Here is a very nice 1960 Cushman Super Eagle. 8hp, 2spd trams, working lights, horn, clear Texas title. Mikuni carb installed, and original carb and filter are boxed and included in the saleOverall a very nice restoration. I was asked by a friend of my father to list his bike. He has owned it for a few years, almost never ridden it, and has decided to pass it on to someone else to enjoy. I keep my auctions honest, and even though the bike is not mine I try to disclose what was known by the owner and myself. The owner does not have much mechanical knowledge, so I am listing what I know below. The day I picked it up and drove it to my house I knew there was a problem. I found a blown head gasket. I ordered and installed a replacement gasket and now it has good compression and starts better. I did notice the engine had a good cross hatch in the cylinder like it had few miles on the build. I also noticed that from about 3/4 to full throttle the motor leans out, this could be a clogged passage in the carb, or a need to experiment with a jetting kit. There was also a noticeable vibration from the front brake on a hard stop. Payment should be made in person, or through a legitimate bank transaction.
