75 Honda CR125, purchased a little over a year ago (before and after pics) started to clean it up and ended up going all the way. Discovered bike was sleeved down to 100cc when pulled apart and left it that way with new top end. To many new parts to list, powder coating local and chroming through Spacecoast Plating. Forks have been hard plated. Starts, idles and runs well on the top end, bogs on the bottom, needs to be jetted and timed as i'm not much of a tuner on the older stuff just thought it would be a fun project. Comes with two tanks one for show and one for go (plastic) as the steel tank has to much internal rust to seal properly (painted twice due to internal rust). Before/After photos. I have a fair amount of pictures in my photo bucket that shows most of the stages of teardown and reassembly. Relisting motorcycle, the previous auction winner was excellent at bidding but not so good at paying. Up for auction is a beautifully restored 1975 Honda CR125 motocross bike. This is a rather unique vintage motocross machine with numerous rare NOS parts and custom made light weight parts that set it apart from a stock machine. On top of the machine is an FMF RC Replica fiberglass fuel tank. It's much lighter than the stock steel tank and the rest of the bike was painted to match the original red gelcoat of the tank. The rebuilt engine features a perfect FMF Porcupine head with no broken fins or pitted areas in the dome. The exhaust is a rare NOS FMF Pro pipe with zero dents or scratches. The swingarm is an FMF issued Redline Chromoly unit with bronze swingarm bushings and newly machined aluminum axle blocks. The carburetor is an upgraded Mikuni carb that was the hot ticket back in '75. The rear suspension features NOS Redwing Shocks and the front forks have been rebuilt and contain the FMF Air/Oil Conversion caps. Custom features include a lightweight aluminum kickstarter that replaces the heavy and floppy steel stock item and a billet aluminum pipe hanger. The factory footpegs have also been widened with weld-on extensions to make them much more comfortable for the rider. Heavy-duty Terry cables were used along with all new hand controls and grips. The seat is completely restored. The seat pan is new along with the taller GP foam and matching cover with the Honda logo printed on the back. The rest of the bike is pure 1975 Honda and not a mix of other year CR parts. The motor is the correct '75 engine with a perfect ignition cover and no chain damage to the cases The rims, hubs and forks are also correct for '75. The frame is in great condition and the footpegs are straight and level. Included with the bike is a custom made axle stand to display the bike and the original kickstand tab is still on the frame if you wanted to add a kickstand to the machine. Purchased earlier this year on ebay complete but had been in storage since the late 1990's. Had been "restored" for showroom duty for a dealership and has had many items replaced. Since purchase I have gone back through and repaired and serviced most items to race ready. However I have decided to let it go in favor of something more exotic like a Maico or a Puch. Motor has good compression, starts, runs and idles good. Clutch operates and shifts good ( Have not ridden to attest gear operation) Left case shows usual chain damage (so it is missing serial number plate) Fuel tank has newer paint but shows several bubble spots on top as seen in photos. Fenders, Side covers & Front number plates are new. Carburator is clean, has new bowl gasket and does not leak. DG exhaust is new. Redwing hammerhead shocks are new. This is an original, never been restored, 1975 Honda CR125M Elsinore. I purchased this motorcycle in 1980 and then moved from Washington State to South Dakota in 1983. This motorcycle has been stored in a climate controlled basement at my folks house since 1984. I recently moved it from the folks basement to my garage, and drained and flushed all fluids to include flushing the gas tank. Filled crankcase with new oil and mixed new gas and oil mixture. Performed other maintenance operations such as air filter cleaning and installed new handle-bar grips. Turned gas on and choked, and with a couple kicks of the kick-starter it fired up and ran like it did when I put it into storage. This bike is not perfect, It is 41 years old. I repaired a crack in the rear fender from when I purchased it back in 1980, and also the gear shift lever was replaced at that time. Look at the pictures, do your research, these bikes restored go from 7K to 8K. I have not found an original one in this condition in the past 2 years of research.

