Twistit Motorsports Is proud to offer up its very own Blackbird 1100XX. If you do not know what this bike is.... it is not the bike for you!! This bike IS 164 hp (@ the crank) 91.5 ft.lbs of torque, Sport Touring bike. You can put this bike into 6th gear and bring it down to idle speed (21 mph) and open the throttle it will pull with no hesitation. Translation: This machine will go from 21 MPH to 180 MPH without having to shift! The handlebars are high and the footpegs are low for easy riding at any distance. I personally build and race motorcycles for a living, and bought this bike for myself. (I can buy any bike I want and this is the one I picked) After 20+ years of diehard motorcycling in every way imaginable my passions have shifted. Boats are my new motorcycles and this one is not being used as it should. So it is open for sale to someone who will use it as intended.The machine has never been Raced, Wheelied, Crashed or abused in ANY way. I own a motorcycle shop and have bikes for those purposes. This machine has been babied and pampered its whole life by myself and the previous owner whom is a State Trooper.Mechanically sound. all components work as they should. Tires, Brake Pads and chain where replaced 4000 miles ago. Cosmetically there is a ding in the fuel tank about an inch up from the center of the seat. (The paint is not compromised ) I have seen flaws in the paint in a few spots where maybe some road debris has nicked it. (To be expected)Aftermarket accessories include: An ERION Racing full titanium exhaust system which was professionally installed and is flawless. Carbs. were jetted at the time of install. Corbin custom saddle a.k.a. CORBIN Seat. Twistit motorsports LOGO installed on left and right fairings (Can easily be removed). There is a hand painted palm tree on the rear tail section it does not take away from the look of the bike so I did not remove it.This is a beautiful bike that is priced right, I am not in need of money so no low ballers. I have an enclosed trailer and will deliver for $2.00 a mile calculated one way from zipcode 44278. (Paid in full in advance) I would prefer the prospective buyer to view the bike agree that it is what they want and ride it home though. Excellent condition.This may be the nicest Blackbird in the US. I am the second owner. Reg Pridmore (AMA Superbike Champion) was the first owner. The bike is basically stock. It has an aftermarket windscreen and Ohlins rear shock. It has never been dropped. There is a small crack near the middle of the front fender. It has new tires and a set of Erion slip-on mufflers. The decals on the bike were installed by Reg and have not been clear coated. Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping arrangements and associated costs. Located in Tryon, North Carolina. The Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird is sensible and utterly insane in one nicely presented Honda package. One of the best all-round motorcycles out there. Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird rivals are plentiful but none match this proven motorcycle. The Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird's in-line four is a conventional layout but it works well producing acceptable low down power, muscular midrange and a top end rush that gobbles up any straight in seconds. Twin balance shafts mean it’s so smooth it can be rigid mounted making the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird lighter and stiffer overall. Problems with the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird are almost non-existent even at huge mileages. Neutral and stable – but there’s no getting away from the fact the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird weighs 223kg. The latest sports bikes come in under 170kg so on tight roads the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird may get left behind a little. Front and rear brakes are linked – it’s an effective system that works well in the wet but experts may dislike it and overhauls are costly.The Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird's build quality is better than pretty much anything out there on two wheels. You are bidding on a 1997 CBR1100XX Super Blackbird. She runs and rides like new. No leaks, no problems, everything works. I'm still riding it so the miles may go up a little. The carburetors were synced at the beginning of this season and the tires are in great shape. This bike is FAST. You won't be disappointed. She is incredibly smooth and easy mannered until you twist the happy grip. At the end of 1st gear near 70mph if you are still hanging on to the throttle she will be starting to lift and float the front wheel. Really a thrill to ride. Being nearly 20 years old and used it has small cosmetic flaws. Nothing to write home about. Small scratches, chips, etc. The left muffler has scrapes as you can see in the pictures. There is nothing structurally or mechanically wrong. It has a clean and clear title in my name as it's one of my personal bikes, and hasn't been wrecked. I'm available for pickups mostly during the days in Mahwah NJ 07430.
