2001 Ducati 748 BiPosto Identical in every way to the now super-collectible 916, the Ducati 748 was introduced alongside it in 1994 to ridiculous levels of press acclaim. This project was penned by the of the great team of Massimo Tamburini under chief Ducati designer, Fabio Taglioni, this being his last before his passing in 2001. The 916/748 was a true game-changer in motorcycle design, with massive success on the race track in the hands of Carl Fogarty, Troy Corser and Troy Bayliss. With marginally less power than the 916, the 748 makes good use of the 95bhp on tap. The engine's shorter piston stroke gives a higher rev ceiling of 11500 RPM, and the smaller pistons help the engine accelerate more quickly. Handling is superb, Brembo brakes are the same, and it’s easy to see why this incredibly stylish piece of Italian motorcycling history was as successful as it was. The bike offered here, an unmolested BiPosto (twin seat) example in Rosso Corsa, is in truly excellent condition throughout. The bodywork, tank, seat, wheels are all in excellent shape. The frame and all mechanical parts are in near perfect condition, also. The bike came from a mature collector with numerous motorcycles and exotic cars in his collection. Having covered only 8100 miles from new, this well maintained and cared for bike runs perfectly, with strong and responsive power, a perfect shifting transmission through a good clutch. Brakes, suspension and all electrical systems work perfectly. The rear tire is marginal and I just put a new battery in it. This unmolested and original example of Ducati’s increasingly collectible bikes of the last decade, is accompanied by a full set of unused tools, and a clean, clear title.

1998 DUCATI 748L SPORTBIKE Silver !! NEIMAN MARCUS #103 !! VTWIN !! CLASSIC DUCATI !! LEOVINCE FULL EXHAUST !! MARCHESINI WHEELS !! OHLINS DAMPENER !! LED TAIL LIGHTS !! LED BLINKERS !! LOTS OF CARBON PARTS !! MONOPOSTO !! AFTERMARKET REAR SETS !! The Ducati Desmoquattro engine began as 748 cc (45.6 cu in) displacement engine, with cylinder heads that were originally meant for a smaller bore than the 916, so the introduction of a smaller version of the 916 was to be expected. The Ducati 748 is identical in almost every way to the 916, both creations of Ducati in-house designer Massimo Tamburini, and both sharing some design elements with the Ducati Supermono. The only differences are rear tIre size (180/55/17 as opposed to the 916's 190/50/17) and engine capacity (88 mm bore and 61.5 mm stroke) of 748 cc (45.6 cu in). The engine's shorter piston stroke gives a higher rev ceiling of 11500 RPM, and the smaller pistons help the engine accelerate more quickly. Ducati produced several variations of the 748, starting with the basic 748 Biposto (meaning "two seat") in 1994 and then the 1995–96 748SP and 1996–99 748SPS followed as more powerful options. The different variations of the engine (weighing close to 54 kilograms (119 lb) each, produced at least 71 kilowatts (95 hp). The SP and SPS engines were in a higher state of tune and also came only as monoposto(meaning "single seat"), although it was possible to order the base 748 with a monoposto option, and were intended as homologation machines for World Supersport racing. Other extras over the base model included Ohlins rear shock and fully floating cast-iron Brembo brake disks. The engines also came with an oil cooler. The Ducati 748L, also known as the Neiman Marcus edition, is a limited edition model produced by Ducati Motors. One hundred were produced in 1998 and sold exclusively through the Neiman Marcus catalog. The 748L features Mercury metallic paint, carbon fiber front fender and chain guard.OVERALL BIKE CONDITION: GREAT!!CALL (855)548-7547 OR VISIT FOR MORE INFORMATION!!

