The bike runs great. The paint is very high quality and the chrome is in very good condition. This bike has been in my climate controlled personal “museum”, is a little dusty, and needs a new owner that will give it regular exercise. The 750 GT is a great classic for somebody that enjoys riding, with it’s smooth torquey v-twin engine and superior handling. These are desirable bikes that will keep going up in value while you enjoy the great riding they offer. This bike has only traveled around 2000 miles since a total restoration but it has over 13,000 miles since new and that is what the odometer reads.

The bike has a new very professional "stock" burgundy and black paint job, new metal tank badges and new side cover badges. The striping is all done by hand and is the correct off white toward ivory, per original. All the dimensions for paint locations are as per a noted expert, bevel barbarian and well known belt buckle maker. This motorcycle has ll the upgrades you want on a rider, better alternator, regulator and fuse block, better suspension and better ignition system. If you are looking for a really good one of these, here it is. I got a question about this so let me make it clear. ALL of the late 750s had soft valve guides that wore out and caused smoke at relatively modest mileage. The smoke is from the prematurely worn guides because they are SOFT. If you buy a similar vintage Ducati that hasn't had the guides changed, you WILL have to pull the heads and change them. The guides on this one have been replaced with modern guides, the rings are not yet broken in as it has only about 20 miles on it since the top end overhaul. It is a 1974 3rd production series version, titled as a 1975 and has 23,197 miles on it. For more information please contact me by e-mail

I have added more pictures of the stuff that comes with the bike.1973 Ducati 750GT round case. A true collectors motorcycle, certainly one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever produced. Engine number 751XXX DM750, Frame number: DM750S 751XXX, 2nd series. North America Engine: Carbs are 32mm Dellorto's (PHF 32AD, PHF32AS), K&N filters, the original 30mm Amal carbs are included, with original air boxes and hoses. OEM Tommaselli twin pull throttle and controls. Engine has never been apart since I have owned it. Always lovingly tuned and maintained. The finish on the motor is authentic and unrestored. It's always looked like that since I've owned it. Chassis: While the bike has not been restored in the purest sense, It has been brought back to as close to its original condition as possible. Correct Borrani flanged rims (RM014403, RM014626/1) Original front hub. The bike had a single Lockheed disk brake and calliper. At some point in my ownership I borrowed the master cylinder for another project, figuring I could always come up with another when the time comes. I searched high and low for a single Lockheed master cylinder with no luck. I did find a Lockheed master with 2 rings on it indicating a double disk set up. Now if you think finding an original rare master was difficult, try finding a second disk and an even more rare, mirror image Lockheed calliper. I did find a pair from a later model and that is what is on the bike now. Has Earls stainless braided lines - braking is much improved. OEM Single disk included. The front end is OEM Marzzocchi leading fork. Excellent chrome, pinch bolt has been overtightened, cracked and will need attention, (see photo) The original owner wanted the bike to look like a racer so he took off many of the GT type parts and stored them. OEM signals are excellent, they need to be connected, I have the signal relay and switch. OEM gauge pod is very good, original Smith tach and speedo. OEM Aprilia headlight, chrome excellent. Non original sealed beam. Aprilia control switches. OEM reflectors. OEM wiring, horn, fuse box, condensers, points, plug caps and wires, and coils. OEM bolts and fasteners. OEM Marzocchi rear shocks, reconditioned, excellent with correct decals, new chrome and polished. Exhaust pipes, and balance pipe are original and cleaned up nice, mufflers are Bub replicas. I can find one of the original Contis, the other must be around somewhere, they are painted black and not nice. New footrest rubbers. Original sidestand!!! Seat has been reupholstered to match original pattern and is really nice. Small 1/8" tear, (see photo). Original seat included. Fiberglass tank and side panels painted to original spec and tank sealed and lined. Really nice. Fenders are INOX original and excellent. Tail light original and excellent. Frame was painted red! by original owner at some time and then the coat of black paint on it now looks presentable. The bike had been in dry storage for 20 years, periodically turned over with oil in cylinders. Protective coating on cycle parts. Cleaned up excellent. Changed oil, new battery and started after 4 kicks! Call with questions before bidding. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, I can assist by loading the bike in a motorcycle shipping container at Canadian Airport terminal after payment arrives. Worldwide OK.John 905-848-4632 [email protected] had made an error describing the discs as oem. They are original Ducati, but from a later model. The original solid disc is included.I have added more pictures of the stuff that comes with the bike and might be useful. Seat, Amal Carbs and manifolds, airboxes, the missing reflector, nos exhaust ring, the one Conti I can find, I may not find the other, blinker parts

