Up for sale is Larry Pegrams AMA Superbike. I bought this bike from Larry himself on 6/18/2013 when he was unloading his BMWs in lew of switching to Yamaha. This bike has everything as his "A" bike, just missing the digi dash and oversized radiator. I can't even explain how much power this thing has; 202whp on Sunoco 110, but I usually run 100 during track days and still puts out extreme power. Everything on the bike went through years of racing development with Pegram's team; the engine, traction control, wheelie control, quick shifter, etc. The shifting is buttery smooth and the traction control is amazingly smooth. The bike is insanely light, about 384lbs; all the wiring is removed from the headlights/tailights/etc. and ignition as well - utilizes a flip switch for ignition. The ECU is a German BMW HP ECU and everything is in KPH and Celsius. The bike accelerates, leans into corners, so easy it’s ridiculous. Obviously I am nowhere on the level Larry is, or most club racers, but this bike is just a level above about 98% bikes on the track. I bought the bike with 20 miles on the fresh engine build from Larry - I actually went out to Ohio, met with him, talked for a while, gave me everything I needed to know about the bike. I still keep in contact with him and he is very responsive with questions and concerns, I will pass this along with the sale. The bike has almost brand new Dunlop slicks. I've done one light track day since putting them on and have plenty of life left. I run 24psi rear and 31 front hot, which are the recommended tire pressures from Larry which I have been completely fine with. Always ran Amsoil 10w40 and literally changed after every track day. I've never raced this bike in a club or series or anything, just in A group at track days. I'm not joking, I clean the bike after every single track day - taking all fairings off, cleaning them thoroughly and cleaning the engine, chain, wheels, rotors, etc. which is how it is in the condition you see. The bike does have minor rock knicks, minor scratches, etc. which is unavoidable when doing track days. The bike has NEVER been down, and is just about flawless. It runs, starts, shifts completely smooth, not a single thing wrong with the bike. The bodywork is all by Catalyst Composites and is painted gloss black. All the decals you see, the foremost logos, numbers, text, etc. is all sticky wrapped decals and is NOT painted on there. All could be removed if wanted and then painted or re-decaled as wanted. Since buying it, I have kept very detailed logs of every track day I have done - how many miles I put on it, what I changed, when I changed the oil, etc. and will pass that along with the sale. I bought the bike with 1472 kilometers on the odometer, and it currently has 2391 kilometers on it; meaning I rode it only 571 miles in the course of 1.5 years. So why am I selling? Honestly, I don’t want to, but I have since gotten into dirt bike riding much more and picked up a couple more KTMs and this bike is just more than I need; I'm going to get another track bike, just something less maintenance and insanity. I've sold my old Ducati 1098 & Aprilia Tuono on eBay so buy in confidence. Please feel free to ask questions, I will respond fast. The bike is currently in Colorado Springs, CO and will not be ridden anymore as I just broke my collarbone! It can be shipped pretty much anywhere in the USA for under $900. 2011 BMW S1000RR VIN: WB1051706BZV42468 Purchased 6/18/2013 w/ 1472 kilometers on odometer (914 miles) Current Odometer: 2391 kilometers (1485 miles) About 20 miles on fresh engine when bought; put 571 on it since Pegram Racing AMA Spec motor (most HP made after NJ race 2013 of all AMA Superbikes) BMW AMA spec cams Ported Heads HP kit ECU with Factory BMW TC mapping developed by Pegram Racing Headlight/tailight/signal/igtion/lighting and wiring removed Catalyst Composite all Carbon Fiber Bodywork Keyless ignition Ohlins 30mm Fork Kit Ohlins TTX shock Ohlins SD-033 Damper Kyle Swingarm Pivots Kyle Full Titanium Exhaust w/ Akra Carbon Fiber Hanger w/ Titanium Bolts OZ Forged Magnesium wheels (3.50x17 and 6.00x17; f5.5lbs r9.5lbs) Dunlop NTEC KR448 front (120/70), KR451 rear (200/55) - Medium F&R Braking SB rotors F&R Speigler Brake Lines Brembo RCS 19 Master Cyliner w/Brembo resovoir & mount Sato Rear Sets & Shifter T-Rex Racing Frame, Stator, Pulse, Clutch, Rear Axle, Front Axle, Bar-end Sliders Vortex sprockets (F16/R44) DID 520 Chain Vortex Clip-ons Vortex Clutch Lever TWM Billet Gas Cap Motion Pro Throttle Dzus Fastners Zero Gravity Windscreen Shorai LFX14A4 Lithium Battery Shorai Battery Charger Weighs around 384 lbs
