note to bidders: I am located in Akron, OH. I am listing this bike for my son who lives in Seattle where the bike is currently on display in his living room! Yeah, he's a bachelor, how did you guess? The bike is titled in Washington, free and clear in his name, ready for transfer.several of the photos show the factory black plastic body works--this has been replaced with Catalyst racing plastic panels. Original parts were sold off during conversion.bike is listed elsewhere so auction may end suddenly. 2010 BMW S1000RR Recently professionally converted for track use with well over $10k invested in the best components available to make track-ready 2-owner very clean, nicely-optioned and well-sorted 2010 RR. My son Sean purchased this bike from the Seattle Ducati dealer with about 4000 miles on it and after a few months of street riding decided to build it out for track use. Its at 5700 now, 100% ready-to-ride and in top shape. Sean has been very busy this year and advises that with only having time for 2 track days this year he can't justify keeping it anymore. Professionally prepared and maintained by EDR with regular Castrol R4 full synthetic 5w40 oil changes. Conversion for track use done in 2013 with best-available components installed and maintained by EDR Performance in Portland. Drilled and safety wired per OMRRA spec. You can take it straight to the track. Sean learned to ride track on this bike so, obviously it was ridden carefully with the majority of the miles spent in C group. Only minor damage from loading it into the enclosed panel toy hauler, plastic has a ding or two. He had a 30mph low-side drop which required replacement of right ignition cover and right case cover by EDR. Here's the major parts for conversion to track-worthy by EDR with part prices shown. Feedback of 10 or under? You must email me with a phone number so we can discuss my terms and conditions. Scammers? Don't waste your time. I do have a question for the last scammer who took an unsuccessful run at me. If your late father was the president of Sri Lanka and you are a wealthy businessman, how come you have to call me from one of those sweat shops with a couple hundred other scammers in the background asking stupid scammer questions like, "so why are you selling your, er, item?"
