2004 Ducati 999S with upgrades. Ohlins Suspension, full Termi Exhaust System with recently replaced muffler can and heat shield, 999R lightweight Swing Arm, Motoholders Aluminum Subframe (lighter & stronger than stock), Brembo Radial Brake Master Cylinder & Clutch Master Cylinder w/ hinged levers, new Pirelli SuperCorsa tires, 12:00Labs Speedo Calibrator, Carbon Fiber Rear Hugger, intake duct Covers and Heel Guards, aftermarket clutch basket / cover, Brembo HD Brake Pads, integrated rear Brake / Turn Signal Light and finally an installed Trickle Charger Cable. Of all of the sportbikes I've had and ridden, on road or track, none handles with the confidence inspiring aplomb of this 999S. Compared to the bucking bronco nature of my 1098S this bike is like riding the couch...so smooth it feels as if it on rails, almost impossible to upset. Great front end feedback with strong, linear torque pulling out of the curves, it will have you pushing this bike more than most anything else you've ridden, too. I was riding an MV Agusta F4 for a couple of years and thrilled with the HP but tired of the notchy on/off throttle action near idle. It made rolling back into the gas leaned over hard into an apex approach a bit more...adrenalizing. I first rode a 999 demo bike at a track day on MSR Cresson and fell in love with the Ducati chassis feel and rheostatic torque, just didn't like the new aesthestics, so I waited until the 1098 came out and bought one. Faster than the 999 in a drag race but such a handful to ride hard on the track and so difficult to nail down a chassis tune, one of those bikes that felt like it was trying to throw you off when ridden hard. I kept going back to how much I loved the feel of the `ugly’ 999 that day. Years passed, got older, didn’t have to have more HP than the next guy, just wanted to corner faster and brake harder. I grew to appreciate the looks of the 999 more and ran across a beautiful sample that I bought. No matter your take on the exterior it has possibly the best looking cockpit on the planet. This is the bike I'm selling now. It has enough subtle extras to make it special and unique but nothing flashy. One of the best sounding bikes out there unless you prefer a 14,000 rpm 4 cylinder scream over a throaty growl. In my mind this is nicer on the ears of the people you pass; they'll tend to nod in silent approval instead of reach for their cell phones. I also have a spare right side fairing set, because over time the one on the bike has just started to develop a vibration crack in a corner of the plastic. I have a spare ready to go. This bike has 24,000 miles on it which equates to be about 2,000/yr. It’s been ridden so it’s no polished garage queen, but it still looks superb and has few cosmetic flaws, none major. Mature owner that knows which end of a wrench to hold and takes care of his mechanical toys, you will not be disappointed with this machine. Priced to sell!

Welcome to the world of Pantah's ... Taglioni's last designed motor was put in production in 1979 remained in use through 1986 (It is the basis of every Ducati engine since). The 1985 750F1A was also the last motorcycle Taglioni designed and what is considered the last 'hand built' Ducati produced prior to Cagiva purchasing the company in 1985. Built prior to the Cagiva take over the ‘A’ is the important note, (593) were built and this is #499. (In 1986/87 approximately 1,200 750F1B's were built by Cagiva). I believe #499 to be the most original Ducati 750F1A in the country (maybe the world) and only that has not been titled. I've owned many F1's and #499 will be the jewel of any collection and truly an appreciating asset. #499 was originally delivered in Santa Monica California, the gentleman had ties to the motorcycle industry and was able to take delivery without first titling or registering it. After riding it 570 Kilometers, 361 miles he rode to his mother's house who made him promise he would never again ride the bike. Convincing, the bike was pushed into the rear of her garage on that day and where I learned of it parked in 2006 twenty years later. With the motorcycle comes the original Ducati document - the Manufactures Statement of Origin - Photo included - This bike is most likely the only 1985 750F1A in the United States with