Okay. Just like you, I know the chopper craze is over. However, if you think about it, what that will do will be to eliminate all the half-done amateur bikes, the wannabes, the homebuilts, the tacky overdone "theme bikes," and all the other custom bikes of low or dubious quality. What will survive will be the beautiful sculptural pieces of rolling art like the motorcycle I have listed here. This particular bike has a story. It was bought from the manufacturer, Precious Metals Customs in Woodstock, GA, by Lynn Jones of Lynnco Custom Cycles in Cleveland, TN, with the intent of donating it as a fund-raiser for the Mary Ellen Locher Foundation of Chattanooga. The exquisite paint and pinstriping were done by Chris Cruz Artistry of DeLand, FL. The motor is a completely polished 100 ci Ultima, transmission is a polished Baker 6-speed, and forks are by American Suspension. It has a 3-inch belt primary drive, all chrome. The oil tank is hidden under the transmission and the rear brake is a drilled disc located on the transmission countershaft. It has a 300-series rear tire and the three-spoke wheels are beautifully chromed. Every weld on the frame is perfectly smoothed giving the appearance that is was molded out of one continuous piece of tubing. All lines and wiring are routed internally through the frame or fork tubes giving is an extremely clean appearance. There are no handlebar controls and no speedometer or tachometer. Since there is no speedometer, I do not know the mileage, but it is obviously very low. I listed 1000 miles in this ad as I was forced to enter a number by eBay. The motorcycle was given away as the grand prize of a fundraising raffle for the Foundation at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival in 2007. The Steve Miller Band was the headline act that year, so Steve Miller signed the tank in gold. Small paint drops were added to symbolize the fireworks at the festival and the signature was clear-coated along with the rest of the paint. The bike was named The Eagle by Lynnco after the famous Steve Miller Band song and the eagle heads Cruz painted on the sides of the tank. I cannot stress enough the quality of the this bike. The paint is absolutely gorgeous. The chrome is flawless. It is truly a piece of rolling sculpture that looks as though it belongs in a museum. It is completely rideable and ready to go right now. It has been ridden in the past, so it is not absolutely perfect, but it is very nearly so. I really need to sell it and I will happily consider any and all cash offers or partial or even trades. I did not win this bike. I am the third owner and got it in a trade myself. Any trade offer you present will be considered and I will respond to it. I am putting up my personal chopper up for sale. I installed a brand new Chrome 107 S&s motor from the factory with IST ignition system. The drivetrain also includes a new 2 inch ultima belt drive with a 6 speed transmission. The drivetrain sits on a Nickel plated, Diamond Frame with a very nice wish bone going down the front tubes. The bike has matte black tank and back fender that goes over the 300 rear tire. The wheels are from HDW wheels in L.A. They are dipped in 14k Gold, and there is 120 spokes on each wheel. I cruise with my friends that have harleys but they don't get as much attention as my bike does. That nickel plated frame does it! I smash pipes all down beverly hills and hollywood blvd pulling up like a super star. You can catch me at the saddle ranch having a brew. Bike has around 750 miles. This bike was custom painted by Justine Barnes who was the original painter for OCC on all there original theme bikes from the American chopper TV show on the discovery channel. He is famous for painting the POW MIA bike and the FIREMAN bike and many more. The fabrication work that went into making the gas tank and fender on this bike is truly a work of art! I do have an extra primary belt and the blinker module for the signals in hand.The oil tank is built into the rear wheel fender and the battery and ignition switch are located under the seat. It is a 1998 Ultra Ground Pounder chopper; I took the engine, transmission, and primary out of it for another project -- everything else is there. The bike only has 4,970 original miles! The bike sat in a show room for about 10 years, which explains why it is still in such great condition. He told me the frame is stretched 2-inches up front and 2-inches in the rear, making it ride surprisingly nice! It has all sorts of great components on it, including Ultra billet forward controls, Performance Machine brake calipers, polished handlebars and hand controls, polished oil tank, LED brake light, and has a 180-rear tire. Here is a 1999 fire breathing dragon built by Extreme Choppers out of Las Vegas. I purchased this bike with a bad starter so, I bought an Ultima thunderfire 2.0 high output starter and it fired right up. This beast is powered by a 131ci Merch motor which runs excellent. I have receipts from previous owner for thousands in upgrades to motor. Has 3 inch open belt with five speed transmission. Has a 230 rear wheel. Frame is a softail. The bike sat in storage for the majority of it`s life and unfortunately a few pieces have some pitting(The rear brake caliper and mirror are the worst). Also, there are scratches and chips here and there. The tank has a small spot on left hand side where triple hit is(small and could be easily repaired). Not a show bike very respectful looking. .