Ducati 748 Bipostooriginally a MonopostoI am the 2nd owner of this Ducati. I bought it in 2002 when i was young from someone who was the original owner as he was getting shipped off to service in afghanistan. The bike was originally just plain yellow and a monoposto which means 1 seater but as i got older i switched it to a 2 seater to take my girlfiriend. I have Both tails/ rear fairings the single seat and dual seat option both painted pristinely in the same paint scheme. It takes about 15 minutes to switch back and forth. I also have a custom fiberglass cowl that i got in italy to cover the second seat if someone would prefer that option and clean look while still maintaining the biposto tail. The bike was never crashed or in an accident. When i was 17 i tipped it over once and decided to send the bike out for a custom paint job. I painted it in a ducati corse paint scheme as found in the racing ducati's of this era. The wheels were powdercoated white, everything can be seen in the pictures. This bike is fully sorted and an amazing machine. The extras:Custom painted body panelsQuick Disconnects fasteners on the body panelsFast by Ferracci ExhaustFast by Ferracci Performance ChipHigh Performance Air filter"Custom fully adjustable billet Rearsets" footpegs/pedals for comfortable riding position Custom Sargent Extra comfortable riding seat with Yellow piping and italian flagPro- Tek billet brake and clutch fluid capsCycle Cat billet dry clutch coverPretty sure it has bar risers on it so the handle bars come up higher for a better riding position but its as shown in pictures and i cant remember what it looks like stock, i did many of these upgrades a while back.Custom License Plate Bracket and blinker integration for a clean lookBrand New Gold Chain and sprocket SetBrand new front tireRear tire less than 1k miles on itBattery Tender hook-upIt has an up to date service record, timing belts, oil changes, i put about $6k in service and custom parts in the last few years alone, i know im not getting it back. Its ready to ride and enjoy now but im getting married and feel as if i have used up my 9 lives. I havent been on it in a while and dont plan on getting on it ever again so time to sell. Yes my fiance wont let me ride it. The only thing i know that is wrong with it is the speedometer cable as i mentioned above. Last year i sent it to a ducati dealer, hudson valley motorcycles, for a full service, oil change, new battery, new chain and sprocket, new front tire, battery tenderizer install, etc and they must have disconnected, not re connected properly or broke the speedometer cable going to the front tire when they serviced it. I called imediately after and they said they would fix it for me but i havent ridden the bike since to get it back over there for them and its only a $30 part, The front tire is still brand new and the mileage matches the service record and they acknowledged everything was working in their posession, validating my story. They are great guys there at hudson valley ducati i think it was just a simple oversight.Other things i have that match the bikeYellow Ducati Corse matching helmet with the original ducati corse paint scheme the bike has nowYellow Ducati Corse Dainese leather riding jacket with armorYellow and black Ducati Corse Puma riding sneakersMonoposto Tail same custom paint schemeBiposto 2nd Seat fiberglass cowl in custom paint schemeNew V fairing for under the radiator in custom paint scheme as replacement for current one, gets a lot of bugs chips and tar so i kept a spare.feel free to call with any questions my cell 914-821-7484 Jared

2002 Ducati 748 Mono , 2002 Ducati 748 Superbike Desmo Biposto in rare yellow. 20xx miles, not even fully broke in. Single sided swing arm, fully adjustable race Showa mono-shock rear and front inverted forks, and race Brembo brakes front and rear. Just say no to the rice cookie cutter bikes sitting in every driveway, and hello to the Lamborghini of Sportbikes. This hand built Italian work of art will set you apart in any crowd. Its beauty and lines still dominate it prestigious heritage. Mature adult owned and operated, this is the last bike Im selling from my collection. It is in 100% pristine showroom condition. There is not one scratch, mark, or blemish on her. Paint job looks brand new and must be seen to be appreciated. Ive only ridden this bike to bike nights and shows. It has always been garage kept under cover. It has is accented with anodized red bar ends, frame plugs, front shock adjuster sockets, open clutch cover, and rear wheel nut. It has a Ducati Corse tank pad, battery tender lead, and a complete stainless steel dual Vance and Hines exhaust system ($800). The sound and performance of this bike is amazing. This bike also has the ProItalia kick stand cut out harness installed. This allows the bike to be started in neutral with the kick stand down. Ive had many sport bikes over the years, and this bike, even today, will out handle/brake any Jap bike out there. Its v-twin engine provides torque completely through its RPM range. No dancing on the shifter like the ricers to pass or accelerate on this machine. Jap bikes get rung through the DOT ringer to be street legal, but not Ducatis...this is basically a track bike with lights and mirrors. Comes with rear race stand, cover, owners manual, factory key code, factory exhaust, wheel nut, clutch cover, and the passenger pegs (that are currently removed). Ive seen these low mile collectables go for $8k+, this is priced to move at only $6900. No trades or scams, serious inquires only, no joy rides. Thanks for looking. $6,900.00

