Own a classic with many upgrades! I am selling my Monster S2R 800 Dark edition. $4000 OR BEST OFFER. This bike has been a real joy, but I have decided to move on to something different and can't keep two bikes. A little about this bike: The "Dark" model was a model that included gloss black rims, matte black finish, and no front fairing. This bike was considered Ducati's effort to target both returning riders and newer riders with a single-side swing-arm bike that had slightly higher specs, but wasn't quite the S4. It has great torque and it's a fast city bike because of the gearing, torque and very light weight. It's super easy to handle, and has a linear power curve which is great for newer or smaller riders. A recent Dyno reading showed the bike is still right at factory horsepower levels, and the air/fuel mixture is great. This was one of the later air-cooled 2-valve per cylinder 803cc engines, which has the APTC wet-clutch. In my opinion, one of the best air-cooled Ducati engines ever made, and very reliable. The valves are belt-driven. It's easy to work on and do most maintenance yourself. These bikes are holding their value and are highly desirable, especially as Cafe projects. The bike has approximately 34,000 miles on it.-Brand new stock battery-Less than 500 miles on chain-Rear brake pads just changed-Dunlop Q2 tires on front and rear, average wear.-New front and rear sprockets (stock teeth)-New fuel pump & assembly ($800+)-Ohlins rear shock with adjustable damper and preload ($1000+)-Arrow carbon fiber slip-on exhaust ($800+)-Speedy Moto triple tree ($300)-Custom Ducati etched "coffin covers" -Custom LED front turn signals-Custom bar-end mirrors-Tail-chop kit with integrated turn signals- Cannister delete- Hypermotard oil cooler lines (looks way better than stock)- Belt covers and front sprocket cover are plasti-dipped black- Gold anodized frame plugs, tire fill caps, and oil fill cap*I have the stock bars, mirrors, and tail assembly, as well as red and black key, with master code.=============================================The Bad:=============================================- Minor scratches on both the tank and rear seat cowl. These are covered with touch-up paint.- An engine coating that the previous owner put on the bike didn't set properly before a ride, so a small portion of the block has some small sand particles stuck on it.- Has some tank expansion issues from the heat and moisture. This is not a serious problem, but the tank has a slightly too-tight fit on the frame and has some difficulty locking down on the clamp. - I think it's probably due for a valve adjustment/service. The bike still rides amazing and the engine is perfect, but the valve adjustment should probably be done pretty soon.- The valve belts are in excellent condition but should probably be replaced pretty soon just due to age.Full bike specs: :// .motorcyclespecs.co.za/model

2016 Ducati Hypermotard 939 SP, One of the most under-rated street bikes around! Superb handling and power in a lightweight package! 2016 Ducati Hypermotard 939 SP Hyper Adrenaline Thrilling performance pushed to the edge. Set-up to hit the road as if it were a track. Fully adjustable Öhlins suspension and Ducati Safety Pack including ABS and Traction Control. Lightweight and agile thanks to the forged Marchesini wheels. The Hypermotard 939 SP brings its decidedly sporting temperament to the forefront, enhanced by an exclusive livery. Hypermotard 939 SP: a dose of pure adrenaline. Features May Include: New Testastretta 11° The new Hypermotard 939 family utilizes a 4-valve engine with a water-cooled cylinder, featuring a bore x stroke of 94 mm x 67.5 mm designed to achieve a perfect balance between usability and performance: this is the new 937 cc Testastretta 11° engine which provides maximum power of 113 hp @ 9,000 rpm and torque of 97.9 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. This new engine uses technical solutions which directly reflect Ducati's engineering know-how and have led to the creation of an extremely fluid and stable engine: the 11° valve overlap confirms the excellent results obtained in the Multistrada 1200 family and optimizes the exhaust and intake stages with consequent steady operation at medium and low speeds. Targeted fuel injectors aim the jet of fuel directly at the hotter rear end of the intake valve so that all fuel is atomised; a secondary air system similar to that of the 1299 Panigale enables the engine's operation to be optimised thanks to the controlled flow of oxygen which reduces cyclical combustion dispersion, thus effectively eliminating unburnt fuel. Ultimately, Ducati has managed to obtain a new engine that is extremely enjoyable, performs excellently and which can significantly limit emissions of unburnt fuel. New Trellis frame The Hypermotard 939 family of bikes is equipped with a tubular steel Trellis frame with 34 mm main section tubes, 25.5° rake, 104 mm trail and 30 mm offset, dimensions which allow steady and safe control without compromising the agility typical of this motorbike. The frame connects into the seat rail and, as in the Multistrada 1200, includes an intermediate section in engineering polymer. A wide 70° steering angle allows great handling, while a wheel base starting at 1,485 mm maximises stability at high speeds. Ducati Safety Pack (DSP) The whole range of the new Hypermotard family is equipped with the Ducati Safety Pack (DSP), which highlights the extent to which Ducati is focused on the issue of road safety. Designed to maximise the control of the bike and active safety while riding, the DSP includes the Brembo braking system with Bosch ABS in its latest 9MP version, and 8-level Ducati Traction Control (DTC). Truly versatile Configure the Hypermotard 939
