For your consideration is my 1982 CR125. When I bought this bike a few years ago it had a new 1st over piston but had not been started because the owner was looking for a clutch cover to replace the rotted out factory magnesium cover. I found a 1981 aluminum cover (a must and hard to find) and installed it. After firing the bike up it lasted about 5 minutes before a circlip came loose and tore it all up. I pulled the engine and sent the bottom off for a new polished rod kit, seals and main bearings. The cylinder had to be bored to a fourth over Wiseco and has had the exhaust bridge clearanced. In addition the piston had oil holes drilled where it rides next to the bridge. Other details: fresh rear suspension grease, all bearings including wheel bearings are tight, Boyesen reeds installed, Answer Alumilite bars, Fly Racing adjust on the fly levers, new tires, optional 12 tooth front sprocket, radiators cleaned and are not damaged, footpegs have been widened, shifter lengthened 1/2 inch, fenders and shrouds have been painted at some point, the rest is original. This is a low time bike as evidenced by the original seat cover, side panel decals and background paint and factory sprockets. I have ridden the bike one practice day and at one race. I rode it hard and it performed flawlessly. The bike always starts easy and has been run on 100 octane fuel with Maxima 927 at 20/1. The pegs are tight, the shock feels nice, the brakes are great and the clutch and transmission feel like new. The ignition cover has had some cracks repaired but works perfect. I have the original bars, new 5th and 6th Wiseco pistons, factory manual, original fork spring spacers (longer in place now), original fork boots (one torn) and new Shox socks. I also have new forks seals that will need put in as the originals are dribbling. I feel confident the new owner will be extremely pleased with the bike as it feels tight and fresh. My reason for selling? I'm 250lbs and have decided to stick with 250's. the bike will be sold on a a BILL OF SALE.