this document and has never been titled. It was my dream to put this bike into the rear of my garage and forget about it for the next twenty years. When received the motor turned, the signage lights were dried and cracking as all do and removed. There was still fuel in the aluminum tank that had clogged the petcock and some of the black coated items such as the exhaust and clip-ons had oxidation. A good service, minor refinishing and a good detailing would accomplish what I have in mind to make this the wonderful original example this is. Selling a motorcycle that has not been run in 30 years did not sound good, so in the past weeks I lubricated the cylinders, removed the rotting K&N Filters, fueled the carburetors and got the motor to sputter to a start. The motor runs but the bike will require full serving, cleaning of the fuel system, tires, fluids, etc.Bonhams January Las Vegas Auction a 750F1A I was told had 19,000 Kilometers sold for $18,400 +12% premium = $20,608 - bonhams*com/auctions/22125/lot/286/ PLEASE READ PRIOR TO BIDDING - Kindly ask questions prior to bidding. What they said about the 750F1A The magazine 'Motorcycle International' titled their article about the 750F1A "Extinction with Distinction" written by Fraser Stronach (article below). In the articles closing Fraser writes, "If the Formula 1 Replica is the last Ducati it's a hell of a way for the name to go out." Mick Walker wrote about the F1 ... "To the true believers the F1 represents the last of the real Ducatis, in other words the traditionally raw-boned sporting motorcycle, without an ounce of fat to be seen anywhere. With its razor-sharp styling, the F1 evoked a passion in Ducati Lovers" ... "It was fitting, therefore, that this model should have been one of the best ever to come out of the Bologna factory, A motorcycle in the true Italian tradition. With a chassis based on the four-times World Championship winning, F2 racer, it was endowed with road-holding and handling to match the very best." Cycle World Magazine said "Ducati must have known a line was about to be drawn in the history books and the people there must have wanted to leave a last entry. Because the F1 is everything an Italian sports bike is expected to be and so seldom is." From "The Ducati Story" by Ian Falloon / Haynes Publishing 1996 As expected, there were plans to prorhice a street version of the TT1 racing bike, and, typically, it took a while in coming. While replica frame kits made by Harris were available in England for the Pantah engine, at Ducati the original Pantah soldiered on. The TT2 and TTl had brought them track success, but there was still a question over the reliahility of the Pantah crankcases when the engine was enlarged to 750 cc. 1983 was also the time of negotiations regarding the Cagiva takeover, so both production and development were limited. Also, because a new oil-cooled V-four 1,000 cc engine was being developed at the same time, resources were stretched, and this delayed the introduction of the 750Fl. However, the commencement of Cagiva control saw the V-four project cancelled, and by mid-1984 a prototype 750F1 was displayed. This hike used a replica of the Verlicchi racing TT2 frame with a steel cantilever swing-arm, and provision for a centre-stand. A square headlight was fitted in the full Fairing, and it had 16-inch gold-painted Oscam wheels. Claimed power was 70 bhp at 9,000 rpm, with dry weight at 165 kg (364 lb). Other features were a hydraulic clutch and a two-into-one exhaust system. 36 or 4C mm Dell'Orto carburettors were specified, and the compression ratio was a high 10.4.1. In mid-November 1984, photographs of mock production bikes appeared, now with an 18-inch rear wheel, and in February 1985 the 750Fl was premiered at the Sydney Motorcycle Exhibition. It still didn't have the fully-floating Brembo 280 mm front discs and 260 mm rear, but the engine was painted black and had a Conti two-into-one exhaust system, claimed to meet all noise regulations. The red frame, sourced from the TT2 / TTl, had been widened to accommodate the camshaft belt covers and an adjustable steering damper fitted to complement the 16-inch front wheel. Even before the bike had gone into production there was controversy surrounding the fitting of a 16-inch front wheel.

