Excellent looking machine in original Ducati matte silver paint. A few Minor scratches on the Very underside of the front of the fairing. You have to get directly underneath the bike to see them. Very few of the 620ie Sport were brought into the USA by Ducati. If you want a fun bike to motor on, check this one out. This is by no means a beginners bike, and I reserve the right NOT sell it to someone that I think is not capable of handling this machine. *It is a CASH ONLY Transaction. NO checks, No money orders. 2003 Ducati Super Sport 800, Bought new in 2003 by me. Only 12600 miles. When new, was broken-in according to the specs in the owners manual. Thought I would always have it but there is a house and a wedding that need paid for. . Always Ducati dealer serviced and garaged. Was just PA state inspected in June. Have all books, the tool bag and tools, a helmet cable, a 2003 Ducati full-line brochure, and all keys and key code card. Spent most of its life in Pennsylvania, with the exception of three years in Florida. Completely stock and never modded at all. Newer Michelins with about half of their life left. Oil changed every season, and usually brake and clutch fluid, also. Just put in a new battery last month, and spark plugs. To give you an idea of how hard I (did not) ride it it still has the original brake rotors and pads, and they still have a lot of life left. It only ever needed servicing for one issue in the eleven years I have owned it - in the second year it had an electrical issue and the front wiring harness was replaced under warranty. If youre looking at the Terblanche-designed model years for SuperSports, you should know that 2003 is THE year to buy. 2003 is the first year of the 6-speed transmission, the 800cc engine, and it is the ONLY year for the fully adjustable front and rear suspensions, and adjustable-for-reach Brembo clutch and brake levers. It is also the only year the 800 had the much nicer aluminum rear swing arm, and grey 5-spoke Marchesini wheels. All years after 2003 were de-contented of all of the above features to reduce pricing. I am comfortable saying this is probably one of the nicest stock 2003 800s left anywhere. I just removed the sound deadening material and sprayed the inside of the mid-fairings with VHT black semi-gloss. There are a few very light scratches on the front left side mid-fairing where the gremlins and some new soft asphalt got my kickstand a few years back (the one and last time I did not use my puck). As you can see from the pictures, they are hardly noticeable. Otherwise, there is a hardly a mark on the bike anywhere. It needs nothing to be ridden. But it is due for the following: 1. Oil change 2. 12k service 3. Clutch fluid change 4. Blue high beam indicator LED bulb in dash is not functioning 5. Fuel level sender is not functioning ($199 part the last time I checked) $4,800.00