Offered for auction is my 1974 Ducati 750 GT twin. In the last few years interest in the bevel drive roundcase Ducatis has exploded. The 750SS is now priced where Broughs were a few years ago, and the 750 Sports are selling in Vincent Rapide territory. The GTs have experienced a surge in interest as well, but for the moment they remain the last affordable Ducati twins of that period. Many say that they are the most enjoyable on the road too, given their less radical riding position. This is a matching number 750 GT, built in February of 1974. It comes with a clear matching number title, ready to transfer into your name. It was last running & riding in the summer of 2013, when it was parked to sort out some electrical problems. At some point someone swapped out the handlebar switch for a later unit, and also installed aftermarket coils and a mickey mouse fuse setup under the seat. The new fuses were removed, and currently the harness is not connected to anything under the seat (it ends inside the Aprilia fuse box, but it is not connected). This bike would be an easy Winter project to clean up and get back on the road. It was repainted several years ago to a non stock color, but it was done very professionally. Other than the replaced rear shocks and the removed turn signals/air filters (which every new owner seemed to do back then), the bike seems to be about 95+% stock. The case halves are matching number, and it still has the factory headers and Conti mufflers. The front and rear rims are the original Borrani aluminum parts. Even the factory toolkit is under the seat. Machines in this condition are getting pretty difficult to find after 40 years. Only about 1,400 of these bikes were imported to the USA, and a good many of those did not survive their first few owners. A lot of the early GTs were also converted to "Sport spec", to where there are probably more early wideframe Sports "surviving" than were ever made! So if you are thinking about an early Ducati Twin to add to your collection, this is a good time to act. Please ask all questions before bidding or buying. Payment expected within one week of auction end, and the bike must be picked up/shipped within one month of auction end. Overseas sales are no problem, but I cannot help with shipping quotes. Personal checks are OK, but this will delay shipment. Sorry but the bike does not move before the payment arrives, no exceptions. I don't end auctions early, so please don't ask. Good luck bidding!

These great bikes don't come up for sale often, so here's your chance. With some TLC, this classic can easily be back on the road. It's all there and original, and until very recently, was a one-owner bike. 12,068 miles. The motor turns freely with very good compression. It was parked running about 12 years ago. The tank is rusty inside, but is solid and has no dents. All electrical and ignition components are intact. It has a clear Ohio title and one key. There are no broken fins. Trans shifts throughout the gears. Brakes, clutch, and throttle work. Solid exhaust, no holes or rot. Original Borrani wheels, Marzocchi forks, and Dellorto carb. If you're reading this, you probably know that this is a rare and desirable motorcycle, that is well worth the effort to refurbish or restore. Please ask all questions and examine pictures carefully before bidding. Feel free to call me 440-382-8228 5 or less feedbacks or joined Ebay in the past 90 days: contact me before placing your bid, or it will be cancelled. $500 deposit due in 24 hours. Will store for 3 weeks, after that $25 per week storage fee will apply. Delivery in the Cleveland are possible, please contact me for details. The bike is also for sale locally, and auction may end at any time.

