2009 Ducati Monster 696, I am selling my baby! I have an absolutely beautiful Monster 696 for sale with only 5750miles on it!!! Only in Minnesota can we have such amazing machines with such low miles. This bike is in perfect condition and up to date with all maintenance, new tires, oil change, and always kept in heated storage throughout winter. Not a scratch on her. Everything is stock. The only reason I'm selling is I'm upgrading to something bigger, and faster of course! 2009 Ducati Monster 696, In pristine, clean superb condition with only 1900 miles on it. Recently serviced, has the inspection stickers it is ready to go. It has always been closed garaged from day one (including the previous owner) in West Village. Never saw a rainy day. Never been dropped. Never parked outside overnight. Everything is stock, except the Fender Eliminator. Also Battery Tender connection ready for your winter storage. The matte black color may get shinier over time and it is hardest to maintain and hardest to find a like new condition when buying used. Because it has never been left outside, this has still the matte effect you'd see on a new bike in the showroom. People won't notice this is used at all. I am the second owner and I recently got married. It is useless now and I need a car. The only heartbreaking reason that I am selling it. You can enjoy it for the rest of the season for the best time to ride. The Fall!!! $7,000.00

2009 Ducati Monster 696, For Sale: 2009 Ducati Monster 696 with Ducati Race ECU and Termignoni Exhaust Great Bike, and blast to drive. Light weight and SOOO Much better with Race ECU and exhaust Race ecu and exhaust is about a $1200+ kit and well worth it; it raises power and the Rev limiter, with out it... I didn't love the bike. Has touring seat, bar end mirrors and tank bag. I also installed a bar raiser kit, it brings up the handle bars about an inch. I have stock seat and stock ecu and exhaust. I also have the Rear cowling Has some scratches on engine side plate that was there when I bought it. Has Newer brakes and fresh oil. 7216 miles $5,200.00

I am the original owner of this 2009 Ducati Monster 696. It is in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically. Has never been run hard. Bought it in January of 2010 and spent the winter making minor changes like shortening the turn signals, eliminating the emissions box and the rear plate holder. The factory exhaust was removed and boxed before summer riding and replaced with Two Brothers slip-on exhaust and the ECU was remapped to suit. The countershaft sprocket was changed at about 5,000 miles from a 15 tooth to a 14 tooth to raise engine rpms at cruising speed. It pulls strongly above 4,000rpm where the engine is very happy, and is a joy to ride on the back roads or the highway. This bike is light weight and quick, runs and handles very nicely. Divorce and getting older force the sale of this fun bike. Far from the most powerful out there, but it will still scare you if you hit the throttle hard. I have all of the original paperwork that came with the bike, the extra key, the code card and the owner's manual. Beyond that I have the factory parts book and both parts book and service manual on CD. I have all of the original parts that were removed and all are in like new condition. They include the original seat, mufflers and the mini shield. (See photos) The Duc has a new rear tire but will be in need of a front tire soon. It does not need anything else. I will consider any reasonable offer, but don't bother low-balling me. I don't need to sell it that badly. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking.P.S. I purchased this from a used dealer in 2010 with about 1200 miles on it. The motorcycle had a bent transmission output shaft and a crack in the engine case which is why it was a salvage/rebuilt title. I first had a professional welder repair the case (see photos) and took it to my local Ducati dealership who agreed to repair the TOS under warranty. This resulted in a almost complete rebuild of the transmission at 1200 miles. Since then, I have ridden it more that 4500 miles and absolutely loved every minute of it. The rear tire only has 1721 miles on it, both tires have plenty of tread life. Everything is stock except for the Terminignoni pipes. I am a very casual rider and have never dropped it. I either take it out for weekend cruising or occasionally commute to work. Passes NH and TX state inspections (currently Texas). I have all the receipts from the Ducati Dealer proving the repairs to the transmission and oil changes. So to recap, these are the reasons I really like this bike:1. Bike has never been down, frame is true and rides great.2. Low miles for a bike of this year3. Transmission only has 4500 miles since the rebuild described above performed by Ducati.4. Since I have owned it a reputable Ducati dealer has performed all maintenance (I have receipts).5. Has always been stored fully sheltered. In the interest of full disclosure, this is a list of everything to my knowledge that is wrong with the bike:1. Hanger Rash due to recent cross country moving companya. Right pipe dent and carbon fiber crack.b. Right frame has small scratchesc. Right handlebar grip has tear.d. Minor imperfections in plastic tank shroud.2. Case weld as described above3. I only have one key And the question everyone wants answered, why am I selling it if it is so great. Good question. Moving from a rural part of the country to Austin has required our whole family to downsize. Since I am not using it as much as I had hoped, I want to free some space for other endeavors. For sale is my excellent condition Ducati Monster 696. Runs, sounds and looks awesome and has excellent maintenance. I purchased this bike from a friend's wife...she was the first owner. It has not been abused as I am an adult owner as well. The only "flaw" I would point out is that there are wear marks from riding boots on the rear sets. I would imagine all of them have this based on the design. Is not very noticable and I am just nit-picking. You WILL NOT be disappointed. With the mods and maintenance on this bike, I guarantee it is the best deal out there for a monster. If you find one cheaper, know that it could cost as much as 1,200.00 for a slip on exhaust and 600.00 to do the timing belts, both of which you need to do. Clean, clear title in hand. I will help load the bike up for a shipper, but will not arrange shipping. Bike will not leave my house until I have money in my hand (or account if you choose to send me a check....this means CLEARED). Bike needs nothing. Mods: Carbon fiber slip on exhaust - these were made to my specifications by Dan Moto and sound amazing Bar Risers Spencer modified seat - This is a MUST because the stock seat is terrible. It is now comfortable and does not drive you into the tank. (A new seat alone is almost 400.00) Fender eliminator (have you seen the stock fender? :) yikes) 14t front sprocket - another must do mod Bar end mirrors Check my feedback and let me know if you have any questions at all. Maintenance: Always synthetic oil Changed spark plugs 400 miles ago Tires <1000 miles TIMING BELTS REPLACED AND VALVES CHECKED 1300 miles ago - last season - Good to go for a LONG time Air Filter changed 1000 miles ago Miles may go up slightly as I still ride it occasionally.
