Founded on the principle of adding a big Chevrolet V8 into the frame of a motorcycle and or trike, Boss Hoss has become one of the most unique and distinguished motorcycle manufactures in the industry. These motorcycles and trikes are affectionately called the “big scooters” because Boss Hoss managed to decrease the engine vibration drastically compared to the V-twins of the competition. The reason being the engines mass, balanced cylinder layout, and tall gears provide a dampening effect and vibration free acceleration. This Boss Hoss trike is in fantastic condition; painted in a deep Candy Brandy Wine red this Boss Hoss is an attention getter and crowd pleaser! The paint is in very good condition, with only minor swirl marks around the gas tank and rear fenders, otherwise it shows very well. On the rear trunk a V8 emblem with other black paint work has been added, which is very tastefully done. Despite its age I have found myself uncovering this beautiful 2001 FLSTFI Fat Boy more times than I care to count just to gaze at the chrome and condition of a bike this age. The first person to see this bike in person WILL buy it, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind. I rarely even consider purchasing bikes older than 2002, but this one just simply couldnt be passed up. I purchased this great looking ride from I.G. Burton Chevrolet in Milford, DE just two hours south of me where it was traded on a new vehicle. This bike was sold new at the former Mike's Famous Harley Davidson in Wilmington, DE and has been very well cared for by the previous owner. When you get right down to it, riding a Harley is all about attitude and this well preserved 2001 FLSTFI Fat Boy has all the classic styling and comfort a seasoned rider could ever want. The 2001 FLSTFI Fat Boy offers the look and feel that real attitude deserves. This impressive looking Fat Boy is in extremely nice condition as you would expect from one with only 16,264 miles. This show stopper has no other visible dents, dings or damage that I noticed while giving it my personal inspection and detail other than one small touch up spot on the rear fender. You'll walk past it a half dozen times before you ever see it and then you'll need your nose four incheses from it. Overall the bike is in excellent condition and all components work as they should. All the chrome and body parts are in well above average condition. The front and rear tires are 90% or better. The Flame stitched leather Corbin seat is like new. The bike has had wonderful care with gleaming chrome from top to bottom and front to back. So take a minute to get an eyeful of this behemoth on wheels.