This 1976 Suzuki GT750 Cafe Racer project is called "Threesome" due to it's 3 cylinder engine configuration. If you are familiar with this model you will know that when those three cylinders start firing in rapid 2 stroke fashion anywhere above 4500 rpm it will make the hair on your neck stand up and give you goosebumps. The sensation is sublime. This bike has been part of my collection for the past 2.5 years. The Bexton garage recently acquired another GT project bike that will replace this one.The donor bike had 16XXX miles on it and the motor ran strong without any leaks or other issues. Due to this the motor was given a fresh water pump and a fresh coat of black paint. Otherwise it was left alone. I have put another 1500 trouble free miles on it since the build was completed. It has since started to push a bit of oil out the breather when ridden too spiritedly, which indicates that the crank seals are starting to go. I installed a pipe to catch the oil and then drain it back into the engine to contain it. Performance remained unchanged due to this. However it will require a fresh set of crank seals if you plan to ride it cross country. I am pointing this out so as not to catch the new owner by surprise. But if you plan to just ride it occasionally like I do it will probably be good for years to come, just remember to change the oil regularly. The frame was modified to suit the Rickman tail section and seat. The entire frame and every single bracket was also powder coated. Electronics and battery are now housed under the tail. It has also been equipped with updated modern electronic ignition and voltage regulator and rectifier. I added a few gussets in the center triangle to tighten up the frame a little. The front end comes from a Suzuki Hayabusa, complete with forks, wheel and 6 piston caliper brakes. The front fender is from a Ducati Monster. In the rear I built a custom swingarm, using the swingarm and brake from a modern Suzuki 750 Katana as a donor. The Katana swingarm was shortened to retain the original wheelbase and some shock mounts welded on to retain the stock twin shock setup. It now runs on needle bearings instead of the original plastic bushings. I used a Suzuki SV650 rear wheel and also SV650 race rear sets. The fairing is from a Ducati SuperSport. The motor was adorned with a Jethot coated set of Jemco chambers and the carburetors cleaned and re-jetted to suit the chambers and K&N tube filters. The bike is very well sorted and easy to ride, but also a wolf in sheeps clothing, when you hit 5000 rpm you better hang on when that 2 stroke power band kicks in. The rear shock are Chinese knockoffs imitating a famous brand, so do not mistake them for being the real deal. They work as well as their origin suggests under normal riding conditions. This is an old bike design and the kickstand sits under the left chamber not leaving much room before things start touching down so you cannot expect to ride this bike at Grand Prix speeds anyway. The Hayabusa forks work extremely well and so do the brakes. I have a very detailed write up of the build with pictures and some video on my website MyBikeProject where you can see some of my other builds also. The bike was also featured on Silodrome Silodrome If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Local pickup only by your chosen shipper. I will work with the buyer to enable pickup locally. On Aug-11-15 at 07:30:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Video of the bike riding can be seen here: GT750-Riding

1973 Ducati 750 GT Custom café racer in the spirit of the prototype With custom paint, seat, linkage, front brake, clip-ons, side covers, and seat back, this is a one of a kind bike inspired by the prototype. The engine is completely rebuilt with improvements throughout, giving it more power and better response without jeopardizing reliability. The pistons are short skirt sport pistons from V-Two to raise the compression. The heads got lighter 7mm valves with better springs, new seats and guides. From the Carillo rods to the 36mm carbs, to the polished crank to the billet cams to the smaller stem valves, all things were considered with this project. As is obvious from the pictures, this is a customized bike, so many items are not standard 750GT. In addition to above description, please note: - steel Ducati fuel tank - custom made side covers and decals - front brake is via a Grimeca 4LS brake 4 leading shoes drum in a 18” wheel - Borrani rims on both wheels - Pirelli Sport Demon tires, new rear in 2014 with 50 miles on it, front is dated 2002, has good thread and no cracks, but due to age should be replaced for regular use - adjustable bitubo shocks - rechromed Conti exhaust - seat and rear cowl are handmade items - rear sets custom made (tight fit) - instrument cluster is similar to 750Sport - clip-ons with period Aprilia switch gear - electronic ignition - rear brake switch does not work - odometer now shows 21,111 miles

