If a Sportster® is good, then a lot of Sportster has to be even better. And there is no doubt, the 1200 Evolution® engine makes this a lot of Sportster. Twist the right handgrip and your progress forward is immediate and awe-inspiring. If it were to stop there, most riders would be satisfied. But the 1200 also gives you the style that made the Sportster famous. This 1200 is not in perfect shape by any means, but it wouldn't take much at all to turn it from a "5" to a "10". The motor starts right up and runs very smooth. Has that trademark "putta, putta, putta" Harley sound. Loud too! The aftermarket pipes really let the sound out! The seats are in good shape also, with no signs of abuse. There is rust on some of the chrome, and the tank has been re-painted. Not a very good job of prepping before the repaint though. You can see some marks in it that I took pictures of. Check out all of the pics closely. The front and rear fender both look great, and the tires have thousands of miles of tread left on them. This is a great way for someone to own a Harley for a very small amount of money. It only has 29,873 miles on the Evo motor though, so plenty of life left!
