Restored using NOS Honda Genuine Parts where needed. Fuel tank was split, sandblasted, welded back together, then coated inside with the patented Renu process, sealing out rust and corrosion. We did not "lock in" loose rust. The outside of the fuel tank was professionally painted the OEM silver color using a base-coat/clear-coat process. The frame is the original finish with some minor deflects. The original chrome in very nice condition for forty plus years old. Original engine has great compression and runs well. Original exhaust is rust free and chrome is in excellent condition. All electrical items work as designed - head light (both beams), brake lights, turn signals, speedometer lights, neutral light, high beam indicator light, turn signal indicator light and horn. No title - notarized bill of sale will be provided. Frame VIN: CL70-1310214 (4/72)Engine VIN: CL70E-1310289

This is a 1967 Honda CL77 from the Hamilton Honda Motorcycle collection in Apache Junction, Arizona. This CL77 has been on display in our collection until recently when it was move out to make room for new acquisitions. This Honda 305 is an original rider in very good condition and drives well. It has had a recent service including new clutch, new battery, carburetors cleaned and reset, and new points and condenser. It has new Dunlop K70 tires as the original tires are no longer available. The tank, fenders and side covers were professionally painted by Dave Wedlake of Portland, Oregon a few years ago. The remainder of the bike is original. This bike was a trade-in at Bob Lamphere’s Beaverton Honda in Portland, Oregon many years ago. It was reconditioned by the Lamphere staff back then and when the original speedometer was found to be faulty, it was replaced with a NOS one from stock. That is why the odometer shows close to no miles on the bike. The actual miles are unknown. The bike was on display at the Beaverton dealership for many years before we obtained it. Please note that this CL77 has straight pipes and no silencer. There are some slight tears in the seat cover as shown in the pictures. Wheel rims have slight discolored areas common to this model after 50 years. The CL77 has a clear Washington State title. Note: A comparable CL77 sold at the Mecum Las Vegas auction on January 26, 2017 for $7000 plus 10% commission. Details can be found on Mecum.com LV motorcycle auction results page. Please Note: Bidders with feedback scores of less than 10 and/or outside of the USA and Canada must have permission before bidding, otherwise their bids may be canceled.

This is 1965 Honda CL77 305 scrambler although its doesn't look the part but the only wrong parts are gas tank, headlight and speedo ( I think off of a mid 70s Honda 360 ?)all just bolt on parts don't know what the thought process was ther . The rest seems all original, no noticeable missing parts very complete. Motor turns freely with good compression, carbs will probably need rebuilt or at least cleaned everything is all in tact its was running until one fall it got parked for the season and never left the back of the of garage again. I purchased this and another 305 out of an estate that sat beside it parked same year, going to hold on to the other for a while. All its a great winter project won't take much to get it running. the replaced parts are fairly easy to find, so restore it , replace and ride it as the survivor it is, or heaven for bid ride like this. I have a clean clear title in hand in my name with bikes this old (51 years) don't have one Any questions don't hesitate to call 330 553 1946Tom Weatherby$650 or reasonable offer open to trades

Time to let someone else enjoy my classic. Just turned 70 and can't ride a motorcycle anymore- doctor's orders. Too shakey, replacement hip joint, ruptured back disc. This old Vietnam Vet is shot to heck. Don't want the bike to just sit in the garage, let it pass to someone who will enjoy it. This is THE 305 Scrambler to have as it is the eye catching Honda Scarlet (red) and silver. I had the far more common Black and silver bike back in 1965 as a kid in the Air Force. I would estimate that only 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 of the 305 Scramblers were the red and silver, by far there were a lot more of the less flashy black and silver bikes. And so it is today. The bike that gets the stares, the bike that get the raves is the red and silver. It is THE ONE to have, colorwise. And original red and silvers will bring the highest money. Look at the pictures and tell me the red and silver isn't the best color combination. And, they don't grow on trees. I have had this bike about 10 years. Came from a museum in Kansas. I have some receipts. The cylinder head was bored (350 Wisco Kit? I can't prove it.) and new pistons, bearings, chain, etc. done. Top end is quiet because of the money spent. IT NEEDS CLUTCHwork. It is drivable, I have put about 200 miles on it over the last decade. Email me and I'll discuss the work needed which will cost about $400 estimated by Honda expert and friend of mine, Bill Silvers who wrote the Honda Buyer's Guide for Motorbooks a few years back. I HAVE ADJUSTED MY PRICE $500 DOWN TO GIVE YOU THE ROOM TO HAVE THE CLUTCHWORK DONE AND HAVE A PAINTSHOP TOUCH UP MINOR SCRATCHES ON THE TANK AND REAR FENDER AND ONE FRONT FORK. I also include a box full of used parts to include a complete clutchbasket for any needed spare parts and no charge with the bike. Extra carbs, rare seamed gas tank and more. Free with the bike at the Buy It Now Price. I am not one to take advantage of a buyer, please email for any further details. This bike is a nice piece, not perfect, but about a 95 out of 100, points Show. Could be 98 or 99 with very little expense, but then it is not something you want to ride--and riding this bike brings back memories of that deep bass exhaust roar with the Snuff-Or-Nots wide open. That sounds on these Scramblers is what MADE HONDA in the 1960's. Once you heard it, you will never forget it. Music. That scared Harley, Triumph, BSA, and Lambretta owners! This is a nice bike. I put expensive electronic ignition on it and what a difference that made for the better. I live at 5,000 feet and gas here is crap. It has so much alcohol in it I have had to have the carbs cleaned of a white residue twice in 4 years of living here. I had the carbs cleaned last fall and the tank is mostly empty and the maintenance free battery was new 2 years ago and has been kept on a Battery Tender. I have a pigtail that comes out from under the seat so the battery can be charged without removing the seat. The bike should start and run with the addition of new gas. Tires are matched and excellent. Tool kit under seat. Here is why my price is very fair. Much NOS was obtained for this bike 20 years ago. The chrome on the rims front and rear is gorgeous. NO PITS from standing water like happens to these rims. Are they NOS from when the museum did the bike in the 1990's? I don't have proof, but they sure look NOS. The horn is NOS, taillight, chain, and a few other parts, hard to find today. A bargain for the new owner. The "HONDA" front fender racing plaque and headlight Honda Wing are repops from Thailand. This is a darn nice bike. The price is very fair. The condition is excellent with room for minor improvements. THE COLOR IS RIGHT!!!!! FOB Kanab, Utah. Please buy my bike, give it a good home beyond my lifetime and your money will help me pay medical bills to try and fix as best that can be done the ruptured disc in my back beyond what Obama will pay.