I purchased this bike back in 2013 from Ian Falloon & imported it from Australia, since it was delivered is has sat on display in my office. The fluids have been changed and engine turned over regularly. This bike is as perfect as they come. I have not seen any GT that comes close. I recently brought the bike to a Ducati specialist in San Francisco, he started up the bike and is now in process of some final adjustments. I can provide a video of the bike running upon request. Below is Ian's original description of his GT. Cheers Ducati 750 GT Ebay As I have too many 750 GTs in my collection I am reluctantly offering this superb Euro-spec 1973 750 GT for sale. This is as perfect and original 1973 750 GT you will find, and every aspect of the restoration is covered in my new forthcoming book; Ducati Bevel Twins 1971 to 1986 - Enthusiasts Restoration Manual http://www.veloce.co.uk/shop/products/productDetail.php?prod_id=V4318&prod_group=Motorcycles%20&%20Scooters& With engine number 752696 and frame number 752124 this was originally Australian delivered (to Ron Angel Holdings) in April 1973. The low frame number means that many earlier features are present, such as a Lockheed front brake and split front hub. This is also a rare model with a Veglia electronic tachometer and retains the earlier Amal carbs. This model of 750 GT is undeniably one of the more desirable, with all the preferable earlier handlebar controls, Borrani rims, Inox stainless fenders and leading axle Marzocchi fork. Everything is new or reconditioned on this machine. New parts include; New factory con-rod assembly (assembled by Bob Brown) New 80.6mm (second oversize) Borgo pistons All new bearings throughout New valves, rockers, and rocker bushes New badges and paint matched to NOS side cover NOS air filter boxes and hoses NOS Aprilia turn signals and switches NOS Aprilia fuse box NOS CEV horn NOS Lockheed front brake line NOS Ducati Electronica condensers and points NOS KLG spark plug caps Complete set of Bevel Rubber parts for the 750 GT (including dash and dash lights) All new cables New period Dunlop TT100 Tires and tubes NOS Euro-spec handlebar New CEV taillight and bracket New Brev Orlandi fuel taps New Conti silencers NOS 16/36 tooth sprockets and RK chain NOS ignition switch All new cables Reconditioned parts include; Original 3-ball Marzocchi shocks rebuilt by Damien at Bevel Rubber Seat by Tony O’Connor of Eldorado Instruments by Andrew Rackstraw in New Zealand Original Borrani wheels with stainless spokes by Phil de Gruchy of Lightfoot Engineering Original rare Lockheed master cylinder and caliper reconditioned Wiring by Peter Shearman of Dukelectrics All original bolts and fasteners with new zinc plating. Original Aprilia headlamp Original Tomaselli throttle and controls Re-chromed exhaust header pipes plus other miscellaneous chrome plating by Precision Plating Reconditioned original filler cap Entered in the 2012 Motorclassic Concours d’Elegance (Australia’s equivalent to Pebble Beach) this bike won the best post-war motorcycle category in a hotly contested field. The beautiful trophy comes with the bike if you want it. The only non-original features are; NOS Inox front fender with a center brace, replacing the original fender that had two screw holes for a front license plate as required in Australia in 1973. New German ignition coils instead of the original Ducati Electrotecnica. This bike has been on display and not run since the restoration. The tank has no fuel and there is no battery. If you want to run this bike bear in mind that commissioning it will require a bit of fiddling with carburetors etc. It is as if you were buying a bike back in 1973 from the crate. It needs setting up. This bike can be shipped anywhere at the buyer’s expense and I can arrange shipping worldwide. Payment by bank deposit is preferred. Paypal will incur additional fees. If you are looking for an as new 750 GT close to the condition it left the factory in Borgo Panigale in 1973 this is it. As the restoration of this GT is featured in detail in the forthcoming book. Of course this is a forty year old motorcycle and comes with no warranty but it is a bike will real provenance.
