located in las vegas ..... * * * MECHANICAL DETAILS * * * 2009 thru 2012 CBR600 were unchanged besides colors . so this is same as a 2012 ! THIS BIKE HAS ABS AND ALL RELATED ABS PARTS ARE STILL INSTALLED . UNSURE OF MILEAGE DUE TO GAGES BEING DAMAGED IMPACT TO HEADLIGHT & UPPER FAIRING BUT NO IMPACT DAMAGE TO FRONT WHEEL OR FORK MUST HAVE LOW MILES BECAUSE APPEARS TO STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL HONDA BRAKE PADS AND ORIGINAL CHAIN & SPROCKET ENGINE , CLUTCH AND TRANSMISSION OPERATE PERFECTLY . RUNS GREATDOES NOT REQUIRE GAGES FOR ENGINE TO RUN . CAN RIDE AS IS WITHOUT GAGES ! THROTTLE RESPONSE IS PERFECT AND FUEL INJECTED !!! NEW BATTERY ALL FLUID LEVELS WERE FULL [ EXCEPT NEEDS RIGHT SIDE ALUMINUM COOLANT TUBE BELOW FUEL TANK . IT IS DENTED AND NEEDS REPLACED AS IT WILL RESTRICT COOLANT FLOW I PERSONALLY REMOVED FORK TUBES AND ROTATED THEM TO VERIFY TUBES WERE STRAIGHT .FORKS LINED UP CORRECTLY IN FORK TUBES . AXLE STRAIGHT . FT WHEEL AND ROTORS NEAR PERFECT -NO DAMAGE TO CALIPERS , LOWER FOR LEGS , FRONT FENDER . NO EXHAUST HEAD PIPE DAMAGE , NO ENGINE CASE DAMAGE EXCEPT SCUFFS ON OUTER SIDE COVERS WHICH IS VISIBLE .OIL LEVEL FULL . DING IN RIGHT SIDE OF RADIATOR DOES NOT LEAK AND IS ONLY COSMETIC . NO IGNITION SWITCH , NEEDS FRONT BRAKE RESERVOIR AND BLEED NIPPLE . CLUTCH CABLE KINKED ,AND OTHER DAMAGE SHOWN IN GREAT PHOTOS . I DO NOT HAVE EXTRA PARTS .DO NOT KNOW COSTS OF PARTS - PLEASE DON'T ASK . YOU CAN BUY USED ON E BAY OR .....I HAD TO LIST AS SALVAGE TITLE BECAUSE THERE WAS NO CLOSER CHOICE . no gages therefore mileage unknown - shown as 12345 in listing the insurance adjuster involved with this honda made a decision to give it a NON - REBUILDABLE status .AGAIN , IT HAS A DOCUMENT FROM INSURANCE COMPANY that looks like the front side of a title [ see photo of it ] - YOU CANNOT GET IT CONVERTED TO A TITLE-I CHECKED . YOU CANNOT GET A TITLE FOR THIS FRAME . WAS NOT PREVIOUSLY A RACE BIKE [ IT DOES HAVE RACE TIRES BUT MANY RIDERS INSTALL RACE TAKE OFFS FOR STREET USE BECAUSE ONLY THE SIDES OF TIRES ARE WORN , NOT THE CENTERS ] I PERSONALLY HAVE RIDDEN THIS BIKE NUMEROUS TIMES.I INSPECTED IT BEFORE PURCHASE FROM INSURANCE COMPANY , PURCHASED IT , PERFORMED ALL MECHANICAL WORK , WROTE THIS DESCRIPTION AND TOOK THE PHOTOGRAPHS . RUNS GREAT . CANNOT TITLE THIS " FRAME " FOR THE STREET BUT IT HAS DOCUMENT FROM INSURANCE COMPANY . EXPORTERS NOTE THAT SHIPPER CANNOT USE THIS DOCUMENT TO GET IT OUT OF THE COUNTRY .... On June 9, 2008, Honda revealed a CBR600RR prototype that featured an all new braking system branded as Combined ABS which integrated combined braking, anti-lock braking, and brake-by-wire systems.[11] Combined ABS used a computer control unit to ensure the correct balance of front and rear brake use and also controlled when the ABS should engage.[12] The system was designed to be as unobtrusive as possible by delaying the engagement of the ABS until the last possible moment. Combined ABS was not made available on the production 2008 CBR600RR.[13][14]2009-2012 revision[edit]2010 Honda CBR600RR2009 Honda CBR600RR ABS sensorOn September 5, 2008, Honda introduced a revised CBR600RR for the 2009 model year.[15] Combined ABS became available as an option. Other changes included updates to the engine such as changes to its pistons, cylinder head and exhaust that Honda claims will increase torque delivery between 8,000-12,000 rpm with a 3.5% increase in torque at 10,000 rpm. The CBR600RR’s engine also received a new high resistance valve lifter and a popup valve system inherited from the CBR1000RR. Included also are improved fairings that enhanced stability and reduce noise emission levels, and new color schemes which were designed to attract a wider range of riders. Although all of these changes involved the addition of some materials, the overall weight of the 2009 CBR600RR remained the same as the 2008 model.
