Selling my incredibly beautiful 2007 Ducati S2R 1000 Monster. I am the third owner of the bike, and the bike has been incredibly well kept. All service is up to date, and the title is clear and in my name. The bike has numerous carbon fiber pieces, and Speedy Moto accessories. The bike sports a full Remus exhaust system (sounds awesome as you might imagine), with a Power Comander unit that has the bike running perfectly with that mod. The paint scheme is original and the preferred Red tank, red frame combination. Marchesini wheels and new Michelin Power Pilot tires. The forks have been reworked by Racetech. No disappointments, just buy it and ride it. Work has taken a turn for me and the money is more important than the ride at the moment.

For sale is my excellent condition Ducati Monster 696. Runs, sounds and looks awesome and has excellent maintenance. I purchased this bike from a friend's wife...she was the first owner. It has not been abused as I am an adult owner as well. The only "flaw" I would point out is that there are wear marks from riding boots on the rear sets. I would imagine all of them have this based on the design. Is not very noticable and I am just nit-picking. You WILL NOT be disappointed. With the mods and maintenance on this bike, I guarantee it is the best deal out there for a monster. If you find one cheaper, know that it could cost as much as 1,200.00 for a slip on exhaust and 600.00 to do the timing belts, both of which you need to do. Clean, clear title in hand. I will help load the bike up for a shipper, but will not arrange shipping. Bike will not leave my house until I have money in my hand (or account if you choose to send me a check....this means CLEARED). Bike needs nothing. Mods: Carbon fiber slip on exhaust - these were made to my specifications by Dan Moto and sound amazing Bar Risers Spencer modified seat - This is a MUST because the stock seat is terrible. It is now comfortable and does not drive you into the tank. Architecture The engine has been designed as the structural element of the frame. As such, its architecture has been completely reviewed to ensure the best design in terms of structure, weight distribution and robustness. The cylinders, at a 90° angle to each other, have been rolled back an additional 6° on the crankcase to produce a 21° angle between the front cylinder and the horizontal plane. Transmission Ducati engineers took their design freedom to the limit by increasing the distance between centres of the six-speed gearbox shafts and allowing the use of wheels with an increased diameter and superior strength for the transmission of power delivered. Decompressor At the extremity of the exhaust camshaft of each cylinder head is a centrifugal decompressor. On start-up, the device allows the profile of the cam opening lobe to be modified, resulting in a slight lift of the valve that discharges part of the mix contained in the combustion chamber during the engine's compression phase. Monocoque Technology The 899 Panigale's chassis continues the innovative Monoscocca concept: different components have been integrated to give shape to a single compact and lightweight element that also enhances the rider's posture to perfect the riding position. The monocoque structure in cast aluminium for increased strength uses the Superquadro engine as a structural element and allows Ducati Superbikes to be lightest-in-class. Innovative Suspension As on the 1199 Panigale, the 899 Panigale's fork legs are set at an increased distance between centres, typical of racing bikes in the Superbike World Championship. Thanks to this detail, even the brake discs have a greater width when mounted to allow optimal cooling even during the hardest use. Weight Distribution The 899 Panigale features a weight distribution equivalent to 52% at the front and 48% at the rear without the rider. The ratio then becomes an optimal 50:50 when the rider is on the seat to guarantee absolute stability and handling. To achieve this optimal configuration, solutions were implemented to allow a concentration of the weights at the front: the engine has come forward, the exhaust system is placed under the engine, and the rider's position is advanced. Purchased with 4560 miles on it and have ridden another 1500 miles over the past four years.