I'm a 59 yr old retired tile contractor and need to ride upright now so selling this bike to buy my new bike. Never burned the tire and no wheelies, ever! This bike has been garaged from day 1 & maintained by factory trained mechanics on or before regular service mile markers. Brake-in on non-synthetic oil 7,500 miles then switched to Motul 300 Synthetic oil & oem filter changed every 2,000 miles; way beyond Suzuki's recommendations. A few hundred miles on new Bridgestones, Front S20 F 120/70ZR17 Rear BT-003 R 190/55ZR17 dual compound street/racing tires. Akropovic titanium slip-on megaphone exhaust, frame sliders & single seat cowl. I'll throw in the Power Commander I bought but never installed. This bike has at least 2yrs-4mos left on a 5 year, unlimited miles, transferable warranty. Also included are the original passenger seat, exhaust pipe and license plate mount. Has a Gixxer Boyz LED fender eliminator kit. I have never seen the rev limiter lights as I typically ride between 5 to 9-K RPM. I'm an auto/bike detailer so this machine has been kept up (cleaned) well; paint sealed with Menzerna Power Lock and all plastic and rubber (except tires) dressed in 300 aerospace protectant.

Sporting an extremely compact design and machined out of a single alloy block the M50 calipers offer the ultimate in rigidity and deformation resistance during extreme braking. But these are only a starting point as each configuration can be completely customized according to the specific level of each control parameter desired by the rider. Maintenance; More Miles Less Maintenance the enjoyment of riding reliability and maximum containment of maintenance costs are among the main criteria that drive every engineering project in Ducati. Turn your Superbike into the ultimate racing model with specific high-tech components or add features that will improve your experience when touring. Highest level precision riding with the character and exhilaration only a Ducati Superbike can provide. In the rear all models use a full LED taillight which accents the all-new split tail while a perfectly integrated under-belly exhaust keeps the lines clean and pure. This pump is driven by gears built in a special high-strength techno-polymer and maintains the crankcase area below the pistons in controlled conditions of constant vacuum thereby reducing resistance during the pistons' down-stroke as well as facilitating oil flow for rapid recovery. Furthermore Ducati continuously invests in the technical training of its dealership staff: only through the Official Ducati Service network will you find the skills and tools needed to carry out all those fundamental procedures that will ensure your Ducati continues to perform at the highest level. These bearings allow the use of large-diameter crankshaft journals which maximize rigidity and mechanical strength to optimize the internal rotating structure to the extreme power of the Superquadro. Transmission During development of the first Superquadro engine Ducati engineers took their design freedom to the limit by increasing the distance between centers of the six-speed gearbox shafts and allowing the use of gears with an increased diameter and superior strength for the transmission of power. Your interest in the high-end brands of Rockwell Cycles is greatly appreciated. On start-up this device allows the profile of the cam opening lobe to be modified slightly lifting a valve so that part of the combustion charge can escape the chamber during the engine's compression phase. Benefit from ultimate technologies in this selection of race-bred accessories. Independently controlled by the fully Ride-by-Wire system the throttle bodies are each fitted with 2 fuel injectors: the first is set below the body and operates in lower rpm/load conditions while the second is fitted above the throttle body and is called into action when it's time for the Superquadro to unleash the full scope of its power and torque. Ohlins Smart EC Semi-Active Suspension the 1299 Panigale S features the world-exclusive Ohlins Smart EC semi-active suspension system. Using these the rider can instantly fine-tune the motorcycle to changing track road weather or tire conditions without slowing down. Further the system interfaces with the Bosch Intertial Control platform allowing maximum braking even while the motorcycle is leaned over. Bikes will be delivered to us in March and April and will go out on a first come first served basis. We look forward to meeting with you. Forged Wheels the 1299 Panigale S and Panigale R feature Marchesini tri-Y spoke forged aluminum wheels which have an eye-catching racing style and are strong and incredibly lightweight. This optimally satisfies the need for a high torque transmission which still provides optimum usability for the rider. Feel