HARLEY DAVIDSON 1948UL FLATHEAD SIDE VALVE CHOPPER/BOBBER. This is a very nice 1948UL that runs, cranks and shifts great. It has the correct 1947 & 1948 only side valve, Flathead Tanks. The motorcycle comes with a clear North Carolina Title. The front brake needs the cable installed. The carburetor is a Linkert M-344 and the Belly numbers are 48-1397. It has a 12 Volt Electric System and has a 21" Front Wheel. The lights work and the tanks look good inside. The primary is chain driven as stock and as you can see it is a foot clutch with a tank shift. It has the correct Bowleg Harley Davidson Frame but appears to be missing the neck lock. The Exhaust Pipes are NOS. The front end is a Wide Glide and looks to be apx 4" over. This would make someone a very good inexpensive rider.
