1982 Husqvarna 430 CR, Beautifully preserved UNRESTORED very low time 430CR. Original paint on frame and tank! Original foot pegs straight, sharp and not sagged. Only three AHRMA races on this bike a few years ago! It won all three...Been in clean, dry storage since due to back surgery. Prior to this it was a very low-time, clean trail bike that had never been raced or abused. I bought this bike to vintage race because of how clean, tight and original it was. Comes with clean original full set of plastic and bars, perfect original pipe and silencer, original wheels and sprockets and original shocks. All of the original parts are in excellent condition. Installed are BRAND SPANKING NEW WHEEL ASSEMBLIES. DID RIMS AND TIRES built up on powder coated OEM hubs, upgraded double-leading brake shoe set-up on front, Original 1982 Pro Circuit pipe and aluminum Answer Products silencer!! I recently purchased this bike from a family member of the owner who bought it new in 84 the bike has been sitting for years I took it home and went through it and got it running and looking good I did replace plastics just for fun the stock plastics are still in decent condition. I've worked at a honda shop in the past I enjoy working on old bikes I never intended to keep bike just a challenge to get them running and looking good. This bike would make a awesome bike to restore or just to ride maybe even race. I never intended on keeping it so actually you will be second owner. I did ride bike in yard to make sure everything was functioning like it should and it dose. Bike Has no missing parts from what I can tell and runs great and shifts, brakes, handles like should. The bike has been ridden not by me so there is some normal wear on motor covers clutch and stator cover frame is rubbed just a little wear footpegs are.which make me think this guy didn't ride it much or at least hard. Bike leakes no oil gas or any fluid. On major flaw I could see is two inch long tears one on each side at bottom of the seat I was going to replace seat cover but am not because its original and plan to keep it that way I didn't alter anything when putting plastics on either all original hardware This is a very nice straight clean bike for its age for anymore info please contact me. 1982 Honda CR250R Exceptionally Clean Perfect Restoration Project I purchased this bike two years ago with the intention of restoration. This was truly a "barn find" Honda CR250R. It has had 2 owners, still has the original tires, perfectly straight wheels, and also includes a binder of history that adds to the value of the bike.Since the CR did need a new clutch/water pump cover, I was able to obtain a perfect (mint) 1981 aluminum cover which was difficult to find. (The 1982 CR 250R came with a magnesium cover which was prone to failure). The CR had piston failure the last time it was ridden 20-25 years ago. Although I have not removed the cylinder for inspection, I would assume that the cylinder would be a good candidate for refinishing as well. The only other item the bike would need is the installation of the aluminum clutch/water pump cover which is included. The CR is fully clean, detailed, and ready for immediate delivery. Original shop manual, MSO from Honda, and a binder full of articles/tips/info from the era of moto racing is included. I will assist in any way with shipping the bike to you. This is a 1982 CR 125. It is a complete bike but a little bit of a project. Overall it is in amazing shape. The compression is somewhat low and it will only start if push started.It shifts through all the gears fine, clutch works fine. The rear shock has good dampening and does not leak, the linkage is not all sloppy either. The water pump area does show some corrosion but is usable. It has Evans waterless coolant in it. Th bad... the a previous owner apparently liked the color black and spray painted the frame and even the spokes. (YUCK!) I have not attempted to remove the paint. It has the following new parts: 1) left and right DC Plastics side panels 2) DC Plastics front number plate 3) New Moose bars 4) new grips 5) New aftermarket aluminum radiators. 6) New rear tire ( wear from a few zips up my dead end street ) I would be happy to show this bike in person if requested. It is located in Baldwinsville, NY 13027. It would make and excellent easy restoration project OR with a little TLC a great trail bike. It is NOT a museum piece. 1982 CR480R I got this bike in package deal, got the bike I wanted out of it. This is a very nice, low hours orginal condtion 1982 Husqvarna 430cr. It has a new Michelin front and Bridgestone rear tires. No dents or scratches to the tank and no pitting on the forks. It has new fork oil and seals and new swing arm bushings. It has good spark and compression. I put gas in the float bowl and it started and ran till the gas was gone. I have not put gas in the tank to try and ride it.This bike was in my brothers collection for many years but he never did ride it.He has passed away and Im selling it to settle his estate.