safe and comfortable whatever your destination is. the package contains a water radiator protection grid kit an anti-theft system a rider comfort seat ideal for longer distance trips and soft tank bag. the Panigale 1299 2015 is going to be an awesome Bike. the underside of the fuel tank when mounted seals the top of the frame which then becomes the air-box. Private appointments are an available. Full LED Lighting the 1299 Panigale S shows it’s technologically advanced nature with a bright efficient and stylish full-LED front headlight along with LED brake-light turn signals and number plate light. the rider can select the level of engine braking felt from one of 3 levels allowing them to perfectly customize the motorcycle's feeling during deceleration and turn entry. Ducati Quick Shift Up/Down (DQS) the Ducati Quick Shift up/down (DQS) is a race-derived electronic system that manages shifting of the gearbox in both up and down directions. Grippy machined-from-billet aluminum foot-pegs and a carefully-shaped seat with racing cover allow the rider to perfectly integrate with the Panigale and focus only on the extraordinary sensations of the ride. Personalization Transform and Perform On or off the track you can transform your Superbike with two exclusive packages offering a host of high-performance accessories in tune with your needs. Sport Pack Unleash the power. Auxiliary Handlebar Buttons the 1299 Panigale S and Panigale R feature handlebar-mounted auxiliary control buttons which allow the rider on-the-fly adjustment of a selected parameter among DTC DWC or EBC. This chain drive accurately transmits the motion between crankshaft and camshaft and thanks also to an automatic tensioning adjustment offers excellent reliability with low routine maintenance costs. the color display's configuration is variable and automatically adapts to variations in environmental light and to the selected Riding Mode. We have spread out services to intervals of 24 000 km (15 000 miles) and on some models the main Desmo Service is not necessary until 30 000 km (18 000 miles). Total Control Ducati's Riding Modes allow a rider to instantly vary key characteristics of the 1299 Panigale to suit different conditions or rider preferences - engine power and delivery traction control wheelie control ABS engine braking and - exclusively on the 1299 Panigale S - suspension behavior. the seat and handlebar positions are optimized to provide total control and comfort during sport and track riding while the switchgear and dash are further designed to be intuitive informative and a pleasure to use. Designed to maintain a precise line in straights and on curves the rear 200/55 x ZR17 tire maximizes the area of contact and corner speed by combining 200 mm width with a high profile. Consisting of an NIX-30 front fork a TTX rear shock and a steering damper this system interfaces with the Bosch Inertial Platform and dynamically responds to changing road and riding conditions allowing the best possible suspension performance and total motorcycle control. Ergonomics the Panigale's ergonomic dimensions assure a perfect integration between rider and motorcycle. LED technology is also been used for the front and rear turn indicators as well as the number plate light. Essential Desmo To control the large valves with the precise and efficient Desmodromic system engineers chose a mixed gear and chain drive system. #superbike #800 cc #675 cc #899 cc #1000 cc #MV Agusta #F3 EAS #F3 800 EAS #ABS #Traction control #engine braking #Speed shifter #ride by wire #TC #high performance #sport-bike #helmet #Arai #Bell #Panigale #F4 RR #ninja 636 #gsxr 750 #cbr 600 Motorcycles Superbike 6358 PSN . Once the engine fires the increase in rpm and associated centrifugal force modify the decompressor cancelling the valve lift effect to bring the engine to normal operating conditions. Integration with the GPS signal also provides visualization on the circuit map of the trajectories ridden and the main parameters of the vehicle: throttle opening speed rpm gear engaged engine temperature DTC activation and lean angle. I am sure we can work out a great deal on the 1299 2015 or any other bike that you may be interested in. Pure racing spirit is channeled to the rider with a grasp of the 1299 Panigale's handlebars. With three custom setups ready at the push of a button the Panigale superbikes become perfectly tailored partners to the rider's unrelenting pursuit of speed. This ingenious system further underlines the synergistic strength achieved by engineers and designers in the uncompromising creation of the Superquadro. Concept the Apex of Performance the new Superquadro engine is ingeniously incorporated into the Monoscocca chassis providing the perfect platform from which to deliver its incredible 205 horsepower. My aim above everything else is to get you on the Bike that is perfect for you. This serves to assure the efficient lubrication of the new crankshaft followed by a rapid recovery of the oil thanks to a lobe pump that places the connecting rod compartment under vacuum similar to the engines used in Moto-GP. Keith… Engine Extreme Bore/Stroke Ratio the new Superquadro's bore/stroke ratio of 1.91:1 sets an extreme example of the power-maximizing "over-square" architecture used in the world's most advanced racing engines. Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) 9.1 MP the Bosch 9.1 MP ABS equips the 1299 Panigale/S and Panigale R as standard and is a latest-generation system that performs combined braking with control rear wheel lift to guarantee the shortest braking distances and greatest stability in any conditions. In the "Road" and "Wet" Riding Modes speed takes centre stage and is displayed in large numbers in the middle of the display whereas the two boxes containing "supplementary information" underneath provide data on total mileage and engine coolant temperature. For the first time on a Ducati motorcycle the display features”lean angle visualization " allowing the rider to see their achieved lean angle displayed on the dash in real-time. Housed inside it are the air filter throttle bodies and fuel circuit complete with injectors make it truly unique and a revolutionary advancement to the world of traditional motorcycle construction. It operates in one of two modes: Fixed which is non-active and allows the rider to set specific levels of front and rear compression and rebound along with steering damper tension. Consulting Sales Specialist the Rockwell Cycles staff thank you for checking into the Ducati Panigale 1299 2015. In addition a special double compound that uses the most advanced polymers facilitates the rapid heating of the tires together with a constant grip. Even the simplest services the Oil Service have been spaced out to 12 000 km (7 500 miles) or 15 000 km (9 000 miles) values that represent an absolute reference for high performance engines. Brakes the 1299 Panigale features the finest brakes available - Brembo's M50 Monoblock calipers. By temporarily reducing the compression effect of the piston during start-up a much smaller and lighter starter motor and battery can be used contributing significantly to the extreme light weight of the overall engine and motorcycle. the 1299 Panigale S stands apart with its full LED headlights and carbon fiber mudguard excelling with auxiliary handlebar buttons and forged wheels. Sport and Touring: choose one or both packs to complete the ideal set-up for your motorcycle. Detailed information may be found in the Service Booklet supplied with the bike. Ducati Card Assistance Ducati and ACI Global have established Ducati Card Assistance which covers Ducati customers in case of breakdown accident injury or illness 24 hours a day 365 days a year in Europe the USA and Canada for 24 months from the date when the bike is delivered. Warranty Ducati guarantees all its bikes for a period of 24 months from registration with unlimited mileage. Full TFT Instrument Panel the instrument panel on the 1299 Panigale uses a full TFT display. 2015 Ducati 1299 Panigale S the New 1299 S Panigale 2015 Conveys Power Elegance and Agility. My name is Keith Baker Consulting Sales Specialist at Rockwell Cycles. Superbike 1299 Panigale S Overview Where Technology is a Step Ahead Bring the Superquadro engine with an unprecedented 116mm bore 205 hp of pure adrenaline and 145 Nm of stunning torque together with the semi-active suspension and electronic steering damp governed by the Öhlins Smart EC system and technology takes a giant leap forward. There is no other motorcycle quite like the Panigale. Due to the limited supply of the new Ducati Panigale 1299 S 2015 and extremely high request rate we are accepting early purchases of the limited amount Panigale 1299 models allocated to us. Crankcase the crankcases produced through a vacuum casting technology called Vacural ensure high strength at low weight along with a uniform wall thickness and are designed to incorporate water jackets around the cylinder barrels. Decompressor At the end of the exhaust camshaft of each cylinder head is a centrifugal decompressor. In sport riding conditions with abrupt downshifting heavy engine braking the same mechanism reduces the pressure on clutch plates and allows them to slip as in a racing system preventing a loss of stability in the rear end and offering excellent module-ability during hard braking into corners. Unequalled Beauty; Power Agility and Sophistication Wrapped in the Very Best Italian Styling the beauty of speed translated into design. the absence of a mechanical connection between the twist-grip and the throttle