For sale: 2005 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom. Old, and lots of miles, but in great mechanical condition. Engine runs strong, lots of torque. I've owned this bike for over a year now, but bought an R6 to start racing. This bike is great in the city (lots of low-end torque), great on the highway (has plenty of pull at 80+ mph), perfect for long-distance touring and two-up riding. Firstly, a few facts: - I bought it from the original owner, who imported it from Canada. The instrument cluster was (and odometer) in kilometers only, not miles. I replaced the cluster with a mph/kph model from eBay when I bought it. I will supply the original cluster with the bike. - Original odometer had ~50k miles on it when I bought it. - New odometer has ~75k miles. Actual mileage should be around 55k (basically, just subtract 20k from the current odometer). - Yes, this is a high-mileage bike, but anyone seriously interested in a V-Strom would know that these engines last forever. I've heard reports of over 200k before overhauls. - All the major wear parts have been upgraded or replaced, and engine runs great. Valves were adjusted and fork seals replaced at 50k miles by original owner. - There's some road rash on left side of the fairing from the original owner. Said it was a small/slow crash. Replaced the crash bars after. No frame damage. Maintenance/upgrades: - Chain and sprockets replaced last year (maybe 5k miles) --- Chain is a DID 525VX, stock length and pitch --- Front sprocket upped to 16 teeth. This drops the revs by about 500rpm at highway cruise. - Front fork springs replaced with Sonic Springs 50S-090 (0.90km/mm spring rate) --- Fork oil changed at 50k with 7.5w - Galfer stainless steel braided brake lines, front and rear - All brake pads replaced with EBC Sintered HH pads at 50k miles - Adventure Tech fork brace - Adventure Tech mirror extenders (installed on right side only; left will be provided) - Custom steel skid plate by Enduro Guardian - SW Motech crash bars (with highway pegs) - Givi Monokey top and side racks - Sargent custom seat (suuuuper comfortable) - BackOFF rear brake modulator (flashes the brake light when you activate the brakes) - SW Motech dual-sport footpegs - Givi adjustable windscreen bracket - SpeedoDRD (corrects factory speedometer error; speedo is now GPS-accurate) - Pirelli Angel GT tires, front and rear (replaced at the end of last year, only a few thousand miles on them) - Steering stem bearings replaced a few months ago by House of Motorrad - Horn replaced with much louder Wolo 310-2T low-tone - Heated grips - G2 Ergonomics Throttle-tamer throttle tube (increases the throttle travel for better control) - Ignition-activated front-facing dash cam (records on a loop) Additional/stock parts included: - Pelican iM2450 Storm side cases, mounted with Caribou Cases Givi Monokey bracket - Givi Monokey Maxia 55 liter top case (can fit two full-face helmets) - Very tall Givi windscreen - Front axle hex tool (aids in removing front axle) - Second mirror extender - Front master cylinder rebuild kit - Stock sized front sprocket (15 tooth) (I think... I need to find it; it's somewhere in the garage) - Original fork springs - Original instrument cluster - Stock horn - Xena XX-10 motion-sensor disc lock - Lots of spare keys for everything! - Service manual (paper and PDF) - Owner's manual (PDF) Clean Colorado title. I'm okay with test rides, if you have cash-in-hand as a deposit. I'm asking $3200; willing to entertain all reasonable offers. Yes, the mileage is high, but there are lots of upgrades and it's in perfect working order.

2015 Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS Adventure, GFORCE POWERSPORTS OF BOULDER DL650X WITH BAGS $9599 PLUS TAX ONLY 2015 Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS Adventure In 2002, Suzuki introduced the V-Strom 1000 in a new motorcycle category, the Sport Enduro Tourer. Its running performance and packaging earned worldwide acclaim. In 2003, Suzuki released the V-Strom 650 targeting a wider range of users. This versatile model covers not only daily use such as commuting, but also weekend touring as well. With the addition of an ABS-equipped model in 2006, the V-Strom 650 has always been the best-selling model in its class. To further improve its running performance and riding comfort, Suzuki decided to develop a new model. For 2015, The V-Strom 650 ABS Adventure is another choice in adventure touring. It has striking accessories that include sleek aluminum side cases large enough to fit a full-coverage helmet, a rugged accessory engine bar and an adjustable windscreen. It also has the same improved performance as the original V-Strom 650 ABS. Its 645cc V-Twin engine has improved low-to-mid rpm performance, matched by enhanced fuel economy and environmental performance. Features May Include Antilock Brake System (ABS)* unit features a lightweight, compact design. The ABS monitors wheel speed, and matches stopping power to available traction. 645cc V-Twin engine features broad torque delivery, signature V-Twin power pulses and sporty quick-revving high rpm range power surges for full-range riding enjoyment. An efficient engine design delivers high mileage and class-leading riding range. A high-speed 32-bit ECU controls Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) system, contributing to enhanced low-to-mid rpm range torque, a linear throttle response and lower emissions. Twin iridium spark plugs for each cylinder for better spark strength and combustion efficiency contributing to increased power, a more linear throttle response, easier engine start-up and a more stable idle. A radiator with a more compact core, flanked by wind-directing plates shaped with holes* for enhancing cooling efficiency, directing engine heat to flow out to the side air outlets and away from the rider s legs. (*Patented.) The 6-speed transmission is tailored for active sporty rides with tighter 1st through 5th gear ratios, while keeping highway cruises comfortable with a tall top gear. Lightweight and rigid twin-spar aluminum-alloy frame and swingarm contribute to smooth handling performance and excellent stability at high-speeds. Front dual 310mm-disc brakes and rear 260mm-disc brakes deliver smooth, controllable stopping power. Expansion-resistant high-pressure brake hose enhances the responsive brake feel. 19-inch front and 17-inch rear radial tires specifically designed for the V-Strom 650 ABS. A 3-way height-adjustable windsc