I have for sale a 2002 Ducati 748S Biposto. 13k miles, belts and valves recently serviced. Fresh oil/filter change. Factory Termignoni pipes. Corse Dynamics oil change plug/magnet, Corse Dynamics Billet Fuel Sending Unit Replacement Nut. Brand new Barnett clutch kit, Barnett basket, and Corse Dynamics springs and keeper. DP carbon fiber clutch cover. Like new Michelin Pilot Power 3's on it. No signs of flaking rockers, starts and runs as it should. I'm also aware this is not a true "Senna" as only the 916 came as a Senna, this is however the slabside 748S in the rare gray/red combo from the factory. From information found online, this is 1 of 250 worldwide produced in this color scheme and 200 of those were monopostos that came to the US. I have 2 keys for this bike. I do have the passenger pegs which will be included. History: This bike was a Navy bring back from overseas, it is actually a 2003 748S model as verified during my ownership by Ducati Bologna. It is registered as a 2002 (December 2002 manufacture date) with a clean/clear Tennessee title. We did not receive the 2003 in the US market. The VIN digits have the identifier that it was not a US model as well. The fairings/tank are OEM but have been repainted at some point and also had the red accents added to the tail and airbox. The book on an '02 748S is $4,800, asking lower due to the paint and slight bend on shift pedal tip. She's ready for the street or track. Fun bike, but I'm putting my money into my 848 EVO build so some of the toys must go. The Ducati can be seen/picked up in Kingsport, TN. Shipping can be arranged at your expense, I would suggest looking into it before buying. Thank you.

1998 Ducati 748 Mono , $1100 valve job performed by Ducati Dealer last month. Ridden twice and kept indoors since. Comes wth extra painted bi-mota dual rear faring painted to match. Ducati produced several variations of the 748, starting with the basic 748 Biposto (meaning "twin seat") in 1994 and then the 199596 748SP and 199699 748SPS followed as more powerful options. The different variations of the engine (weighing close to 120 pounds each) produced at least 95 Horse Power. The SP and SPS engines were in a higher state of tune and also came only as Monoposto (meaning "single seat"), although it was possible to order the base 748 with a monoposto option, and were intended as homologation machines for World Supersport racing. The 748L features Mercury metallic paint, carbon fiber front fender and chain guard. In 2000, Ducati revamped their 748 model line to include a third variation: The base model was now known as the 748E, available as Biposto or Monoposto, with 3-spoke gold wheels and gold frame. Gone were the quick-release Dzus fasteners on the fairing, replaced with plain fairing fasteners, and the frame also had a fixed steering head angle. The rear shock was a Sachs-Boge unit with Showa forks. This helped to keep costs down. The intermediate model was known as the 748S. This had lighter 5-spoke Marchesini wheels in grey to match the grey frame, also retaining the earlier adjustable steering head. The rear shock was now a Showa unit with Showa forks at the front, making use of Titanium-Nitride (TiN) coating on the fork stanchions to "reduce stiction", which also gave it a gold coloring. The engine was a derivative of the earlier SPS, making use of the higher state of tune. The top of the range model was now the 748R, Ducati's racing homologation model produced only in very limited numbers. This engine was again a derivative of the SPS model but with more tuning. The main difference is that the R model has an overhead shower-injector arrangement compared to the 748E and S model's traditional throttle bodies, titanium connecting rods, titanium valves and more extreme valve timing. Engine Liquid cooled, four stroke, 90Ltwin $6,500.00