bodies allows the engine ECU to regulate power delivery by directly adjusting the throttle; Ride-by-Wire makes it possible to have different power and delivery based on the selected Riding Mode to alter the level of engine back-torque (EBC) and to control any slipping of the rear wheel (DTC). In the "Race" Riding Mode the display layout is automatically reconfigured shifting the display of the vehicle's speed in the lower information box at left and making room for the last lap time centrally displayed in large numbers. High Tech Intake the new Superquadro uses large intake valves fed by advanced oval-section throttle bodies which emphasize high air flow for maximum power production. Innovative engineering solutions such as these are used throughout the Panigale line and take the dry weight of the 1299 Panigale/S down to 166.5 kg while the Panigale R sits at an incredible 162 kg. Each Riding Mode is assigned a preset level of activation which can then be modified according to the riders' desire. Due to their thin structure the cylinder barrels efficiently transfer heat to the coolant running along their walls. the 1299 Panigale and Panigale R feature an advanced headlight with LED positioning lights while the 1299 Panigale S uses a full LED headlight for the ultimate statement of technical cool. Equipment Bosch Inertial Platform the 1299/S Panigale and Panigale R use the Bosch Inertial Platform which is centered on an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). Enjoy the ride with a carefully chosen series of premium quality features designed to provide you with maximum convenience and peace of mind. Chassis Monocoque Technology the Panigale's Monoscocca chassis forms its structural backbone - compact rigid lightweight and multi-functional. the tyres have structures and compounds deriving directly from Pirelli's experience in the Superbike World Championship and feature casings specially studied to guarantee rigidity in extreme braking and shoulders that maximize the contact patch. Precious Elements the clutch cover cylinder head covers and oil pan are all cast in a golden-color magnesium alloy to ensure the engine's strength with the absolute lowest possible weight. LED Lighting Another detail that gives the Panigale its total racing look is the twin headlamp at front designed to be an integral part of the front air scoops with integrated LED positioning lights. This allows for maximum possible acceleration ensuring a formidable drive out of any corner. It allows up-shifts to be made under full acceleration without using the clutch which gains precious fractions of a second that would otherwise be wasted in closing the throttle. An award-winning integration of engineering and design the Panigale gets the adrenaline flowing from the first glance. It also allows clutch-less downshifts as the system performs a perfectly-timed auto-blip when the foot lever is depressed engaging the gears smoothly and allowing the rider to concentrate only on braking and corner entry. the package includes carbon fiber covers for ignition switch and rear shock absorber an adhesive carbon tank protector a carbon sprocket cover kit carbon heel guards for rider foot-pegs an aluminum tank plug and a carbon and aluminum alloy number plate holder. Tires All Panigales benefit from Pirelli's Diablo Supercorsa SP tires the road version of the tire used in the Super-stock 1000 World Championship: 120/70 ZR17 at front and 200/55 x ZR17 at rear which provide the contact patch necessary to effectively transmit the Superquadro's power to the ground. the 1299 is undoubtedly the most thrilling superbike on the market. A $1 000.00 deposit is all it will take to reserve one of the first Panigale 1299 2015 to arrive. Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) First implemented on the incredible Ducati 1199 Superleggera Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) recognizes front-wheel lift and responds according to one of 8 rider-selectable levels allowing the throttle to be maintained open without fear of the wheelie getting out of control. Alternately there is the Event Based mode which is semi- active and allows the rider to select levels of suspension "behavior" ranging from Hard to Soft. This enhances the bike's agility and provides better rear traction in a wide variety of conditions. This design allows the head to be fastened directly onto the crankcase combining the need for rigidity of the engine's structure with a significant advantage in terms of compactness. the system automatically detects without any intervention by the rider the conclusion of the lap and stops the chronometric time. the oil bath clutch similar in design to that used on other Ducati models is a progressive system which allows the load on its plates to be increased