Up for sale is my impeccably maintained 2006 CRF450R. I purchased the bike brand new off the showroom floor in late 2007 as a left over model and put perhaps 4 rides on the bike since my purchase. At most it has 18 hours on the motor which incidentally I elected to leave completely stock. I didn't want to rip in to it and ruin its reputation for being one of the strongest and most reliable motors that Honda's ever built. I did however have the carburetor rebuilt by Tokyo Mods in San Juan Capistrano CA. to get rid of the off throttle backfire, but as I said, I elected to leave the motor stock. The suspension however is another story. The forks and shock were both completely rebuilt by RG3 in Anaheim California, which was the best thing I could have done to the bike. The fork and shock springs were replaced and both ends were re-valved to better suit a 210 Lb. intermediate rider (with all gear). I've had and still have several other dirt bikes and have tried to replicate what RG3 was able to achieve on this bike with respect to the balance and plushness but haven’t had the same luck…it’s spot on, yet it resists bottoming on big impacts. The bike was NEVER raced and only used as a play ride bike in Arizona. The tires are in excellent shape with plenty of meat and time left on both front and rear. The bike also comes equipped with oversized IMS pegs and as well as an oversized IMS fuel tank. The stock black Honda fuel tank also comes with the bike if they wish to use it in lieu of the larger unit. It has a BRP chain guide, ASV levers, Cycra handguards, Renthal sprockets, Renthal gold chain and Renthal bars and grips. It will also come with brand new in the box, genuine Honda front and rear fenders. And as you can see from the photos, it also comes equipped with an adjustable GPR4 steering damper which is a very good unit. Blue silicone water hoses were installed and a Boyesen Factory clutch cover bolted on. Handling the exhaust duties is a full (header and can) Yoshimura stainless exhaust system which are difficult to now purchase. As you can see from the photos, this bike is super, super clean and would be great for someone who wants a strong, solid, meticulously maintained and incredibly well suspended bike that starts in no more than two kicks and can be enjoyed all day long. Want to fun, super plush, easy to start and ride race bike? Here it is.....go ahead and have a blast. Let me know if you are interested or need additional information, I'd be more than happy to get you what you need. Thanks for the interest and I wish you the best of luck. Oh, and I have the title in hand.