This is the most fully documented Kawasaki Rickman CR I have ever seen with all of the invoices and paper work dating back to 1975. The bike has the full build sheet of the engine by RC engineering and paper work from Vetter fairing listing this bike as # 13 imported into the US. This is the holy grail in Rickman's in my book and one of the nicest bikes in my collection. I found this bike back in 2011 which was owned by a collector who mostly collected old Harleys and British bikes. He said he had always been fond of the Kawasaki Rickman and after looking at better than a dozen of them this was the purest and the most documented bike he had seen or found. The bike was stored and not run since the late 1980,s. This is an early Rickman kit with a frame date of 12/74 and I have heard that there were approximately 168 of the early style kits. The body work including the tank is all fiberglass. The bike is also title as a Rickman not Kawasaki. Like I said I have all the documentation on this bike right down to the assembly tag and the complete shim kit for rear swing arm/chain adjustment. I am going to read off the build sheet below. Chassis: Nickel plated frame & swing arm made from Reynolds 531 manganese molybdenum tubing. Borrani aluminum alloy rims laced to Rickman Brothers own hubs carry Dunlop K-81 tires with Lockheed dual piston disc brakes front and rear. Front forks are Rickman with 40mm sliders. Rear shocks are Girling. Extensive use of heim joints and aircraft quality Nylok nuts. Body work is color impregnated fiberglass with a 4 gallon fuel tank and a 3/4 windscreen. This chassis has less than 500 miles of use on it, all done with stock engine. Frame # 4699m and engine # Z1E34787 Engine: Taken from a wrecked bike with less than 2000 miles, this engine has been professionally rebuilt as an 1105 cc motor, with a 10:1 compression ratio, RC forged aluminum pistons, RC Engineering competition ported and polished cylinder head, Norris 407s high performance camshafts with triple valve springs and titanium retainers. Engine has chrome moly cylinder studs, copper coated alloy head gasket, K+N air filters and a Winning Performance 4 into 1 exhaust system. Approximately 125 horsepower to the rear wheel via a Denselube super chain. I did completely disassemble the bike clean and polish the frame and engine. I did detail the engine and check all valve clearances. A list of new parts I have installed on the bike is, new D.I.D chain, Dunlop D 404 tires and new stainless steel Buchanan spokes, new sealed battery, rebuilt front and rear brake master cylinders as well as both calipers, new air filters and new windshiled. The bike has brand new decals and paint and was painted by a professional who has had more than a half dozen bikes on the cover of Bagger Magazine and the paint is show quality as is the bike. The bike has a full Yoshimura racing exhaust now but I have the original exhaust it was built with that needs re chroming. I also have the original tank strap and other parts. The engine has had less than 1500 on since it was built. The gauges are unrestored in mint condition with 3896 miles on the speedo. I restored the handlebar switches and they are both 74 coded. I have a file 1 1/2 inches thick with an invoice for everything done to this bike since it was built! The bike runs very strong and everything works as it should with no issues! This motor was built by Rc engineering and the legendary Russ Collins who built Craig Vetters Rickman when he raced as a novice in Daytona back in the mid 70,s and it goes like hell! The only small flaws are light pitting on the top caps of the front forks, small ding on the # 4 front exhaust pipe and a light scratch on the rear of the chain guard. The frame plating is still in very nice condition for its age. The bike is not perfect but I would rate it a 9 out of 10 and would steal the show in any vintage Japanese bike show! I have a beautiful 1975/74 CZ 250 Falta. This bike belonged to the Late Don Matthews. Don was a foremost CZ racer and builder in Ahrma and Pacific Northwest vintage motocross scene. He was a friend and a great person. The CZ World Championships ( Don Matthews) is dedicated to his memory. The title has 1974 CZ. The frame has a falta kit and powder coated. Falta top end 4 speed tranny. Works shocks, aftermarket fenders, brake stay/chain guide. It has bing carb and reed valve box. Aftermarket race pipe. I am not a CZ expert at all!! I tried to race it but after 15 years of 4 stroke racing it just doesn't work for me. There has been a lot of good work done to this bike . 1974 Honda MR50 Elsinore A little History on the Honda MR50 Elsinore; It is an off road mini cycle made by Honda. It was manufactured in Japan by Honda and imported first to Australia and the United States in 1974 and continued to be available in the USA, Canada and Australia until production was discontinued in 1975. It was patterned after the CR125 and CR250 Elsinores. Like its big brothers it has spoke wheels, knobby tires, and plastic fenders. The engine was a 49 cc (3.0 cu in), air-cooled, two-stroke with 3 speed manual clutch transmission. Starting is a primary kick on the right side of the bike. The bike used conventional controls just like larger models. The shift pattern is neutral at the bottom and 3 up. Lubrication; premix at 25:1. The exhaust has a spark arrestor. This bike's mechanicals have been restored; with the engine and transmission rebuilt, new clutch, frame sandblasted and powder coated. Wheels have been professionally trued.