without increasing the effort required by the rider to pull the lever and disengage the clutch. Make every detail count in terms of performance. Level 8 corresponds to an activation of the system with the slightest slipping while Level 1 best used by expert riders and professionals has a higher tolerance and thus allows a much higher amount of slip before intervening. Black handlebar weights are also included Touring Pack Take to the road. Lacking Nothing With an aggressive design enhanced by full LED headlamps a front mudguard in carbon fiber forged Marchesini wheels Ohlins Smart EC semi-active suspension and steering damper and auxiliary handlebar control buttons the 1299 Panigale S is bristling with features and technology that make it the complete package for performance riding. These levels are maintained constant until the rider changes them again exactly as a traditionally adjusted suspension system. DDA+ GPS Ready the DDA+ GPS is the latest generation of the Ducati Data Analyzer which integrates a GPS signal to create a "virtual finish line". Engine Braking Control (EBC) the engine braking control (EBC) system works in combination with the slipper clutch to prevent and manage any locking of the rear wheel during aggressive downshifting. Three pre-set configurations Race Sport and Wet are available to be selected by using buttons mounted on the handlebar. the total focus on light weight gives each Panigale a power-to-weight ratio that sets the reference in its class. the double LED lights at rear harmoniously wrap around the air vents in the seat- tail assembly and when turned on create an alluring effect of signaling lights enhanced by stop lights. Cast in aluminum it attaches at its rear directly to the heads of the Superquadro engine and contains the steering head and bearings at its front. Combined with advanced electronic controls and the finest brakes suspension and other components this creates an incredibly potent package that takes riders to the very apex of performance. In addition to these barrels the Superquadro's crankcase stands out for the use of plain main bearings previously utilized on the Ducati Desmosedici RR engine. the IMU constantly monitors the motorcycle's lean angle and fore/aft pitch interfacing with the ABS DWC and on the 1299 Panigale S the Ohlins Smart EC suspension - ensuring that these systems operate at maximum effectiveness regardless of the motorcycle's position. Ducati Traction Control (DTC) Ducati Traction Control (DTC) is an advanced system that monitors and maintains control over slipping of the rear tire and operates on the basis of eight different levels of intervention each of which has been programmed to respond to a different tolerance to rear slipping. the engine uses wet barrels coated in Nicasil which are inserted into the holes of the engine block's housing during the initial stages of assembly. Optimized Geometry the 1299 Panigale and 1299 Panigale S benefit from the experience of Ducati Corse and adopt a new geometry which uses a 24° steering head angle along with a swingarm pivot point 4mm lower compared to the previous generation of Panigale. We can also work out a great deal any other bike that you may be interested in. In this mode the system then dynamically adjusts compression rebound and damper tension in response to ride conditions maintaining the overall "behavior" previously selected by the rider. Fully Ride-by-Wire the opening and closing of throttle butterflies on the Superquadro is controlled by a fully electronic Ride-by-Wire system. Maximize your experience with specially conceived ultra-light component and design elements which enhance the streamlined looks. A short-stroke crankshaft and enormous pistons combined with large Desmodromically-actuated valves allow the Superquadro to breathe freely at high rpm while a 1285cc combustion chamber ensures the ample torque that has made so many enthusiasts fall in love with Ducati's signature L-twin power. Large aggressive air intakes feed the new Superquadro engine and signal no holds-barred competition. Lubrication the journals of the main bearings are lubricated by pressurized oil admitted through ducts inside the engine block. I look forward to hearing from you. If you have any questions or comments I can be contacted during business hours at Rockwell Cycles Fort Montgomery NY 1005 Rt 9-W phone; 1-845-446-3834 on my cell 1-203-802-7710 (call anytime 24-7 after hours and closed days) at [email protected]. the 1299 Panigale and 1299 Panigale S are pre-configured to accept the DDA+ GPS while the Panigale R includes the system as standard. In addition to performing the function of a traditional frame the Monoscocca also serves as the air-box and in this way significantly contributes to lowering the overall weight of the motorcycle...
