with a 28 inseam I am well comfortable on this bike. It has an Emgo bullet fairing. There is a whole set of finned aftermarket covers on the engine including 4 very rare vintage valve adjuster finned covers. There is no chain damage on the engine, we check them all. Mileage is unknown, but was honestly sworn at 698 miles by Previous owners. We make NO such claim, unknown miles per seller. It has had some leaks at the Alternator cover they are fixed. I have ridden this bike 4 or 5 miles and in that time frame no odd noises no jumping in and out of gear.Picture of the bike in burgundy is the we got it. not a scratch in the exhaust that would rub on every corner. AS IS ASK ALL QUESTIONS FIRST Deposit of $400 due immediately at auction end total to be paid in CASH. If you want to use paypal you will pay the fees not me. The bike can stay in a dry indoor storage for 60 days any longer and you will have to make arrangements first.

1975 Honda CB750 Chopper/Bobber. Early Santee Hardtail / Rigid frame. Old school hand etched covers and valve cover, this is a lost art. Valve cover bolts have been turned down, recessed and gold plated all done in the 70's. The rest of the hardware is stainless.Tons invested. New Cycle X rims, chrome with turned centers. Cycle X exhaust. Dyna S ignition. New tires, lot of one off parts, 1953 DOT trials bike NOS gas tank. New Chain, Motad battery, Twisted bars, Big Daddy Ed Roth peace sign tail light, Hand pinstripe, Custom water jetted pieces, Way too much to list......his bike has tons of character and very cool patina. Registered in my name... Tons of receipts. Have all documentation, lots of history here. Have all documentation.. Not your average Honda Chopper. This bike is very unique and has correct patina for its vintage. Everything works as it should and the bike always attracts a crowd. Although the bike has a lot of new parts it is still 40 years old, so please do not expect a new bike. Runs great, trans shifts smoothly. The bike is turn key and ready to go, needs nothing. If you are local fell free to contact me and come by to take a look. All shipping and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer.
